Another track - "Curry Cicken":

Some of my favorite Hip Hop albums this year (no order): Still waiting for the albums of Ghostface and J. Cole tho (both ordered but not received yet) - both could have a chance to be mentioned here! Biggest disappointment of the year was the new Wu-Tang Clan album! The first album for 2015 I have really high expectations on is "B4.DA.$$" by Joey Bada$$... 4 tracks out, all killer no filler!

That's the problem with most sequels in my opinion... they are totally different to the "original" ones and that's not what people expecting when they think of a "GOAT 2" or a "Marshall Mathers LP 2" (same problem there although Em had some references in his lyrics)! Like I said before, Raekwon did a good job on "Only Built For Cuban Linx 2" for example but most sequels aren't even close to the first release! I think most rappers use the name of their classic to gain some attention for more commercial success... otherwise it would be unnecessary to drop a second part if the sound has nothing to do with the first! I'm curious if Game can come up with something that legitimates the title "Documentary 2" in January...

Nope... can't remember! The question is why? Just because I criticized him MUSICALLY? Like I said, it's not personal, I don't even know him - like you don't know me, but you attack me PERSONALLY! That's fine with me 'cause I allow people to have their own opinion. He posts his music official and for all people, on youtube and even on some celebrity twitter pages, so he should be able to deal with some criticism... I'd have to deal with it too if I'd post some music of my own (in fact, I know that I'm not very talented). It seems to me that most people in here don't say anything before they say something negative. I didn't read ONE comment about any of the tracks... is that only because everyone already know how good they are? Do you want to tell me he is a great MC if you're honest with yourself? The good thing is, he seems to have great self-confidence, but MUSICALLY (and just musically) he's not very talented! So if you want to attack me 'cause I posted a negative comment about his music which he shared official and by his own will, then go ahead. Even the biggest and most successful musicians have to deal with criticism... ;)
-
Seriously... why are you rapping? Don't take it personal but i can see no talent at all... you are mumbling so hard, if you wouldn't post the lyrics to your songs I couldn't understand about 50%... plus there is no flow in any of the songs, sounds like you're reading a book or something!

I'm also not a fan of him but he did a great job on that one! -

DJ Quik Says He Was Visited By "Ghost Of 2Pac"
10th Prince replied to bigted's topic in Caught in the Middle
DJ Quik's new album "The Midnight Life" drops tomorrow, i will definitely check that one out... You can stream the full album here: http://www.hotnewhiphop.com/stream-dj-quik-s-lp-the-midnight-life-news.12395.html I didn't listen to the full album by now but I heard some snippets about one or two weeks ago and they sounded really good... didn't like about 3 tracks! Seems like Quik still delivers... his last LP "The Book Of David" was very dope too. -
I like the video, got a dope vibe in it... Still not sure about the song, the verses and the beat are aight... but this hook, not diggin' it at all!

No one listened to that "Mt. Olympus" song? One of the best tracks of the year in my opinion... Anyway, K.R.I.T. just dropped a new Mixtape to bridge the time gap 'til the release of his new LP: Big K.R.I.T. - See Me On Top Vol. 4 Get it here: http://www.livemixtapes.com/mixtapes/30090/big-krit-see-me-on-top-4.html 01. So what do the views tell us about the quality of the music? Didn't get it... I watched it too, so I am one view and I'll bet some of the others feel the same way about the song! In fact I just read some comments on worldstarhh and there are a lot of negative ones too! I really don't know why you deny any type of criticism on your "idol"... do you really think the song is that good? Compared to ANY track on the first GOAT lp it would lose! It's not that I doesn't like LL... I got 5 or 6 of his albums at home but that song is annoying as hell! What do the others think?
-
The video is okay but nothing special to me... the song is horrible, especially the hook made me feel that there's runnin some blood out of my ears! What's LLs intention behind all those auto tune and other voice effects? Doesn't match at all... he also should pick some different beats! I have a baaad feeling about this album... at least he should get a new title, so that nobody compares it to the first one!
-
That's some good news here! What I get from the interview is that they will hit the studio when Will finished his currenct movie and that will be around March or April 2015 and not that an album will be dropping at that time! Anyway, it even would be great if they make some new music together... we will see if they'll come up with a whole album! It's still hard to believe that it's actually happenin'... I have strong doubts 'til I see or hear some results! Let's pray that GOAT 2 will be more "successful" than Authentic then... otherwise it would be a huge disappointment for JJFP! ^^

Mississippi native Big K.R.I.T. will drop his second album "Cadillactica" later this year. The first single is very dope, check it here: He also got several Mixtapes out: K.R.I.T. Wuz Here (2010): http://www.livemixtapes.com/mixtapes/12049/krit_wuz_here.html Return Of 4eva (2011): http://www.livemixtapes.com/mixtapes/13537/big_krit_returnof4eva.html 4eva N A Day (2012): http://www.livemixtapes.com/mixtapes/16042/big-krit-4eva-n-a-day.html King Remembered In Time (2013): http://www.livemixtapes.com/mixtapes/21536/big-krit-king-remembered-in-time.html The first two of them are highly recommended! In 2012 he also dropped his first album "Live From The Underground" which wasn't as great as expected but still a real good album! If you want you can order a limited package of his 4 Mixtapes on Cassette Tape, CD or Vinyl here: https://store.nature-sounds.net/site/shop/underground-edition/

You're right… both of them aren't very innovative but I don't like the autotune in LL's song.

What ya'll think about young NY-rapper Joey Badass? Here's the first single from his debut album "B4.Da.$$", set to drop this fall... Dude is very talented, got a rough old school vibe… he dropped a few Mixtapes and a digital full length called "Summer Knights" - you can check that one here: http://www.livemixtapes.com/download/22392/joey-bada-summer-knights.html I also would recommend his "1999" Mixtape: http://www.livemixtapes.com/mixtapes/17524/joey_bada_1999.html
