  1. Thanks so much man! I finally get to see this. My thoughts.. I thought the performance was cool. Will was dressed in some fly futuristic millenium gear and with Jazzy Jeff backing him up on the cuts. Now everytime JJFP perform live, its real dope. This was dope too but again Columbia or whoever made it way too popish. When I listened to the audio of this, I always tried to picture in my mind that it was just Will and Jeff and no dancers. Will said in that Will on Total TV thing on the other board that he had 30 dancers. Thats way too much. He didn't need dancers at all. Also, "Freakin' It" and "Wild Wild West" weren't the right songs to use there. If anything, it clearly shoulda been "Will 2k" but it was after New Years but it still would've worked. But these Grammys happened a few days after the "Freakin It" single was dropped and Columbia wanted a "Gettin Jiggy Wit It" follow-up. Maybe have "So Fresh" or "The Rain" as a performance song. Its still hot though none the less but the dancing just isnt working anymore. A few is fine, but 30 is too crowded.
  2. ahh id love a lost and found poster!! hope they do em :peace: haha yeah same here!
  3. time for me to get plane tickets and go into the african safari lol
  4. thats hot that record stores still sell vinyl
  5. AJ that is an excellent idea. Actually I think they shoulda remaster all of the albums. All albums except "Code Red" have older production in which you have to turn up the volume. Even Code Red is starting to do it. If "Lost & Found" goes platinum and has major hits, I think Jive will do something again. How about also release the JJFP Greatest Hits video on DVD including more "making of the videos" and "The Things That U Do" video. Maybe put some live footage of concerts like at the Grammys and American Music Awards.
  6. My favorite single/album covers are: 1. Code Red - The pictures are very '93ish and JJFP looks tough and more in your face type style and fits the album. This also includes the "I Wanna Rock" and "I'm Looking for the One" single covers. I love the Starter gear and how there more "street". 2. Lost & Found - Will definatly looks dope standing by a West Philly and Hollywood street poll which fits the mood of the album and how its going to be. 3. Willenium - FP has got a fly street jacket and is ready for the new millenium. Again it fits the album.
  7. ah damn a little late now comin in here....if theres any b-sides or promo with like Best Buy again lol..then i call it first!
  8. Man, it got a TON of airplay in America on the music channels. I have a lot of music channels that don't show commercials (like MTV Jams, MTV Hits, VH1 Soul, etc.). Between those, MTV and BET, it was literally hard for me not to find it on at one moment. Anyway, BSC isn't as good as MIB, but it's a decent song. God Blessa! Yeah but it wasnt a song there gonna play like 4 months later since it was only hype for Men In Black 2...i barely saw it on MTV or VH1...not sure bout BET but it wasnt really on the radio either I dont think.
  9. LOL... yeah MTV doesnt even play music anymore except on Direct Effect or TRL...too much crap about reality and drama for teens...so pathetic in the direction that it went.
  10. Theres gotta be some mixtapes or something back in Philly or FP or the other emcees probably have them. It'll be real interesting though...maybe some battles too.
  11. thats the Boom! Shake the Room (MTV Party to Go 5 or 6 Remix)
  12. its just rumors...this shouldnt even really be big news..people are just blowing up little news.
  13. feels like forever :werd: yep 3 more weeks...ahh cant wait
  14. 22 more days for us United States people! :dancingcool:
  15. ah man im watching FPOBA and its the church episode where FP goes down to the youth center to help the "ladies" decorate and its old ladies and he faked a beeper page because he wanted to get out ...hes like "ahh i just got a page, 2pac just got arrested again, i gotta go!" haha that was funny..havent seen this episode in a longgg time. FP and the old ladies are so funny! :hilarious: :hilarious: :hilarious:
  16. yeah this has been a cold one for NJ..dude, u nailed it- theres nothing better than throwing on some FP hits and hitting the jersey shore..cant wait :dancingcool: ah man i got home around noon today from school cuz of that HSPA testing crap and as i was walking home i just wearing a nike windbreaker with a long sleeve ecko t-shirt and jeans and i was hot...the sun was beating down on me so this afternoon i put on "Summertime" (remastered version) and "Summertime '98" ...CLASSIC! sounded so good cuz it felt like it was 70 or so out but now its like 5pm and its breezy and kinda chilly. lol. Just a tease of Summertime i guess. :thumb: :wiggle:
  17. also features rare extra lyrics to "Pump Me Up" and "Hes the DJ, I'm the Rapper" traxs that I never heard before! definatly check this out y'all!
  18. I have this song on my playlist and everytime it comes on, i changed the track cuz i dont really like it anymore. The lyrics and chorus are fine but just like the opening beat and overall production gets annoying. I use to like it alot but definatly sounds like an NBA jam soundtrack anthem or sometihng.
  19. I agree with you Jim, the original and the mix with Thicke is so much better. I agree, too! :afro: The thicke r&b is definatly better but still for me, nothing beats the original. Kwame did an awesome job with the beat and it seems its the only one that fits FP's rapping.
  20. Nobody should download this album at all. period.
  21. I never really use the chat, I only talk to a few members on AIM otherwise I'm here on the board all the time. The chat requires everyone to be online at the same time which is damn near impossible cuz its all worldwide.
  22. dude looks like hes on crack... well im sure he'd fit in with the 50 cent/G-Unit camp cuz they all crackheads.lol
