  1. I'm still trying to figure out how Mariah and Kanye West "lost big"... They both won 3 grammys a piece... U2 won 5 grammys... John Legend won 3 grammys as well. It seems like they all had pretty good nights... No one "lost big."
  2. Sounds like people are happy that Kanye and Mariah didn't win too many awards.
  3. Glad to see John Legend win a few awards.
  4. If MIB 3 is made, I'm pretty sure that everyone involved will make a concerted effort to create a great movie. I'm sure that everyone who would be involved in an MIB3 project would be fully cognizant of MIIB's shortcomings and I doubt that they'd make the same mistakes again. I'm not too worried.
  5. Thing is, he's said it before... When was this suit filed? Is it only recently?
  6. Na, see... they can't be messing with my girl Julie... If you need me to fly over there and handle some of these kids, I can call my travel agent. I'm sure I can get Brakes and Jonny and we can do some damage.
  7. I checked the website... That's a gang? Lol, where I'm from, that's a chess club... checkers even...
  8. I've thought hard, but I can't really think of any... I'll have to get back to you...
  9. Is anyone else watching? It's been a beautiful service so far.
  10. I think it's best that we continue to allow guests to view the forum, though I do believe that their access should be limited, just as it is right now. People who are interested in the site get a chance to see the quality of the posts and the posters before making a decision to register. Hopefully, this attracts those who are up for intelligent discussion and repels those who would be better off posting in Lorettaville. Also, people are curious... I'm sure we get a lot of people who aren't necessarily big fans of Will or Jeff, but who are interested in seeing what's going on and who could become bigger fans if they hang around here long enough.
  11. Wasn't there a rumor that Will wanted to do a third one and he and Tommy Lee were developing ideas for a script?
  12. Happy Birthday man!!!!!! :2thumbs: :Party_fest09: :Party_fest09: :Party_fest09: :gettinjiggywitit: :gettinjiggywitit:
  13. This is the first person I've found who doesn't like it. I mean... back in high school, you'd be over a friend's house chillin, playing video games, and he'd have his own mix playing... Meth, DMX, Busta's Extinction Level Event... and then somehow, Daf Punk found it's way in and comes on, and he's like... 'Yeah, yeah!! Turn that joint up son. Turn that joint up!! That joint's fiya yo!!" And you're like, man, another one... Why do people like this thing? Thank you Julie... At least now I know it's not some cult thing... There are people who don't like it.
  14. There is a long list of copyright infractions a person would be guilty of if they made the video available to the public. Also, it would be exceptionally grimey for that to be done from this site... That being said, you can buy the concert DVD from any of the following links. It's definitely worth the buy. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000E15RH...8-0194250?n=130 http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?...3A4096%3A186381 http://www.samsclub.com/eclub/main_shoppin...-40409%3A933072
  15. There were a couple of good ones yesterday evening... Google's provided them online for those who didn't get a chance to see them. http://video.google.com/superbowl.html
  16. This is exactly what it is. The context makes it pretty clear.
  17. This has actually troubled me for years... I'm guessing most of you have heard Daf Punk's "One More Time (Celebrate)." It's been out for a while. My question: why is it so addictive? I was overseas the first time I heard it, and a few friends and I were watching french MTV trying to understand what they were saying... and then the music video comes on. All of us were like, "Yo, this joint's on point." None of us can really explain why we liked it then, and we still can't do so now. Does anyone have the inside track on the song... Does anyone else like it... I haven't run into too many people who have even heard of it.
  18. I have a feeling that Julie is responsible for this...
  19. There's a free problem called handbreak that converts directly from DVD to iPod. Videora is a useful (and free) tool as well. You'll need DVD Decrypter to rip the .vobs to your harddrive, and then you'll be able to use videora to encode the video to a format suitable for iPods... I think they're still using some funky version on mpeg4. This is why I simply got a Zen Vision. Mpeg4 directly to the device... it's a thing of beauty...
  20. [cough]Bagger Vance...[/cough] I'm just trying to lighten the mood...
  21. I'd agree with Ted's synopsis of the two. Getting even deeper into it, I think hip hop should be held to a higher standard than rap. A lot of things are called rap but aren't really hip hop. 50, Mike Jones and others rap... but they aren't hip hop. Hip hop is a purer form of the art; it's about the expression, not the money; it's about the message being conveyed, not the rims and the ice of the messenger. I don't want to go too far with this, but it's almost as if Lost is rap and Found is hip hop. I try to be really careful about what I refer to as hip hop. It's hard to explain, but if you want a definition of hip hop, rent Brown Sugar.
