Wills performing Switch @ NBA Finals
Angel Amor replied to Hero1's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
I'm ok wit it. But mimi does have a point that is his hit rite now n, u can't perform a song that the ppl don't know yet it could go really bad. I'm just happy 2 hear that Will is 1 of the performers at the NBA Finals. I mean they could have gone wit 50 cent but he ain't exactly family friendly. -
Being Bobby Brown Premieres Thursday, June 30 @ 10/9c The eight-episode, half-hour series is an introspective look at the Grammy-winning Bobby Brown, and his life as a husband, father, and friend. His own wife dubbed him the "King of R&B" and this is their royal story told from Brown's heart. This real-life "fly-on-the-wall" look at Bobby Brown's world will reveal deeply personal moments that vary from humorous to heartwarming and which are, at times, emotionally charged. "This summer, Bravo launches nine new original series, each providing a distinct take on an aspect of pop culture, the arts and entertainment," said Lauren Zalaznick, President, Bravo. "Bobby Brown, by virtue of his music, fame and high profile family relationships, is a pop culture icon, whose life is played out in the media daily. This series deconstructs his public persona and provides a true 360 degree look at what his private life is like." Being Bobby Brown will follow Brown and the rest of his immediate and extended family over the course of six months. Shot documentary-style, the series will reveal the close bonds Bobby has with his wife and children and unveil what his life is like both in the spotlight and behind closed doors. The series will show Brown as a family man and husband, apart from the front-page scandals and allegations that have plagued, and at times overshadowed, his successful music career. Viewers also get a deep look into Brown's relationships with his wife, Whitney Houston, their daughter, Bobbi Kristina, and La Princia and Bobby, Jr., his children from a previous relationship. Being Bobby Brown will also uncover the direction Brown intends to take his career and introduce the important role that his brother and manager, Tommy Brown, plays as "his brother's keeper" in his work and his life. Over the course of the series, viewers will experience the highs and lows of Being Bobby Brown, from the highs of traveling with the Browns on their family vacation to London where Bobby meets the Dalai Llama to a trip to the Bahamas where Bobby and family seek peace and personal time together. Private moments will also be shared including a romantic day date with Bobby and Whitney at a spa, as well as their love of food from dining on steaks at fine restaurants to eating flapjacks at the local pancake house. Equally balanced will be the low points of Bobby's life, including one of many visits to the courtroom. One of the hottest R&B stars of the late '80s and early '90s, Brown is credited for popularizing New Jack Swing, which is the hybrid style of R&B or soul music combined with Rap or Hip-Hop rhythms. A founding member of New Edition, Brown left the group in 1986 to embark on a solo career. Brown's second solo album, "Don't Be Cruel," which was released in 1988, landed him on the cutting-edge of modern R&B and spawned the no. 1 hit "My Prerogative," the ballad "Roni," and "Every Little Step," which earned him a Grammy in 1989 for Best Rhythm and Blues Vocal Performance, Male. Brown's other hits include the "Ghostbusters II" theme "On Our Own," "She Ain't Worth It," "Humpin'Around," "Good Enough," "Get Away," and "That's the Way Love Is." I was reading Entertainment magazine. N they talk about this show. they say the high light of the show is bobby recalling a time when he assisted his wife while on the toilet which whitney chimed in "thats black love".

Ahh well U win sum, U lose sum. Will doesn't need an MTV Movie award. An Oscar for Best Actor would be better.
-
Yeah it's ashame they didn't mention the name of the film.

I would like to c Will win a couple of Grammy's. But I agree wit Big Willie Style I think he'll maybe be nominated 4 a VMA but he won't win they'll most likely give it 2 50cent or The Game.

Well MIB 2 was suppose to be dark because it was to show how Agent J was letting the job get 2 him. It had some funny parts in it but it could have been better. Maybe with a good script it will be. Can't wait!

"Other standout performances include his requisite versions of "Summertime" and "Gettin' Jiggy Wit' It," as well as the debut of a new track, "Tell Me Why," that featured an in-person cameo from none other than Mary J. Blige; the new song outwardly seemed to be a little too much of a downer- it sounds a lot like many of Eminem's depressing productions- but Smith's introspective lyrics elevated the tune among the ranks of today's most intelligent rap songs"-Todd Gilchrist Well I think what the guy was saying is that the song is a bit darker compared to his fun songs that he usually does like "Here We Go Again"(can't wait 2 c that). At least the guy made up 4 that by saying It ranks of 2days most intelligent rap songs which it is. The thing that bugs me is when ppl say he is biting off of Jadakiss or Jadakiss Why is better. NONO. Jadakiss "Why" is terrible I mean Jada has the nerve 2 say "Why is Jadakiss as hard as it gets" oh plz spare me. That song is terrible n ... O anyway like the review of the concert n thankx dude 4 posting that :2thumbs:

I forgot to add something. The thing is tho Will has never said who pulled a gun or fired shots at him n Jeff. The story changes who ever is telling it. But the fact is that Will never said who. But Dana Goodman sued Will 4 slander saying that Will made false statements about him pulling a gun on Will. I believe the case dismissed. Cause it was all hear say. "Friends" of Dana Goodman told Dana that in the interview of US Weekly was refering to Dana.Cause Will said that a manger pull a gun on them to make them sign a contract which later sold to Jive Records n they made millions and this guy was pissed n fired shots at them when ever he saw them. Will mention about a gun being drawn on him in Scary Story n again Will doesn't say who.

U know it's funny I think Ready Rock C said no such music was even made. But JJFP say there was 1 made but of course got shut down do 2 copyrighted matrial. N they're to settle this if JJFP were to star in 1 of their films called House Party. I guess Ready Rock was already pulling away from JJFP. Cause com'on how can u say no such music video was made but the JJFP got sued. Somebody must have a copy lock away somewhere. That would be worth sumthing, rite?

o yeah I just saw that on the new about that except that they didn't mention Will they did mention Dave Matthews Band, Bon Jovi, P.Diddy n 50 Cent. O well. I was gonna post that question when I heard about it cause it's in Philly n the concert is to rise money 4 Aids funds o n Will was the ambassador 4 the 46664 foundation it would make sense that he should be added 2 the line up. Anyway glad 2 hear that he is. :thumbsup2:

o that is so cool. not it's not cool it's beyond that ,it's jiggy :haha: i hope he performs Party Starter :woot:
