Has anyone seen this music video or heard the song. It's mad catchy... The video's pretty cool too. Definitely a song for the block or house parties... Perhaps something you'll hear at the club as well. It's not like the lyrics will have you dropping your jaw, but there are a couple clever lyrics that will catch your ear. Let the bass from the speakers move through your sneakers Up to your feet, now run to the beat... The female Sean Paul... Um... no, lets hold off on that... But noteworthy to say the least.... Lol, we're still milking Switch I guess... That's been the logic of some here for the last month and a half. Hopefully, we don't get to December and Christmas with people talking about... "We're just milking Party Starter..." But Party Starter is on the radio... It will be on the charts soon... and then it will begin to climb fast... I know the wait for the video is killing us... but it's coming soon. Has anyone heard interviews with Will on the radio. I know he was pretty much everywhere when Switch dropped, but he was really promoting Lost and Found and Hitch...

Will didn't perform at the BET awards... Incidentally, they are on tomorrow night if anyone missed them.

The 3rd single most likely will be released in august, and hit the radio begin late august or begin sept. and it will most likely be Tell me why, the perfect song, it's gonne be BIG. ← Lol, lets just hope we get Tell Me Why before the year ends. I don't even want to set a month before we get what we had to deal with in Party Starter's release. If anyone's counting, it took about 4 and a half months after Switch's release for Party Starter to be released.

Will's pretty much the best at everything he does. Movies, music, sitcoms... I'm still waiting for him to announce his bid for president... If Nick Cannon wants to try... good luck.

Quick everyone, name a Will solo album that Born 2 Reign is better than. Can't think of one... name a JJFP album that Born 2 Reign is better than... lol... exactly...

Can I get an Amen? ← They don't they need him to sell their "Now 19" compilation. Lol, I think we're taking that to the extreme a little. The same Sony Music people seem to hate now is the same Sony Music that brought us Big Willie Style and Willenium. As much as we may believe Sony was entirely responsible for Born 2 Reign and evil for dropping Will inspite of the fact that Will himself was eager to leave and to become more engaged in Overbrook, lets not forget Big Willie Style and Willenium. Will doesn't seem to have any animosity towards Sony, I don't see why the fans should. Now Amen to that.

Party Starter has moved up to 31 spins and is number 161 on the mediabase chart, up from number 248 last week.

For those who haven't heard and who missed it last Saturday, the Live 8 concert performances will be played back in their entirety on Sat, July 8th... The first half, from 10am-3pm will be played back on VH1 and the second half, from 3pm-8pm will be played back on MTV. Those times are eastern standard times... Ya'll... um... can do the math... Lol. Tivo, video, and PVRs at the ready everyone.

Yeah, I was going to post this earlier. Switch just won't stop. I actually saw the commercial for NOW 19. Switch was the last song they played. They played the beat. Just more promotion for Will. That's what's up.

The radio edit has a faster pace... I've always thought that the original was a bit slow, especially when I first heard it compared to what we heard from Westwood. I like some parts, I don't like other parts... so I really can't vote on this one... I definitely like the "break it down, OH.... OH.... OH... OH......" That's fun to listen for some reason, and it's gonna be great on the dancefloor I envision. ...but I'm still not voting.

I don't really have too much sympathy for her. When she gets out, she's just going to have even more streed cred and her subsequent albums will sell even better, unfortunately. It's funny to hear people talk on other forums about how she is the one being persecuted and how this is unfair when she admitted to her crime at the sentencing.

My thoughts and prayers definitely go out to those who have loved ones who have been killed or injured in this tragedy. It's a shame that people who consider themselves human beings can take such violent steps in an attempt to get their way. Hopefully, this will serve to further strengthen our collective resolve against terrorism and help to bring a world together that has become very divided as of late. It's just a sad thing that it may take this tragedy to do those things.

This is really good news. It seems to be doing a good job climbing. I think it's about time we organize voting for the video on 106 & Park and TRL as well as radio stations and so forth. Lets make it our goal to have Party Starter be the number 1 song this summer. That would be a great accomplishment and right where Will deserves to be.

Cookouts, cookouts, and more cookouts. It's just a great time to hang with family and friends. I think the reason Independence Day seems to be on par with Christmas is what Christmas still represents to many people. It's an occasion for joy and happiness indeed, but it can also be quite sombering. Independence Day is all about having fun, the weather's warm, and there's more to do, no inhibitions and no obstacles (like snow and the cold). I personaly enjoy Christmas more for what it represents and the general atmosphere of the season (giving being better than receiving as opposed to accidentally burning people's houses down with fireworks... lol.) But that's my stream of consciousness for the day.

It's not that serious. As Frenetic said, quite a number of radio stations haven't received the song yet.

Don't fret guys, it's just started. It's gonna get into the top 10. If Switch can get into the top 10, Party Starter will get into the top 10.

I actually enjoyed the MTV Lost and Found special the most. Maybe because the spacing was more confined, you could hear the crowd's reaction better, but they were really really feeling Will (it helps that he's an alumnus). The summertime performance was especially off the hook. The whole crowd was into it. Definitely my favorite. Maybe that should be added to the poll.

Good article. It's always nice to hear positive things about Will and Jada, especially since they're trying their best to project such positive images. When's the last time you've seen Will or Jada in a tabloid, or on the news? Hip hop, hollywood and the community definitely need more people if not couples like those two.
