Hey everyone... this may be a little last minute, but we were thinking about recording a podcast today at 2:30pm EST. We have a bunch of stuff to talk about: Pursuit of Happyness: reactions, favorite scenes, acting, sales numbers, awards Media Appearances: Letterman, Leno, Today Show, 106 & Park, Moving Image Award Upcoming Movies: Rumors about Bad Boys 3, Tonight He Comes, I am Legend and others I'm sure I'm forgetting a few things, but if anyone wants to join, let us know...

Why of why did they include that! that was completely silly :3-laugh3: Plot device and drama I guess. Many people I've talked to about the movie liked the fact that they added that. It sort of reinforces the idea that Gardner had it bad, but it also serves as lighthearted moments to break up a lot of the despair and emotion in the picture. People laughed when I went to see it... A nice laugh in the midst of tears I say.

A lot of internships are unpaid positions... I think there was something else as well... If Gardner wasn't selected, he wasn't allowed to work as a stock broker anywhere else, or something of that nature.

I thought everyone knew this... This was one of the things that was covered in one of the interviews before the movie came out where they talked about what was changed for the movie. His son was also a baby at the time. The rubiks cube thing never happened... people's weren't stealing his bone density scanners...

Will isn't done with music yet... not by a long shot.

I think there's still a lot to talk about in regards to Pursuit of Happyness. I don't think we've had a thread to really talk about it indepth because the release was staggered across countries and we were afraid of spoiling it for people... We still need to do a podcast... There really is quite a bit to talk about. It just seems that everyone, for the time being at least, is pretty busy. Movies aren't like music in that there just isn't as much to talk about when a movie comes out. With music, you can speculate on the release of singles, music videos, sales, tours, concerts, collaborations, media appearances, and can complain about poor promotion, bad singles, lack of tours, rumors of releases, sub par sales, etc... With a movie, you have the movie, which we really haven't talked about, appearances... really haven't talked about... awards... and sales... Also, Pursuit of Happyness did so well and came out so smoothly that there was really nothing controversial to talk about, and controversy makes for good, long threads. Incidentally, I don't think that we have as many diehard movie fans here as we have music fans. I often get the feeling that a lot of people don't really care for Will's movies, so that plays a huge part as well.

The third Matrix was horrible, and as a result, the second one was as well... Mr. and Mrs. Smith was good, but there's no certainly that Will would have had the same chemistry with Angelina Jolie that Brad Pitt had... or whoever his wife would have been... Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? Mehhhh... :4-only1ha: @ everyone in Hollywood getting Will's seconds... Next thing you know, there'll be a report saying that Will was approached about staring in Mission Impossible 4, but turned it down, and Tom Cruise was reluctantly given the part again.

The Lakers should do their best to keep Jordan Farmar. They should put up Smush Parker instead. Farmar hasn't had the best season, but it looks like he's going to be a great player, and under J. Kidd's tutelage, he could be the Lakers' point guard of the future. That and the fact that Smush Parker is a 2 guard in a point guard's body... Shoot first, ask questions later... Problem is that he's not Kobe... he's not good enough to do that.

The sad thing is that Will puts out better music in his spare time than Bow Wow does when he's focused on music... :sipread:

Yeah, these are all projects he's been connected to. Tonight he comes seems to be the only one that really solid of all of those.
