Lol, holla at Al Gore... People often make fun of the notion that he "invented" the internet, but he did push a lot of legislation in support of it during the early days when other congressmen and senators were saying that it was a waste of money to develop.

Internal issues. Cassell and Spreewell didn't bring it this year and the team just didn't gel. Kevin Garnett was crying about how badly the team was doing in an interview around all star weekend. When I say crying... I mean tears.

35 is ok... Switch is doing great all over the world though. It's spins are still increasing... Switch should be milked as much as possible... From the looks of things, it's definitely helping album sales... Sales only went down 11 spots this week, which really doesn't matter, because Switch seems to be more important than Lost and Found at the moment. Then Tell Me Why can be released when Lost and Found is out of the top 50... There should be no need for concern as long as Switch is doing well. Note the sarcasm...

Lost and Found has sold more than 686, 086 Copies

Lol Frenetic... I feel you, but it's all good. I'm sure things will turn out for the best. I was in a bit of a bad mood, just got home from school haha. Now but this isn't good. #35 isn't even near good. Well... Switch is being milked for now. It's doing well all over the world... Lets let it keep going for another month or so and see what happens. Lost and Found may keep dropping, but at least Switch would have done well since we all know that Switch is the track that embodies what Lost and Found is all about. Switch seems to be what's important right now. Lost and Found will take care of itself later right.... :poke: -

I still can't believe Mos is still losing this poll.

Sorry... I was referring to the charts...

Well lets hope he hits the US with that cold water soon or else you guys in Europe won't be seeing any of it until July........... July...

Good enough i think..Did you really expected more? Yeah... we actually did expect more. The album is pure fire, and as hard as people may try to deny that, they're only kidding themselves. I'm not talking about the album going 9 times plat like BWS... But at least 1 times plat is reasonable. It still has the chance to go plat... but that's looking more and more unlikely as album sales fall and as Switch is being "milked." Incidentally... I'm not sure if you guys have looked at those numbers I posted a few posts back. Lost and Found has dropped about 11 spots...
-
Yea that's right but unfortunately the album isn't doing so well... What to do? Wait? :confused3: Lets say we wait 3 more weeks for Switch to be totally milked... What are we milking it for? Lost and Found sales?

The drop isn't big... but its placement on the charts isn't a welcome sight. -
It's interesting to note that the same thing Will has been criticized and hated on in the past for is the same thing that some people want him to go back to doing...

The question is "where is it rising?" It's not rising in the US by any significant measure anymore. All this milking of Switch doesn't seem to be helping album sales either. :speechless:

you cant release a new single when the current single hasnt run its course.. if you released tell me why radio stations would just play switch and wouldnt bother about tell me why Switch may not have run it's course worldwide... but it has pretty much done so in the US. Regardless of increased radio spins, it's already started it's fall in the charts. It peaked about 3 weeks ago in the US. We have to remember the time delay for singles releases. What is released in the US will take a few weeks to find it's way to other countries. Switch has been on the US charts for about 11 weeks, on the UK charts for 7, and on the Austrailian charts for 8. It just got released in Germany last week. If a new single is released immediately when Switch starts to drop in other countries... you're still not going to see the next release on the charts in those countries for about another 3 weeks to a month. In that case, more time than desired would have passed between the descent of one single, and the ascent of another. Also, I maintain that Tell Me Why should have no effect on Switch's spins. The two songs are radically different in nature. I also don't think that Switch would ultimately hurt Tell Me Why's spins. There'll have to come a time when Switch starts to lose spins and Tell Me Why should be there to take it's spins immediately rather than working it's way up when Switch has lost most of it's airplay. There is no reason that radio can't fit both singles into their lineups. They've certainly found ways to do it with Jay-Z, Ja Rule, 50, Destiny's Child, Beyonce, Ciara, Omarion, Maria Carey, Nelly and many others.

that's alright Max, cuz i never saw this one and i'm pretty sure nobody posted it or we'd have already been complaining that L&F is #23 which is no one has done yet until now and it's also what i'm about to do now... damn, u know i called it last week that L&F and Switch had gone down and that it would've been the perfect time 2 release Tell Me Why. i dunno if Will's gonna get it or not. i mean, let's face it, there's a pretty slim chance that L&F is gonna get back in the top 20 next week, even if Tell Me Why is released this week, which it probably won't be cuz it's already Tuesday, so there goes another week that it will probably go down. i don't get why Will can't release it and keep the sales up. i like Ty's idea of Will having a diary where he could just write one or two sentences a week, that's all, and just let us know what's up with things. I hear rumblings of a Switch remix video... I'm surprised that hasn't dropped yet seeing as Tell Me Why should be out in a few weeks... I don't think anyone knows what's going on.

All I want to know is where all the people who bought Willenium went... :poke: :speechless:

oh i voted for jay z, and i have heard rakim's stuff, Jay z does the same what every other rapper u name does, talk about his life, clamin he ain't good enough, whats jay z done that rakim hasnt, became a preisednt of def jam/roc a fella, succesfull clothing line, roc a wear, successfull platnuim albums, part owner of a new york sports team, Jay z is an inspiration to me, and i think a will smith jay z track would be great to hear, just because jay z doesnt spit as much knowledge as LL, Rakim, etc, because he makes his life, all rappers are writing a story to tell us, and hip hop is the greatest forms of story telling ever, whoever u hear in hip hop, somehow and someway they are telling you a story about what happened to them, what happened to a friend, etc, The real question is whether or not you really think Jay deserves to be on the Lost and Found track more than any of the other emcees in this poll. This isn't just a "who would you like Will to do a song with" poll or a "Will should do a song with your favorite rapper" poll. This is a specific track with a specific message. In all honesty, Jay's credibility on the specific subject matter that the Lost and Found track deals with doesn't measure up to that of either Mos Def or Rakim. They just have more credibility on the issue because it's really their genre of specialty. As a result, they both deserve to sound off on the issue that Will addresses on the Lost and Found track more than Jay does. And what's more... if we're going to be honest about it, Jay should be replaced by Nas on this poll with the quickness. Really... LL can be replaced as well. Real talk.

Oops... wasn't aware that they were posted already.

Yepp, agree! But for sho there's more serious stuff in it than funny...! I like it the way it is tho'! Awesome album... :kool: Some may hate me for this but i think the funny Stuff was much better than that deep stuff! cause in funny stuf he was the best i think. But in the other stuf he isnt such as good as others..When i need deap things i have better options. I don't know about that. It seems that the deep stuff is what really conveys how Will is thinks about certain issues. Miami and Gettin Jiggy Wit It were good tracks, but we didn't learn too much about Will in the process. The light tracks are the watered down and commercialized. The deep, heavy, introspective tracks are where we see Will at his best.

Hmmmm... are you sure the one I posted isn't the one for this week. The singles charts seem updated. Last week, Switch's single sales were at #17 and the week before, they were at #12. The chart, seemingly for this week, has Switch at #17, but says that it was at #17 last week as well, not at #12. It also says Switch has been on the charts for 11 weeks, and I specifically remember that last week, the chart said Switch had been out for 10 weeks... The issue date of the singles chart is May 14th, the same as the album charts... Switch was in the top 20 last week. This week, it's number 23... Seems that the charts from last week and this week are different, so I assume that it's been updated.

Issue Date: May 14th

That doesn't make any sense. You're going to have to explain that one.

Haha. I'll keep the option open. Lol. Thanks E - Style-Greesy - E.
