Dang, I just noticed that I haven't got anything MJ related in a minute. I think the last thing i got was Number Ones like a year ago. I have quite a bit of stuff from him (HIStory DVD's and Dangerous: the short films, and all the solo albums)

some of the fusion stuff is really cool. My friend always makes me and my friends listen to The Mahavishnu Orchestra, they are pretty nice. I know Jan Hammer, who is in that group composed the Miami Vice theme (the TV show, not the movie...if the movie had a theme).

I was watching the episode where Uncle Phil's mom starts dating again(season 2), and there are some very good acting scenes in that for Avery.

I'm taking a History of Jazz course at my college, and I would like to get a little convo going about it. I'm in the early jazz, when it was still dance-able and more like ragtime. I was just curious as to people's fav. songs and artists in this genre.

yeah, Will needs to be in a triology, And MIB 2 wasn't that good, so hopefully all the bad boys movies will be good, I did enjoy the first two.

yeah, its probably just to move the plot along and such. Will not getting paid, doesn't make much sense, if he got paid or not, I don't exactly know what the difference would be.

I hope this doesn't happen, I personally don't think very highly of reality shows, and most of the time, if I watch a commercial, my dad will say "they call that good? he/she's singing out of tune."

well, growing up I lived in a neighborhood right outside of Stapleton, Staten Island. And a few of my friends lived in Stapleton, so I used to and still hang out there. But that is the home of some of the members of the Wu-Tang Clan. Also, at my fathers job, there are quite a few people who now work on Broadway, and my dad worked with, and I had a few conversations with a woman named Arlette, who got a gig at The Cotton Club in Harlem.

I've spent the past 17 years celebrating Singles Awareness day, lol. 18th time's the charm, lol. I actually ditched my class today and spent the time with my girl, thankfully the weather here is crazy and the professor for my 4:40 pm class sent and e-mail cancelling class so I'm only counted as one absence....yay

I think Avery and Geoffrey (forgot the actors name at the moment) are the two best actors on the show.

I hope he comes out with an album soon, I remember getting Invincible on the day it released. That was in 8th grade....now I'm in my second semester of college, lol. MJ really has to do something soon to put himself back on the map....and obviously something other than a trial. I.E. a tour that goes on prior to the release of the album, and then after the tour is done, the album releases.

wow, that'd be kinda crazy. I remember in high school Jason Kidd was always being talked about. Now he's kind off the face of the planet... it would be cool if he traded, but it would probably bring some protest from nets fans.

I've done a lot of hanging out on my campus and I'm really getting serious with playing my bass, and now a girlfriend. So I've been very busy, but I tend to check the boards daily and usually see nothing of interest. We should get some forum gameplay, that tends to bring the board back to life for a little.

grrrr... no will smith at the grammy's oh well.

I really enjoy the show (I have the first two seasons on DVD), and that show is really cool. But I didn't want to see the move at all, and from a friend of mine (who watched miami vice when it was on in the 80s) says that its really bad. So I'm glad I didn't waste my money.

grrrr... at 6 pm I looked at my clock and noticed that I missed the podcast....oh well. I gotta catch the next one, I haven't been part of one since like the 5th podcast, lol.

if this really happens, someone has to get that on youtube!!! I'll watch that every day for at least a week!
