I agree... How does this game finish Tim?

Do you set it up, tape it, laugh, and then put it on the internet? Lol, I'm not for the kid being taken away from his parents, and call the kid a baby or whatever, but he looked genuinely terrified... Not just scared.

Well the charge is risk of injury. The child could have injured himself in his response to what he saw... Also, I'm almost certain that the kid's father was aware of what was going to happen. Even if he didn't pull up the website, he was aware that the face and the scream would pop up and scare the child, but what if the child had injured himself?

Nothing I said is really an illogical assumption. The father of the kid was taping him crying and laughing at him. If you did't know what was going to happen, wouldn't you have jumped a little to at the sound of the scream and your kid fallen out of a chair... Would you have keeped taping, laughed at him, and followed him around the room as he cried? All that leads me to believe that the father knew what was going to happen. Remember, little children are frightened and scared easily because they are very trusting. Kids believe in monsters under the bed, they're afraid of the dark, and they believe that ghosts can get them... A grown person would probably jump and then just laugh it off... A child's reaction is going to be radically different, as we've seen here... You can't tell me that the father was taping this and didn't know what was going to appear on the screen, and that he didn't necessarily know that the prank was a bad idea.

We know that the father of this kid set all of this up. He was taping the kid for goodness sakes... So lets say he didn't know how the child would react... When the kid jumped out of his seat and almost died of a heart attack, the father was still taping and laughing while his kid was crying. So lets say he had a moment of weekness and the situation was too funny to not laugh at... He put the trauma on the internet. This is the defiition of a sadist... Poor kid thought he was playing a game only to have his father embarrass him and then put it on the internet for people to see and keep on their hard drives?

I didn't say I wasn't laughing... I was laughing hard, but you can't help but feel bad for the kid when you stop laughing. I replayed the thing about 8 times, then I read this...

I feel so bad for him... This kid's father is horrible. You could hear him laughing while taping it... And then he put it up online... :shakehead:

There's a lot of power at the top, and a lot of people aren't really playing. The game would be more competitive in my opinion if more people were active in the game. Should we all reset and start over?

Yeah, I think we've said that we can't find specific instructions for this version. In fact, I think everyone is going off of the tips, hints, and instructions for the stuff they can find. Also, just because something doesn't work the way your expect it to doesn't mean it's a glitch. There must be an explanation.

I posted some links to pages that had tip and guidelines for playing... Chief responded with a "thank you" or something like that. I took it for granted that he looked the those pages, but now something tells me he didn't and I'm not quite sure what he was saying thank you for...

Chief, I'm telling you that at the time I ran the recon on you, you had 263,297 in gold lying around. How much harder would it have been for me to have simply attacked rather than spy on you? I knew how much you had... I can see it without the recon... I just wanted to see if you were selling anything off to buy anything.

I could have taken the 180 or whatever you had prior, but again, mercy.

That's actually a good question. I've searched, but as Tim mentioned, the people who created the game have vanished... Perhaps they never wrote up instructions for this version.

The instructions are definitely not exact, but most of them are applicable to the version that we're playing.

Please... I was online for about an hour and a half before you came on... I saw your stash. You had 263,297 Gold at 8:24 this morning when I ran a recon on you. That could have easily been an attack.

How would this change the way you go about the game though? The instructions have said that players can manipulate their rankings to stay below the radar through they have strong armies... Rank is pretty much an ego thing, but not much more.

:ohdear: I mean, it wasn't an inspirational song, nor was it uplifting... Compared to this, Eminem deserved to win his oscar... I mean, 3-6 mafia? Are you kidding me...
