Word, I just got Breaking Atoms today as a present. It is CLASSIC. I love it so far, haven't had a chance to listen to it all the way through yet, but everything is dope on it.
I really got into hip hop a lot this year, and expanded my album collection exponentially haha. I mainly spent times discovering older albums than I did buying new ones.
So if my list included older albums, my top five would be:
The Main Ingredient - Pete Rock and Cl
Reflection Eternal Train of Thought - Talib Kweli and Hi Tek
Stakes Is High - De La Soul
Breaking Atoms - Main Source
Soul Survivor II - Pete Rock
