Empire, by Michael Mann. Exactly. Hopefully that happens, and the Spielberg movie. The more he works with the likes of Spielberg, Mann, the bigger and better (epic) his movies will be. I just think that the biggest star in Hollywood should work with the biggest directors, a lot more.

Will I love ya but you won't ever have an epic movie under your belt if you keep working with bad scripts and directors. A script from the guy who wrote never back down ? Really ? Wow. If you want an epic movie work with epic writers, directors.

Actually Ty, they went 10 games without Yao. My bad, you're right. Still, 12 games without him and a 12 game winning streak is still pretty sick.

Houston's winning record was amazing, too bad it had to end. 22 games without Yao Ming, now that's a pretty huge accomplishment. The West is really sick this year, 2 games could be the difference between the #1 seed and #8 seed.

I'm really getting annoyed with this. Will is always the bright spot of a movie and delivers amazing performances but somehow the movie doesn't do him justice. I really thought the review would be like Iamlegend, you know lopsided, but the dude was fairly objective and he was eager to watch Hancock, he didn't go in with prejudices. He also gave Will mad props and I don't think he hated drama, he just felt it didn't make sense. I can imagine that. That's why I'd love Will to work with good directors with good scripts at least. He usually has to work with medicore directors with medicore scripts. I'm still seeing this nonetheless, but I'm quite depressed after reading that. I had some high hopes for this. And I think the guy can't be wrong, it's like IAL, the first review said the ending was pretty bad, we didn't believe it. But the consensus really ripped it apart. I think this guy knows what he's talking about. Dayum :shakehead:

Am I the only one who's bothered by the way they presented that article ? They were defensive and perhaps correct but somehow they left out a major part of the article in which it was implied he was a scientologist by a ''source'' from an msnbc article within their own article. YET, they added a couple other quotes from Will about Scientology that had nothing to do with the main article from other sources (which one of them ironically is msnbc), it is as if they are trying to imply he is a Scientologist and offend him by using his own words against him. It felt like ''hey we didn't say he was, but look the man is basically admitting he is'' type of article.

That's great news. Finally Will speaks out. This will shut up the haters.

How cool would it be if there was like a celebrity boxing game or something. That would be so cool. Will fought as ALI and even against Tyson, don't get better than that. Eminem, 50, Dre, lil bow wow..and all the other dissers remind me of school. Some kid acts all tough and calls names but he always does it in front of the teachers, as soon as the teachers gone and nobody is there to record it, they all chicken out and run home. Will Smith mano a mano against these gangsta rappers would be fun..not so much for the gansta rappers though.

If this is true in the least bit, I've lost all respect I have for Dre. And it's so funny that these ''gangsta'' rappers keep dissing Will for being soft meanwhile if they had to fight 1 on 1 Will would b!tchslap them back to their ghetto, and with ghetto I mean their momma's basement. Sherlock homegirl (you'll get this if you know FPOBA well) solved THE mystery. Indeed, she really fits the bill. It was ok and fun up until the MTV thing but at the end with the MTV thing I closed it. It got so annoying,creepy and scary.

I prefer to wait for March 18 (hah on my birthday) to get the IAL BR edition. Don't want to spoilt it this way. Sad it had to hit the web so early. Hope it won't affect it's DVD/BR sales. When I read the topic title I thought they didn't want Will Smith for the role lol. But the article just says that the movie is delayed. And about the Will Smith as Bobby Seale rumor, that's not a rumor, duhh. Journalism at its finest. Will himself said it's basically a done deal, he just needed to read the specifics. So he'll play Bobby Seale once the movie starts filming.

I agree with Tim. Rapping about ''cumming'' has nothing to do with creative freedom. It's trash, period. Opinions are to be respected only when they make sense, otherwise it's trash for me. Listening to paris hilton talk about politics would be a good example. Eminem curses too, but at least he's using the profanity in a creative form, I respect him.I'm not against cursing in songs but they have to have substance, like Will dropping the F bomb with TMW, it's perfect. Like Tim said, this kid is a poor poor poor man's 0.50 cent. I have more respect for Bow wow then I have for Will's nephew, and that should say a lot. Paris Hilton is trash for me, I'm sorry to say but this kid is on that same level. Would he be where he's at without the support of Will ? I really don't think so. It's cool that Will is helping out, but I'd prefer him to invest in true artists like the young mos def's, commons of todays world. Maybe Will doesn't like his music, perhaps he's helping him out because of his troubled background, and maybe he wants to keep him off the streets by letting him spend time making music, I can respect that. I seriously don't believe Will supports his music.

I personally don't think this post was really necessary. I don't think anyone complained about not buying the DVD because of the price.
