  1. Of all the talk about who got the hardest diss track, I gotta bring up the hardest diss track ever made, LL's "Jack The Ripper" that ripped Kool Moe Dee:
  2. 50 has shown improvement with his recent music, I agree with that, but I think his ego sorta alienated a lot of people from paying attention to him, it might be too little too late for him musically, he's better off doing business ventures 'cause he's a hustler more than a rapper....
  3. In recent years Nas has had similar problems that LL Cool J has had with production, they both kept it up lyrically but they both need to work with their original producers like Marley Marl again....
  4. Like AJ stated DMX has had past issues but in recent times he's worked to improve himself as a man from those mistakes and clearly his music is much more consistant than Kanye's, I'd put him up there with the legends of hip hop 'cause he brought the underground street edge of hip hop to the mainstream with his first 5 (woulda been 6 straight if "Year Of The Dog...Again" wasn't outsold by a few copies) albums debuting at #1 on the charts, they're all dope hip hop albums, in fact I'd say his worst album "Grand Champ" had enough hot songs on it to say that it's better than Kanye's best album "Late Registration", DMX is like Dennis Rodman, a troubled individual but a proven winner, in fact his one verse he did recently on "Stop The Party" with Busta Rhymes(who also has had many troubles but is a conistant mc) is better than anything I heard from Kanye recently...
  5. "The Black Album" is probably the best Jay-Z album in the last 10 years, I like it better than any "Blueprint" or the other albums, it's on the level of "Reasonable Doubt" and "Hard Knock Life" which is when he was on top of his game.... Nas is on the level of all the greats like LL, Fresh Prince, KRS, Rakim, etc. when it comes to consistancy, every album is dope....Like I said earlier I play Game's "The Red Room" mixtape more than any album that came out this year, industry politics seem to be holding his album back it seems, to me he's probably the best mc that came out in the last 5 years.... I still haven't gotten to that Big Boi album yet but I liked what I heard from the internet...
  6. Believe it or not, as much as I'm not a fan of Jay-Z' post 2000 music on the most part I like the "Blueprint 2" album, that's actually one of his better albums in the last decade to me, "The Watcher 2" is one of the best collabs ever
  7. Dr. Dre feat. Mary J. Blige and Rel "The Message", there needs to be songs like this on Detox: http://fwww.youtube.com/watch?v=ox08JlPo9w0
  8. Jay-Z is the one who basically drops one hot album every 10 years it seems, his best albums came out in the '90s and even Nas' so called worst album "Nastradamus" is an underrated dope album, Jay-Z' only more popular 'cause he hires popular producers but I find a lot of his lyrics repetitive and boring compared to Nas and the other legends of the game, even his so called popular lyrics are from Biggie, "How many Biggie lyrics gonna come out yo fat lip?"
  9. Game's actually proving he's the bigger man and doing G-Unit a favor here, G-Unit has been irrelevant when it comes to music, Game has done a great job making more quality music, "LAX" is one of the best albums in the last few years and his "Red Room" mixtape is better than most albums that dropped this year
  10. DMX just said F Jay-Z at a concert the other day, that's another rapper that's also more consistant than Jay-Z, once DMX gets his legal issues together he'll be back on top again
  11. Game's a good battle rapper but the rest of G-Unit suck at battling, that's why they should beef less as well, they're not punchline rappers
  12. Yeah Visqo it's you were mentioning in the MC Hammer/Jay-Z post about how Jigga don't want to man up and battle other rappers for the throne and his so-called most famous battle he got "ethered", don't get me wrong Jigga could make good records when he's up to it but he don't back himself up enough to be considered the greatest, if he's such a great battle rapper he should make strong diss records to prove it....
