and see, thats where anyone lacking knowledge as a parent can hurt them from the truth. It CAN ruin a child's life. Just because someone is a parent doesn't mean they master parenting skills. We all fall short to an extent, however some parents allow video games, and television to 'babysit' their kids while they do whatever else... Parents should be actively involved in their children's lives...preparing them to face life after they leave home,... to include talking about drugs, weapons, sex (protection, disease) etc.... because once they leave,...they're basically on their own. Games may introduce alot the parent may fail to discuss, when a parent can break it down to their level of understanding... and I can only encourage anyone who's a parent (or someday will be) to care enough to teach their OWN children abt safety issues when it comes to sex, drugs and weapons... I dont give a dog's butt who disagrees, but its the truth... My sons have learned alot about weapons, shooting center mass, both from video games and from my talking with them about proper weapon use, and when or why they should use one, or even kill anyone ... if the occasion should ever arise. Why you ask? Because I want them to learn first hand from me (prior military police) about weapon safety, and misuse of weapons... and the dangers of mishandling something they are unfamiliar with, asides what they may have learned via a video game... Yea, I would tell my son that he is a good "shot", and further encourage him that someday he may make a good police officer, versus a thug on the street that a video game might place an emphasis on. I can't change how society places an emphasis on sex drugs weapons, but I can plant a positive seed in my child's mind to think differently... on the 'right' side of something that can ruin a childs life... God gives us all great minds, and its my choice to think the way I do... change a possible negative into some level of positive... If you dont step up to the plate and give children alternative outlooks when it comes to the exact things society places a strong emphasis on (sex, drugs, weapons, or what ever else)... then they may make some decisions in life that may put them on a wrong path. I dont want to be like the woman I once worked with, whose husband called her at work, with the bad news that her 17 year old shot himself in the face playing with a weapon. I could never live with that, so instead of shielding them from LIFE, I give them something to think about,...so they can ask questions...to embrace the opportunity to sit and talk with them... its all about safety, and helping them have a clearer understanding of their decision making process,... which could cause them their lives, or another life...asides what they see on tv, or games like GTA... and with that said,... Imma have to be through with this topic,...because I love my kids enough to teach them right from wrong...and dont care to reason with anyone or even further explain my choices as a single mother... we all have different opinions,..but whateva. those of u, whose opinion differs from myne... U do ur thing, and Ill let God lead my path in doin myne, when it comes 2 instilling values and respect for life in my children... peace, cookie

I don't think its because he's overwhelmed, cause he is not the only moderator there. Not to mention, many of us have offered suggestions and our help with that board. I even sent an email months ago to the webmaster, and volunteered myself and AJ to rejoin the moderator team... Guess theyre scared of seeing it run RIGHT. lmbo but even if they asked me now...I'm not sure if I would even accept it, unless we were allowed to run it the way we used to... Don't u run the Wicked Wisdom board? I know this is far from a 'lucky try' but if u ever get to interact with Miss Jada in private message, maybe u could bring it to her attention, and possibly ask her to have Will himself consider getting his old moderators back. Its worth a try, and if he says yes...then his word is as good as gold...well platinum but thats another story. LMBO... then again... It was a, tan man with white hair and red lipstick He looked really nasty it almost made me get sick He had on a top, the kind that girls wear And a white thong bottom, now thats kind rare it reminded me of a long tyme ago I was driving on the expressway and some idiot drives out of nowhere, (u know when u wanna give the finger to crazy drivers)...but instead, I looked over at him on my left,...this fat white dude who had on BRIGHT red lipstick beyond his lips, smudged sorta on his face,... a wig that was just 'sitting' on his head, and he made an ugly face & stuck out his tongue at me, and pulled down his shirt over um...his chest/breast whatever it was,...LOL. When I saw his comment to me as to why I took this game away...naturally I was upset... They don't need to think its cool killing ppl in games to get the mission accomplished... I'd like to think younger WS fans would have more 'idealistic' lyrical content in their flow, representin abit more interesting thoughts according to their age group... and i DO mind abt the cussin, cuz of his age... What are you talking abt! Thats NOT living in a world of REALITY by not telling THEM crime don't exist. We talk about these things quite abit, and I don't covet them or hide the fact that there is violence in the world. Theres violence in the news everyday, and I can not and will not hide facts of everyday life circumstances, but take my ROLE as a mother and educate them while I have the opportunity to. Once they are mature enough, and have the RIGHT mentality to know their choices in life are about making their own decisions, (weather right or wrong)...then it's my responsibility AND choice to monitor what my kids do, including the video games they play. period. So dont chastise me like i'm some kind of hipocritical person just because I monitor my children's activities as best I can. Things do slip by parents, (like this GTA game) and we can't be there every moment of their lives... You may not see wrong in it, but thats your proud choice to dedicate urself to, but my opinion differs when it comes 2 MY children... I make an attempt to solicit alternative 'escapes' for my kids extracurricular activities, not draw their attention to things they will naturally learn abt as they're growing... This game is for ADULTS. Im upset that some adult sold the game to a minor not to mention your sarcastic comments frenetic... :thatsux: peace, cookie

