I think Wild Wild West was a miss. This has nothing to do with Will... He did as good a job as he could with the script he was given... but the script... the villain... the plot... everything was pretty lackluster... Will did his best, but he couldn't save it. He could have tried 10-15 times harder, but it would have made no difference.

So what's the outcome? Did Will perform?

We don't know whether it's all Columbia's fault or not, that's pure speculation. We don't know exactly what went down with Columbia. BWS did sell over 9 million copies and Willenium sold over 2 million in the US. We can't just start blaming Columbia when it becomes convenient. If we're willing to heap the blame on Columbia for Born to Reign, we have to heap the praise on Columbia for Willenium and BWS's success. However, as an artist's who's last 2 albums had gone multi-platinum, I'm sure Will had a reasonable amount of say in how things went with Born To Reign.

When did the album debut on the charts? It's quite likely that it will rise if the album debuted very low on the charts as well.

Yeah I also think that it's great!!! I really like the sales 4 now but for sure, I think just like me, everyone expected more but I mean come on, it's pretty ok, it's aight! I'm glad L&F is in front of EM and Game! :kekeke: Game's Documentary has been out for 16 weeks... 10 weeks longer than Lost and Found... and Eminem's Encore has been out for 26 weeks... 20 weeks longer than Lost and Found... With that added info, the fact that Lost and Found is selling higher than those two albums at this point in time isn't as comforting...

Yeah but there's a very big point in the album, if ya know what I mean... Will said that people will be shocked by the new album because it's very different from the other ones and harder, too! He did it because he said what he always wanted to say and it's not just an album, it's a piece of him! That gotta be done by Will because so many people talkin' trash bout him and it all really got on his nerves and so he really needed to bring out an album like that! I think Will's "The Rain" and "Afro Angel" are better, if they were released, peeps would be saying Will's one of the deepest rappers ever, screw Columbia, they f'd up his image! :poke: I could name 100 JJFP/Will Smith songs that're better than those listed on there. "Brand New Funk", "I Think I Could Beat Mike Tyson", and "Wild Wild West" should've gotten a mention, oh hell even "Men In Black", "Will 2K", and "Freakin' It" are better than some of those corny songs on there. Lol... I don't know about freaking it... but Will 2K and MIB I agree are better than some of these songs.

This list is almost as bad as the "best hip hop songs" list.

And what bothers me the most is that no one is talking about it. The buzz doesn't seem to be there... The singles numbers imply that it's a big hit but the album sales numbers say that it's not quite as big as we think... especially the sales positions around the world. Perhaps this is because Switch is just the first single and people need more singles to digest before they make the full commitment to buy the album... but whatever the case, here's hoping that Tell Me Why really does bolster sales as much as we hope... because in a month... the album can possibly be selling in the teens and would really need a boost.

Yo... there are so many things wrong with that list, it's ridiculous. For starters... Summertime should be somewhere in the top 10. I'm not even going to get into this...