  13. 50 got too much of an ego to squash beef but you can't front that G-Unit could make good music if they choose not to beef with other rappers
  14. I think Game has matured over the years and realised that beefing is childish, if G-Unit got back together in their original form and just focused on making better music then hip hop would be in a better shape, we need unity not beef
  15. Jay-Z is a weak battle rapper, sure he might sell more albums but Nas is leaps and bounds above him
  16. West Coast rapper Game has shared his reaction to Lloyd Banks' assumptions of why he wants to reunite with G-Unit and bury their past beef. Despite Banks saying Game's intentions were to only better himself, the rapper promised his ego and selfishness were both diminished. "I saw what he said & it is what it is.. but I kno da REAL @lloydbanks , a kool n!gga.. who loyalty is wit 50 so I respect it. @50cent was a kool n*gga 2 but sh!t changes sometimes, I was put in a position & I chose 2 ride wit what I BELIEVED IN, don't REGRET SH*T !! TRUST and BELIEVE that @50cent @tonyyayo & @lloydbanks felt my WRATH when it was ON !!! If they say any different it aint REAL !!! But that sh!t was 2005 & now we comin up on 2011....... I'm GROWN, EGO out the doe & I'm 100% gone keep it REAL with YALL & MYSELF !!!" (Rap Radar) The rapper also considered the ultimate outcome of a reunion not taking place. "G-unit reunion might not EVER HAPPEN but NOBODY will EVER be able 2 say "GAME" didnt MAN UP when he had 2 & GO HARD when it was MY TIME !!! I KILLED A BRAND, A CLOTHING LINE & WENT AGAINST MY OWN RECORD LABEL & STILL WENT 5 TIMES PLATINUM !!! More FAMILY orientated now.... Got a woman, 3 beautiful kids... couple houses.. drove EVERY car & been around the world 5 times..."NOT BAD FOR A COMPTON N*GGA" & #ONMYMAMA G-UNIT will NEVER be the same unless its: @50cent @thegame @tonyyayo @youngbuckmarley & @lloydbanks ! #evenCurtisKNOWdat. & you can "RUN & TELL THAT, HOMEBOY & we'll see who's WHO & what's WHAT after the R.E.D. album drop." (Rap Radar) Last week, Banks said he did not feel Game's reunion pleas were genuine. "I always catch wind of what's going on and somebody brought my attention to it, I saw it on Twitter but I don't really got too much negative to say about the situation because I've dedicated so much time to myself, to get somebody else attention due to negativity but what I can say is we did that dance already," Banks said in an interview with radio host Suava. "We did that dance where we formed the group G-Unit to establish ourselves as solo artists and I think it's time for us to pay 50 [Cent] back. It's reverse now. I'm out here trying to better myself as an individual so that when we do form the monster known as the group G-Unit, it'll be that much easier on us. So, if anything, that situation would be going backwards. It's too late to cry over spilled milk. I would be interested to see if those same attempts to reach out to 50 Cent would be happening if he had a number one record on the radio." (Hot 105.5) Over the summer, Tony Yayo imagined what he would do if Game came back to the team. "You know what I think would be cool if Game comes back," Yayo asked XXL Mag staff during a live UStream broadcast. "I'd set him up and smoke him on the tour bus or something. Or throw him off the tour bus or run him over with the tour bus or poison his food, or, I don't know, something. I want him to get back so I can set him up...I don't see nobody I had beef with. We're running around doing our thing and they're running around doing nothing. I don't want to be friends with Game. I don't want to be friends with that guy. That guy's bi-polar. He's gonna say 'F*ck G-Unit' tomorrow. He's crying one day saying, 'Oh, hip-hop,' then he said, 'Oh, I want to be with the Unit,' then he said, 'I don't want beef with n*ggas,' then 'F*ck Yayo.' I don't got time for that man." (XXL Mag) Game was kicked out of G-Unit in March 2005 due to differences with 50 Cent.
  17. Shaq's no joke on the mic, not bad at all for one of the greatest NBA players
  18. JJFP Feat. Slick Rick and Biz Markie "So Fresh"
  19. MC Hammer "Somethin For The OG" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YuuR0RC1b8
  20. Why can't they release the song that MJ did with JJFP during the Willenium time period?
  21. I'm with AJ here, I'll probably give it a listen online but that's about it, I'm just about done with Kanye, his career's and attitude's nothing but a gimmick, I rather spend my hard earned cash on the Public Enemy box set rather than another average at best Kanye CD 'cause when somebody like Chuck D says "F Bush" they back it up with intelligence but Kanye don't
  22. It gets me mad when people say that MC Hammer defending from what Jay-Z said is gimmick but yet they back Kanye for making ignorant comments, these so called hip hop heads need to straight their act out
  23. Simmons: 'Kanye Has No Need To Apologise' Hip-hop mogul RUSSELL SIMMONS has urged KANYE WEST not to change his ways following his disastrous interview on U.S. TV last week (ends12Nov10), encouraging him to "keep on" in an open letter to the embattled star. The Stronger hitmaker sat down with Today presenter Matt Lauer last week (begs08Nov10) in an effort to publicly reply to disparaging comments made against him by former U.S. leader George W. Bush, who branded the moment West called him a racist on live TV as the "most disgusting" period of his presidency. But the chat didn't go as planned and West accused Lauer of trying to manipulate his answers during the uncomfortable interview, which the hip-hop star claimed left him feeling "alone, used and tortured". The controversy has prompted many critics to take aim at West's behaviour, but Simmons insists the rapper has "no need to apologise" because he was simply expressing his feelings as best he knew how. In the heartfelt note, posted on GlobalGrind.com, Simmons maintains West was simply voicing a shared sense of abandonment in the African American community when he blasted Bush as a racist during a telethon for the victims of 2005's Hurricane Katrina. He writes, "When you spoke about President Bush during the Katrina telethon, it was not the particulars of your words that mattered, it was the essence of a feeling of the insensitivity towards our communities that many of us have felt for far too long. "It was the image of the President, our President... peering out the window of an airplane, as the people on the ground were drowning, that hurt us the most. For centuries, our people have relentlessly tread water (sic) as hard as they could to stay afloat, and here we were, literally drowning, and it felt like the President was insensitive. "There is no need to apologise, Kanye. You spoke from your heart and that is all we will ever ask from you. Don't be afraid of the press, as your art is your blueprint... Keep on, Kanye. Keep on. We love you. We cherish you. And we will always have your back."
  24. well the main thing is the fresh prince still records, i hope something special drops for the 25th anniversary of JJFP in 2011
