You can't imagine how happy this made me. Zizou is one of my favorite players ever to see him with Will is great.

After watching it a second time, I'm giving it a 8/10. When I first saw it I would have graded it 7/10, but this is one movie you enjoy more with the 2nd time you see it. Lots of small details that you start noticing and enjoying more. If only the ending would have matched the 2/3rd of the movie, this would be a 10/10 for me, classic. I'm patiently waiting for the DVD announcement. There's a lot of talk about an alternate ending being added to the DVD version.

There is a member at RT that wrote this in reply of the ADL article which I really liked and sums up my thought. It's nice to see the ADL's acceptance of Smith's "clarification," but in all honesty, only fools, and zealots would need clarification. His comments were quite clear, and whether one agrees with the actual comments or not, we can all be certain that they were taken out of context. What I find a little disturbing is that the ADL seems more concerned with Smith's condemnation of Hitler than the fact that what he said was been grossly mischaracterized. They seem to have left out a few parts of his response, and in doing so, made is seem as if the statements he made were unclear, letting those who unfairly mischaracterized his statements off the proverbial hook. "It is an awful and disgusting lie... It speaks to the dangerous power of an ignorant person with a pen. I am incensed and infuriated to have to respond to such ludicrous misinterpretation." At least Smith didn't. Ouch. You stalking me, Ty? But yeah... reading the ADL's remark left a bad taste in my mouth... It came off almost like... "Alright guys, we can all go home now... Will Smith finally admitted that Hitler was evil." "Sir, I believe his comments were taken out of context. Shouldn't we acknowledge that was well?" "Nah, that's too much work." Exactly.

I would have to disagree. Calling Beckham as one of the greatest sportsmen of all time would be a pretty big and false statement. He's a decent soccer player, but one of the greatest sportsmen ever ? I think you're stretching it a bit. If it was not for his looks and marketing he would be nothing more than let's say Juninho. And even than I'd take Juninho over Becks as he has more to offer than just set pieces.

Have you read the other topic ''Hitler: ''Will Smith is a good actor'' ? That one is gold. I really kinda hated RT but lately they really show Will a lot of love, with IAL, and now with this. It's pretty nice.

What does David have to do with this? He's a very nice guy and I'm sure Tom is too. Or now we have to tell Will who his friends must be? Come on, please.. :shakehead: Personal opinion, everyone has 'em. That doesn't mean I'm right, and I'm probably wrong. And no, it doesn't mean we have to tell Will who to be friends with, again, it is just my personal opinion. That is the way I think and feel. You might disagree with it. Plus, David and Tom almost always attract bad publicity. I have never known Will for that, and ever since those 2 came along the bad publicity Will is getting increased. As I said, for all I know those 2 are great friends to be with, which I'm sure they are. I haven't met them so I won't know though.

You know what though... while I do partly wish that he would keep quiet on controversial topics given the reason you stated, it's really not a good enough reason. People are bound to take the things he says the wrong way, and I wouldn't be surprised to find that some people purposefully do so. Shying away from topics like that may be the most expedient thing for his career, but he shouldn't be forced to keep quiet on things simply because a few ignorant people choose to take his comments out of context. What if people start taking his comments on his religious beliefs out of context (which has already happened), or his comments on his marriage (which has already happended)... After awhile, Will will only be able to talk about "Summertime", "I, Robot" and the current album or movie he's promoting... and even then, I, Robot may be a sticky subject for a lot of people... Lol. Freedom of speech, yeah right. If I had to choose between a Will Smith who doesn't talk about controversial stuff and keeps his career going or a Will Smith who speaks his mind and could potentially end his career by the media, I'd choose the latter. While we're on the subject, I still believe Will sometimes chooses extreme examples to justify his thoughts. He really talked to much about Tom and Scientology, he even went as far as saying 80% of it is the same as in the Bible, right or wrong that is such an easy bait to throw at the media, or about his sex life saying on Oprah and other channels that he has an open marriage, sometimes he chooses bad examples which lead to a lot of speculation, he could have avoided a lot of that. He can still talk about religion or his sexual life, but without saying that scientology is almost the same as the bible or saying I have an open marriage. There's a lot more to say than that without giving the media any bait. I really really dislike his relationship with Tom cruise and that soccer player David Beckham. I wish he would hang out with guys like Denzel or Pitt for that matter. It's just a hunch and I could be wrong but I just feel that the relationship with Tom is having a negative effect on Will's interviews and his view of thinking. He never used to talk about Scientology and since a couple years that's all I hear, Tom this Tom that Scientology this S that. I'm definately not judging Tom or anything, from all I know he could be a great guy, which he probably is.

Their reputation lol, isn't the JDL regarded as an extremist terrorist organization by the CIA & FBI as well as the ADL ? I've heard something like that. Still want an apology though. lol I don't know if you've read the topic at Rottentomatoes, some guys actually mailed the JDL and got responses LOL.

I'm blaming Will. Even though he hasn't said anything wrong, and is 100% correct, he shouldn't have talked about controversial stuff (politics, scientology, religion) in the media when you know the consequences. And I hope he doesn't talk about it ever again. The media has been waiting from day 1 to bite on Will's words.

It just baffles me to see how humans think, if at all. With all that is going on lately with the media and Will, makes me think about his future movie Empire. How easy it is to manipulate mindless people that can't make up what they read. How easy it is to sell lies. I'm actually more pissed with the readers then I am with the writers. Take back what ? The truth ? You want him to take back something he hasn't said ? If there is 1 person who needs to apologize and take back everything it's those darn journalists and their unethical approach to journalism. You can't give the news a headline that has no truth to it, you just can't.

I am probably going to say the same as Big Willie. But nobody said that the person that killed was a good person. Everyone is saying that IF he was programmed right, had a better guidance in life, those innocent people might still be alive today. That's also what Will is saying. We all know that killing innocent people = BAD. But even bad people didn't born bad, they became BAD. Do you understand that ?

willreign, i'm sorry dude but you're acting a bit paranoia and unrational. You keep writing the same things we all agree on. Everyone in this topic explained it very clear for you but you seem to have a problem understanding it IMO. Let's take 9/11 for example, Bin Laden thought that was the ''good/right'' thing to do, in his mind killing innocent people was a good thing, because he believed in a sick way of thinking, his mind was twisted. But we all know he's bad, we all know that was horrible and wrong. Same with Hitler, same with the Virginia Tech killer, he thought it was ''good'', we don't. And about the re-programming, he's right. If Bin Laden would have had a healthy childhood and good parenting ''programming'' he wouldn't have turned out like the evil person he is now. Same goes for Hitler. You are being a bit unfair to Will and like those so called ''journalists'' you are taking Will's comments out of context and taking it to other subjects.
