  1. they added a boombox at the bottom of the screen but they don't give you a link to see the video (ther than the pop-up)
  2. THey showed that on world news tonight, someone said it was ":sub-consious racism."
  3. :mygod: I suprised how clear it is I know you said there were no clouds, but I thought pollution would make it look darker or somrthing...................
  4. I don't know if anyone has put this up already, but this just came to me so I stopped reading the posts and clicked add reply anyway, JJFP changed the game when they released that NBC FPOBA record because it showed the first rapper being an actor. and first DJ being an actor. (I'm probally really stretching the definition of "album" with this.)
  5. ^^^^I didn't even notice that, that is really true you also make a good point, Julie mainly the reason why I thought this up was because in the full Michael Jackson smooth criminal video he adds a couple of verses (I was watching the video at the time) and also it could kinda be like a 12" single kinda thing.
  6. that is really cool that will is stepping up like that.
  7. if you have a cd burner, just burn it onto a blank disc in order to keep scratches off it. I did that with my rock the house.
  8. this really rivals with whaty I said about the girls ain't nothing but trouble original version being the best download of the year, this really comes in a extremely close 2nd.
  9. does anyone think that will may put in a new verse in the tell me why single about the hurricane in new orleans?
  10. it was worth the wait but you guys have probally been wanting this more than me because my work has really been at the top of the things I was caring about, and I just came to the forume yesterday and I remembered the music video was to come out I just got lucky.
  11. if someone can, PLEASE put it in the video forum to download, can anyone hack?!?!?!?
  12. one more thing, on the AOL music poll vote that you loved that video!!!!
  13. I really love that video but I wish they put some guitar when he went to the rave, but that really dosen't matter, but the lag from my comp. kinda screwed it up, due to the special effects.
  14. just because its mainstream dosen't mean it changes the game, my friend's dad told me that back in the 80's in underground rap gangsta rap was around and then it emerged and got big, I think we should be asking ourselves "who made something in rap popular."
  15. I guess I'll watch the live 8 performance or something.
  16. on the AOL music, the link is there but it won't play!!!!!! :damnyou:
  17. I think there is some truth there, rap is the doo-wop of the "internet generation" (kids born 1985-1990) doo-dop was created, it got big, it dies out and in the 80's it came back but it just wasn't the same. then doo-wop died out until this day. the same thing is with rap. in the 70's and 80's it started and got big and in the 90's it was still big but it sort of "died" out when we had the boy band fad, and rap came back but it isn't the same. now rap has to die out or something like that. altought I think some records that changed the game were JJFP- he's the DJ 1st rap grammy wu tang-enter the wu-tang 36 chambers wu tang has a damn mythology behind it (kung-fu movies, records, the wu-tang manual) beastie boys-license to ill 1st white guys to really make it big Michael Jackson-smooth criminal michael actually has some kinda rap lyrics which alot of pop artists have used that style since. kid 'n play-2 hype they started to sample different types of music as opposed to others from that time.
  18. I hope that they don't live in a 9am-5pm day or else we will have to wait a while. all the comics that I get daily in my e-mail are sent to be at about 1a.m. so I say it will be updated around then.
  19. i, robot "I don't like getting in a relationship beyond a certain point."
  20. yeah new orleans is practically under water and there is alot of looting all over the place.
  21. ^^^^^^^^^^^ I hope you are right^^^^^^^^^^^^^ :mrt2: --------" i pitty the fool who dosen't see the party starter video."
  22. hip-hop is pop music now, 50 cent is just as hardcore as britney spears, honestly I have to say that hip-hop is making people softer than ever before; kinda like in friday when the father tells ice cube that he's afraid of getting an ass-whoopin'. that really is true, so many of the people I know compain like little girls (i.e. one of my friends yelled at me "I broke a nail." and I nearly slapped the piss out of him for that.) since when are "hardcore" hip-hop guys cry when they broke a nail?? I actually know girls who if they break a nail they tear the nail off of file it or something, not yell at you about it. in conclusion 98% of hip-hop fans are SOFT nuff said
