I'm not concerned that others don't believe that she makes black music. I don't think she makes real black music either. However, unlike everyone else who made their comments and then backed them up with their reasoning, you first said, "Stupid lady. Bad as well" and then said "Barry White makes black records. That girl is Britney Spears." You were taking pot shots while the rest of us were trying to have a reasonable discussion. That's annoying. The reason I called you out on it is that it didn't contribute anything to the discussion.

It seems that the game magnifies the number of soldiers you have lost after someone attacks you. It's the same way Chief got down to 50 soldiers after I attacked him. S'all good... For me anyway...

Why don't we start with your two comments in this thread. You insulted Beyonce twice, needlessly, and offered no back or reasoning for your comments, all while others were trying to have a reasonable discussion concerning the merits of the article in question. That's annoying. This is the caught in the middle forum... It's been a place for news and banter for quite some time. You can go back to the very last thread available for this forum and comb up to the present... nothing is different, and nothing had changed in terms of the sort of threads that have been and are being created. The fact that something doesn't interest you doesn't mean that it isn't valuable information or conversation for someone else. It's one thing to complain about something for which you are working to improve, but you're complaining about something that you haven't done anything to improve and aren't contributing positively to. If you're concerned about the types of threads that are being created, start creating more interesting threads. The problem may not be everyone else... Also, even though you are aware that some of your opinions and comments may be controversial, they still manage to find a way to be typed out and posted. Surely, you must have realized that the two comments you posted in this thread didn't add to the discourse and could be somewhat controversial. Yeah, I remember watching a special about soldiers in Iraq, and during one of the transitions, maybe from commercial to the special, they played "Soldier" and I couldn't help but think... "I wonder whether they've heard the whole song..."

Yeah, I agree with you 100% Cookie... it's like they're just waiting for her to mess up. It's kinda grimey, but I guess it's expected considering how big she's become. I see her comment the same way that you and Ted see it. She's sort of trying to make a point about her music... that she keeps it real or whatever... I wish they had included the interviewer's question though. There must have been something that prompted he comment... This is kinda funny considering the stuff that's been going on with TO... I'm on a basketball forum and people are bashing him, jumping to conclusions, calling is hospitalization a stunt... Celebrities really do have it hard sometimes.

I somehow doubt that he tried to commit suicide. It seems that the police may have rushed to judgement because of the celebrity status of Owens.

I'm not the biggest fan of Beyonce, but unless certain parts of that interview are missing, she really didn't say anything wrong or offensive and it seem her comments have been blown way out of proportion. She said that she makes "black records;" she did not say that she "only makes records for black people." It's obvious that her comments have been misconstrued. What's even more laughable is the way in which the article seems to hint that the 70% drop in sales has something to do with her comments. This is the first time most of you, if not all of you, have even heard this, and most of us stay current in the happenings of the music business: how likely is it that the sales of her record dropped because tens of thousands of people heard about this and decided not to buy her record, and we're only hearing about this now?

How long is the wait for the update? Seems like almost everyone is ready to start over. And when we do start over, can we go back to the previous version of the game. We had banks and transfers...
