I don't really have anything negative to say. I don't know exactly what the circumstances are so I'll reserve judgement until we have the complete story. This could very well be no fault of his own. It's quite likely that the filming at a certain location can only take place on that day or any number of other issues. Guys, don't be too quick to speak in judgement when we don't know all the information. Incidentally, he's been at 0% respect in a lot of your guys eyes for a long time. Shouldn't he be in the negatives now? I see a few "I have 0 respect for him now" expressions as if he had 1 or 2 percent prior to this. LOL... just asking...

They're giving props, which is always good. I think that many people think Will's music is corney... Miami, Gettin' Jiggy With It, etc... the thing is, he's not trying to make serious music and just happens to come off as corney. He makes a concerted effort be be corney, to be playful and childish... He doesn't take himself too seriously and he has no problem having fun with his music. Is "Getting' Jiggy Wit It" corney? Of course, but it's enjoyable because we know he's being corney on purpose, it's part of his character. When he wants to be serious, he can be very serious as evidenced by Ms. Holy Roller, Tell Me Why and a few other songs on the album. How do we reconcile the corniness with the seriousness... we attribute it to the multifaceted nature of his character. It's a wonderful thing to have diversity, especially within yourself. It keeps you work fresh and the audience guessing. This is why I can enjoy something like Tell Me Why and at the same time enjoy MIB with the dancing alien and all.

Yeah, I went to Walmart and I got the very last one on the shelf... but I'm sure enjoying it as we speak.

That's great. I thought they would have released it a lot earlier, but now seems to be as good a time as any with the summer heating up along with the block parties... Coupled with the forthcoming Party Starter, the summer looks good.

I'm definitelty down with that. If we can get 75 to 100 votes from everyone on the forum, that would be great. In fact, why don't we start organizing that now. If we could get the number of people who are willing to vote about 100 times daily when Party Starter comes out, we can get an idea of how many votes will be needed to get it to the top. I know that we tried with Switch, but perhaps if we can get it more organized this time around, we could be more successful. Maybe we can form a list of people who are willing to vote, how much they voted or will vote, and when. What do you guys say. Lets make it an official JJFP.com project for at least the duration of July, to get Party Starter on 106 and Park and on the MTV top 10 countdown. Incidentally, how many active regular members do you guys think we have on the forum? Tim, would you have access to that info?

Alfred (the butler) is still alive. I haven't gotten a chance to see the movie yet, but I know I'll try to venture to the theater on either Friday or Saturday. I've been waiting for this for quite some time.

And I'll stress again... yes, Switch has a beat and is very danceable, but it is lyrically inferior to the other tracks listed below. Lost and Found Party Starter Tell Me Why I Wish I Made That Ms. Holy Roller Mr. Nice Guy Here He Comes Scary Story Could You Love Me Even Wave 'em Off That's a lot of tracks... I don't know about you guys, but I tend to listen to the lyrics and the flow of the music I play, or else I may as well be listening to the instrumentals. Though it is opinion, it is generally accepted opinion that Switch is one of the weaker possible singles off the album. This was said from the very first day the album was leaked and people heard the other songs.

As for 50, he CAN rap. And if I'm right, it was Nas who started the beef by dissing 50 Cent first in one of his concerts. That is why 50 responded with Piggy Bank. And Nas is just an average rapper with no talent. 50 Cent can destroy Nas anyday, anytime without breaking a sweat. ← I couldn't let this go unadressed. Nas was the guy who brought us Ether... you seriously think he can't put something better out than Piggy Bank? Piggy Bank? All the stuff he can clown 50 on... Will allegedly "dissed" 50 a while back calling him talentless... I guess you'd be ok with 50 going at Will sometime this summer.

Obviously, the jurors didn't think so. And they've expressly stated that his celebrity had no bearing on the verdict. And do you honestly believe members of a family who's been involved in welfare fraud, has filed false police reports, has gotten childen to lie under oath in the past and has sought money from other celebrities regularly. There's so much reasonable doubt here, it's ridiculous. I don't think the fact that the case was high profile had anything to do with the verdict. The family was not credible.

Injury shouldn't be used as an excuse to dismiss a poor showing in a given year, but this doesn't mean that it doesn't play a key roll in the fate of a team, and ultimately, how well they play. The Lakers certainly had their problems last year. Their frontcourt was miniscule at best, with Chris Mihm, who played pretty well, anchoring the center position, but that was about it. I don't even know if Chucky Atkins can be considered a point guard, 4 spots in the starting 5 were changed, new coach and assistent coaches, new defensive and offensive schemes... there was a lot to deal with... and they were still contending for the playoff all the way into Feb. And then we have injuries... Lamar Odom, Vlade Divac, Luke Walton, Brian Grant, Devean Georges, Slava Medvedenko and Kobe Bryant all had extensive injuries. I don't think the phrase, "they suck" really applies to the Lakers at this point. I'll prudently reserve judgement until most of their players are injury free and can actually play together. Look at Minnesota. They didn't make the playoffs either, and they had a pretty horrible season last year, but I wouldn't contribute it to the fact that "they suck." They had internal problems that manifested themselves on the court. All in all, look for the Lakers to make some moves over the summer. They have a #10 draft pick, and I believe another in the 20s. Incidentally, Allan Houston has been "injured" for the better part of the last 3 years. He's almost like Grant Hill in that respect. Also, NY is playing in the east... so if you have the same record as a team out west, that's not something to boast about. In fact, you probably shouldn't even mention it.

This is really great. It's quite likely that Will's performance at the NBA finals helped this week. Just a hypothesis. Again, one of the main reasons I wish he had done a part of Party Starter. Whatever reasons he went up, good news... Good news none the less.

However the majority of their players were injured for much of last season, yet they were in the playoff running for much of last season. They don't exactly stink.
