Well reviewers aren't always right but the quality of a movie is determined by them, so essentially they are the most objective voice as can get. There are still a bunch of critics full of prejudices but overall they are often right. Hey I like the Bad Boys series, I liked II even though critics hated it. When it comes to action movies I rarely listen to critics because they view the movie from an artistic POV, I watch it for entertainment value. But when I watch a drama that's supposedly made from an artistic POV I'll watch it from an artistic POV too and that's when I value critics a lot. Like in this thread, a lot of members go ''I never listen to the critics or critics are always wrong yada yada'' but honestly how many of us say that because of denial ? Because we can't take criticism targeted at our boy Will ? Bad taste in movies is another reason. How many of us would have replied the same way had the critics liked it a lot ? Yeah, thought so. About Will, he made this choice. Nobody forced him into it, it's his prime, remember ? So either he learns from his mistakes and grows as an actor (not just by acting but picking the right scripts and working with good directors) or he keeps making one mediocre movie after another.

No movie next year is plenty of time for another album. Such a shame.

No offense but usually when you have a good all-around movie you're more likely to be nominated. Brad Pitt's movie is excellent, perhaps the best movie of the year. Which automatically makes Pitt a lock. Will, I mean no matter how good his performance, he'll never win an oscar as long as the movie doesn't hold up to those standards. I haven't seen SP yet so it might be one of the best movies of the year. Though I don't believe that's going to happen, for quite some time, if ever. I don't see SP getting a great overall score, it'll be at around 60%. I'll be seeing it soon just to support FP but I'm not holding my breath. Not for the movie, just for Wills recent choice of movies. Here's hoping Will starts to pick his projects a little bit better.

D@mn at some of the comments lol claiming he's a manufacture or that they'd want to punch him. Some people got serious issues, especially when you hate on a 10 year old kid. Jaden has the potential to be bigger than his dad. But it all depends on how he handles himself when he grows up. He's the smartest, funniest and coolest 10 year old kid I've ever seen. I just pray he won't end up like all those other kid stars that are popular during their childhood and than fall off the cliff. Having Will and Jada as your parents will help Jaden a lot, especially during those tough times. And d@mn can he dance, WOW. I totally would've never imagined that from Will and Jada, Will was the king of dumb dancing lol and Jaden is like the anti-Will when it comes to dancing, so cool and smooth. Will needs to do another album and a music video and put Jaden as his cute little dancer, he's 10x better than most professional kid dancers.

Does Will really need to work with a music label ? I mean does he ''financially'' really need them ? Music is his life, his dream no matter how many times he says otherwise. I mean he has crazy amounts of money, I'd just wish he'd spend some of it and went out with a bang, making a album with Jeff and collabing with the best of the best to create the ultimate hip hop album, if there's 1 dude who is capable of that it's Will. This is one thing that pisses me off that Will isn't even bothering.

Dope song by Common. That was a nice reference to Will's I Am Legend movie. I'm looking forward to getting the album when it drops. Is it true that his new album will cost less than a buck ? If that's really true I'm getting at least 10.

Common is the MAN. One of my fav artists and one of the very few I regularly go out and support by buying his albums. I've read in a mag that he's going to sell his new album ''Universal mind control'' for less than 1 dollar ? 99cents to be exact. How true is that ? Anyways this song is PRETTY TIGHT, one of the best songs I've heard these past couple of years easily. A legend like Will...Common tells it like it is.

I hear you guys about the complaints, BUT i'd much rather see Will & Spielberg do Oldboy instead of Vin Diesel & Justin Lin. I mean wether Will and Spielberg do it or not, they are going to remake oldboy. Oldboy is indeed a masterpiece, plus the concept of the movie wouldn't work for the masses. It's really insanely dark and depressing, though I could see Will portraying that role beautifully, but it wouldn't sell. The ending makes the movie. I hope they'll pass on this project and I hope they'll do another one.

How many european countries currently have black leaders, and how many were built and thrived on the slave trade or slavery in general? That's not really the point, if a country had one till now or not. It's just about if the country would be suprised or not, which ya'll obiviously are. I'm not trying to hate tho. I'm happy he won, I hope he keeps up to his words. That's exactly the point. You just missed it or can't/won't see it. I'm sure if Holland got a black leader quite some dutch people would be surprised too. Plus I don't see many in here or in general being surprised about Obama being elected.At least not the majority, that's why they voted for Obama in the first place. America spoke loud and clear. There is no surprise (in the majority) just happyness and joy and how huge it is that the worlds most powerful leader for the first time ever is not white. If you can't comprehend how huge that alone is, you shouldn't even bother.

Where do we start... I'm extremely happy of joy, I didn't cry or shed a tear, but the hair on my skin got up and I got chills. This isn't just about electing a president, it's truly about the start of a dream, the dream MLK and the likes shared many years ago. It's truly about unity, being one, love instead of hate, peace instead of fights. I hope this is a big step in that direction and I hope it continues. The world needs to come together.

If Will wants that oscar, he better produce some A grade movies. The path he is on won't get him an oscar, the sooner he realises that the better. Otherwise, he's wasting his talent.
