Yes, attaching a track to a movie causes more people to actually hear that track and will generally garner interest in that track and ultimately, the album. The drawback is that it would give the perception that Will is just another actor trying to drop a CD, and worse, in connection with his movie. Will would sell more, but the album would come into question, at least initially. With something like Lost and Found, all questions would be dismissed pretty quickly, but with something like Born 2 Reign, Will could come out looking pretty bad. The best practice is to not use any gimicks and let the music speak for itself, unless it's a really good album like Lost and Found. In general though, Will should try to separate movies from music as much as possible.

In the United States, dramas around Christmas time are gold. It really all depends on the sort of buzz the movie gets before its release. As of now, I haven't heard or read a single bad review of this movie, so there's a good chance that it's the movie of the holidays. I know everyone who saw Oprah will go see it. 75% of the women in the crowd had their hands up when they were asked whether they cried. I say about 85 million.

The interviewer seemed quite transfixed on Will's character not being able to have orgasms. "Yeah, yeah, everything you just said is nice and all... But really, we all want to know whether the character can have orgasms or not. We don't care what the story is about."

If Will continues to make good movies, I'd certainly continue to support him. The problem I see with a lot of the posts saying otherwise is that I can't believe people didn't realize that Will would eventually hang up the mic, and prepare accordingly. Did people think Will would be rapping at 50? It is inevitable that he is going to put aside music at some point. So were people preparing to jump off the bandwagon as soon as he did or is it that you're angry that there's a possibility he will do so too early?
