Seal, without giving away too much, how was the CGI? I'm not going to ask about the ending because it's almost impossible to not give stuff away.

There was a bad review, so it became 5 good ones out of 7. 5/7 is 71%. 1 Review drove the rating down that much simply because there are so few reviews so far. Since then, the movie has gotten 2 more good reviews for 7 good reviews out of 9... 7/9 is 78%. The movies is at 78% right now. Lol, calm down. I can't D, I can't. Yeah, I think people are reacting far too quickly to some of these reviews. We get a bad review and it's the end of the world, we get a good review and it's "Oh, ok, it's a great movie." Another important thing to note is that many of these reviewers have already read the book prior to seeing the film. We should wait for more people who haven't read the book in order to get a more accurate measure. I have a feeling that people who didn't read the book will end up saying something similar to the reveiwer above... I believe that people's bias in favor of the book will undoubtedly affect their view of the movie... I mean, we've already gotten a review in which someone said that they went into the movie fully ready and wanting to dislike it, but didn't.

As much as I want to see it, and as good as I think it will be, I refuse to help it during opening weekend, lol. Perhaps sometime during the week. I'm definitely seeing I am Legend in Imax more than once.

So guys, do you see why I said that some of those criticisms in the article that Mr. K posted seemed illigitimate? Again, here's what that review said. And here are a few of the other reviews... That's a shocking disparity in perception. I know that people's tastes are often different, but the disparity certainly lends to the notion that the first reviewer was somewhat biased.

That's an incredible review. It's amazing how divergent some of the reviews are; one says he was a poor choice for the part and that he wasn't credible as a military scientist, and a few seem to say that his performance was incredible... the person I'm quoting went as far as saying "It’s perhaps Smith’s most glorious performance of his career and worthy of some sort of recognition." I somehow doubt that, but still... wow.
