And I absolutely don't want him to perform Switch. We've seen somewhere between 5-10 Switch performances... that's quite enough.

Oh... this is hot. This is definitely... unbelievably hot. If he performs Party Starter on a stage as big as the NBA finals, it's very likely that the song would have been released by then. The NBA finals begin on June 9th... so any day now. For those who don't remember, last year's NBA finals anthem was Black Eyed Peas's "Lets Get It Started," and they played it at the beginning and end of absolutely every commercial break, so it's quite likely that Party Starter could be the anthem this year, recieving the same treatment. In hindsight, if it turns out to be the anthem, Will will have made the perfect choice in releasing Party Starter for the summer. It's safe to say that Will wouldn't have been performing Tell Me Why at the NBA finals. I'm telling you guys, Party Starter is about to blow up. I'm going to be doing a lot of recording in June. Thanks for the info. Great news.

Final numbers are in. He's at 40 with 26,421 sold. 2% drop. No place drop from last week. Accurate numbers are still pending.

Great news! So not only are he and Jada hosting, but he's going to perform, and perform Party Starter at that. Oh, i'm going to enjoy recording this. And guys... for those who may miss the awards... they usually play it about 17 more times in the course of the next week, so you'll have plenty of chances to catch it.

I can't imagine a remix for Party Starter coming out without Luda being on it, and there will almost certainly be a remix, so we can count that as a collabo for the time being. Incidentally, there were rumors about the Switch remixes being releases and there being a video for one of them. Does anyone have updated info on that.

Another thing is that Will should limit the number of collabo singles he puts out. He has somewhat of a collabo with Ludacris... I'd be quite shocked if Luda didn't show up in the video and on a couple of remixes of Party Starter. He has a collabo with Mary J. on Tell Me Why. A 3rd collabo for the 4th single is a bit on the overkill side.

I thought about that too, but I came to the conclusion that it's possible that they could've shown them, the people who helped in the video, the finished video after it was done. ← Yeah... it's a possibility... I'm still wondering about other shooting locations. Music videos are never shot in just one location anymore. There are always 2, 3, or 4 locations. Lerkot... did she mention anything about that?

Tell Me Why has too poppy of a beat? Are you kidding? Any darker and children wouldn't be able to listen to the track. I'm not sure what definition of "hot" you're using here. If you're talking about "hot" for commercial hip hop, it certainly isn't, mainly because it's a serious song for serious people. For the life of me, I can't understand why people can't stand Wave 'em Off. If it's the beat people aren't feeling... that's coo, but the lyrics are on point as is the message. If You Can't Dance I can agree with... should have been released on the Hitch soundtrack and left at that.

Will's been focused more on movies in the last couple of years. He's not only a recording artist anymore, so it's likely that he doesn't have time to do movies, do his own music, spend time with his family, stay involved with Overbrook, do charities, and still record remixes for people. Also, though he should, Will doesn't have the respect in hip hop that others have, so people wouldn't necessarily call him up to do a remix on their song.

I'm not sure about Christmas, lol... but at least until the Fall. And as has been mentioned... he's doing a tour as well. Good times. Good times indeed.

:1-say-yes: too all of you who were bemoaning Will shooting "Pursuit of Happiness" in the summer. Just goes to show that he can still shoot movies and handle the music. Truly the hardest working man in entertainment.

Lol, they stole my idea... um, lol... ahead of time... Don't know how credible this is Lerkot... but thanks for the info. We'll see how it turns out. The idea sounds good. I'm eager to see what it would look like. If the video was recorded about 2-3 weeks ago, the video should be finishing post production soon. We may get a video in about a week to 2 weeks. Good look. One thing that does bother me is that the video doesn't seem as big as I would have liked to have seen it if this is true. But again, Lerkot's source may not know if there were multiple locations for shooting so I guess we'll have to wait and see. Thanks again for the info Lerkot.
