  1. Congratulations dude
  2. Yo, I think that Will is great at both kinds of roles and that he can pull off both as good as anybody. POH is a great example of how he can pull off a serious role, and FPOBA was mainly all comedy. But I like to watch comedys more than dramas, so I like his comedy a little more then his serious stuff.
  3. Dope song Tim! Major props. I use to have this on my old lap top before it broke. This track is amazing, no doubt. Thanks dude!!
  4. Funny stuff... AI is definitely one of my favorite players though. He is definitely a future HOFer.
  5. So Fresh and Pump Me Up are definitely dope. If you are looking for some great hip hop check out A Tribe Called Quest, Pete Rock and CL Smooth, Eric B. and Rakim, Common (Sense), The Roots, Naughty By Nature, KRS One ect.
  6. I guess I would be down for contributing. Someone could use one of my beats. We gotta a lotta talent up in here, so we should definitely use it and make some quality music for this community album.
  7. Very true dude. I agree, the whole thing sucks. NBC just made things worse.
  8. Yo Jazzy Jeff, I am definitely hyped up for The Return of the Magnificent. I know its going to be a classic album. "All I Know" is such a dope song. It is crazy hearing on of my favorite emcees collaborate with my favorite DJ. Like others have already said, I would also like to thank you for being such a huge influence on me. You helped me get into hip hop for the first time when I was younger through listening to your music, and I have loved hip hop ever since. You even inspired to start djing and making beats. I can't wait to see you spin live, because I know that no other DJ can rock a party like you. Also I hope to see a JJFP album sometime soon in the future. Keep doing your thing Jeff. J Bart
  9. Wow. That interview was great. Major props tim.
  10. Nice work on your mix cd Fuq. My favorites include Stressin Destiny, The Reign and Stand Out. You really did a good job dude.

Saw it last night. Wasn't really my type of movie, but it was ok. The fighting scenes were pretty cool but they were very gory. I liked The Shooter a lot more then this movie. I would definitely recommend The Shooter as the movie to see.
  12. Looks like we got a classic on our hands :jazzy:
  13. whoa man, settle down over there......... AJ, sonic is just playing around. You said Willenium has always been number one for me (like someone would say about their girlfriend). Anyways, Willenium is definitely a great album and my favorite solo Will Smith album. It was one of the reasons why got into hip hop and love it. There are so many classic songs on Willenium.
  14. wrong! you can't always take the originators as an indicator for the state of hiphop. where are all the young talented MCs? those who should continue where KRS, JJ, PE stopped? i can't see them. i just see all the bad influence "hip hop" is making right now. Like Jeff said, HipHop is around the world, well thats great but all you hear is bull****. don't tell me that hiphop is alive or whatever or are you happy with the fact that Will doesn't get the respect he deserves? thats just one example, there are many more, just think about it. Dude, if hip hop exists around the world and exists in the uderground, then it STILL exists. Thats all I'm trying to say. There are talented MCs that still do their thing today no matter what how screwed up the main stream is. J Live, Common, Talib Kweli, Lupe, ect. Just because there aren't as many young talented hip hop artists out today doesn't mean that hip hop is dead. Just like the NBA. There aren't as many great young players today as there were in the past. Just because MJ, Bird, Magic, and Kareem are retired and nobody in the NBA has their skill level, doesn't mean that the NBA is dead. Same thing with hip hop. Hip Hop IS alive in my opinion, and if you want to go ahead and let main stream destroy hip hop for you, then go ahead. But I choose to not listen to that BS and listen to real hip hop. Will does get some respect from fans and other hip hop artists. Many videos and articles have been posted on this site with rappers saying they have love for Will. Sure, he might not get the respect that is due, but he still gets some respect. Also, you are forgetting that hip hop is more then just rap. If rap does indeed died because of commercialized rap, then graffiti/breakdancing/djing aren't neccessarily gone. These are my opinions on this bro.
  15. Yo, no matter how crappy the mainstream is right now, hip isn't dead in my opinon. As long as there are real rap artists (KRS One, Nas, ect.), taggers spraying up the subways, dudes making up crazier breakdances moves, and dope DJs throwing mixes and scratches (JJ, Premo), hip hop will not die.
  16. :word: Great place to eat!!
  17. I really like this track. I wasn't sure if it was gonna be good or not, but I think you both did a great job. I like the mixing of the different beats. The 2nd beat was my favorite, nice job.
  18. Very good movie, I liked it a lot especially for a cartoon.