I'm dissapointed in how the board is run, and the moderating team isn't doing what we expect of them. They seemed to come n go, or do a VERY little here and there 2 please us. I was trying to help get the site back the way it used to be..but after awhile, I pretty much lost quite abit of interest altogether... I was like, if they dont care...BUMP it... Guess they either don't GIVE a crap...or dont give a CRAP...lol (same difference) Either way, the real fans r the ones that dont wanna deal with that messy board... aint nobody losing out (in a supportive aspect) but the man himself. well... I don't like the idea of my sons playing this game. I went through my son's game collection when they came home from New England, and what did I find? Grand Theft Auto San Andreas! I have NO complete idea how he was able to purchase it with a 'M' rating, but he did... (mind u,..that I was in Georgia). I told him to put it in my room,..and he BETTER not touch it. I'm either selling this game or letting him trade it in at GameStop. I don't care how much money he loses, but he won't be playing it again... peace, cookie

I think the board is just fine as it is. Like AJ said, ppl use common sense and read the subtitles & put posts where they should be. If ppl put them in a wrong spot like u did with this one , the posts can be generally moved by a moderator... Caught In The Middle is for off topic posts... peace, cookie

The ending of that was really touching... altho...there were inclusive parts of this that I disagree with as it conflicts with my own spiritual beliefs. I didn't want to go into it, because of conflicting beliefs and opinions on the board... but since you posted this,...I did want to emphasize from an earlier post, that everybody does NOT worship the same God. God is love, not evil. So if anyone is claiming to take lives of innocent ppl in the name of GOD...then we should understand that they dont serve the same God of Love that we do, but some other negative force that is driving them (insane and) to these acts of unkindness... Many religions place an emphasis on the trueness of their teachings, and it can place barriers, (like fences) as seperating the 'religious' fanatics out there... but push come and shove,... there is one and ONLY God that loves all of us, regardless of skin colour, etc... A God that wants us to unite as a people, and put aside all of those religious 'titles'...and pray for our enemies (these bombers, terrorists and countless others) that are just carrying out their evilness to destroy our faith and belief in God, and keep us divided as children of God by religious titles. People will be critical of God in these instances, and say Why would God do this to innocent people? God didn't do it, the people did. People that DONT serve him. God loves us enough to give us choices in life, to follow and believe in him and spread the light and greatness of his love, as well, the choice to remain in the darkness. These ppl have no desire to really know God... We honestly have to pray for terrorists, bombers, and all ppl that dont have a true understanding, because they are so lost in the world, the only way 4 them to make a change in their behaviour or EVIL acts, is to be taught,. Some have the wrong ppl guiding or brainwashing them and feeding them the wrong 'food'. The word of God, once we consume it, is considered 'meat' for our souls. Until those ppl are willing to consume the trueness of God, there will always be unfortunate situations when ppl 'choose' to cause destruction and confusion... just as they are lost and confused... These are the ppl that really need our prayers... Sorry bout the long post. It may seem that I'm rambling like some religious fanatic,...however, I would never force my views on another,...simply share my personal insights ... peace, cookie

It's a great program. Tim and I was on last night, and we had a little fun. LOL He was like...
