  1. Yeah people are gonna buy it no matter what but I'm hoping this is more like "The Chronic" as far as quality goes which was musical genious, since then on the most part his music has been hit or miss, "2001" had some cool songs but I thought it lacked some substance that made him a classic artist, btw at this rate Will's next album will probably be released before this album comes out 'cause I think it's more of fantasy than reality with Dre these days since I don't think he's motivated enough anymore
  2. Jazzy's done as much/more producing compared to the top producers in the history of hip hop, it's been a pretty good balance between DJ'ing and producing the way it stands now, I can't wait for "The Magnificent 3" to drop
  3. Yeah Dre's been working on this album since 2002, the way he's built up this album it's either gonna be hip hop's version of "Thriller" or a flop
  4. I still think Busta has a lot left in him, I thought "Back On My B.S." had some good songs on it but the production wasn't as strong as "The Big Bang"... I think he's one of the few creative rappers left in the game, he could throw up on record and it'd sound better than most of the trash out these days, yeah he doesn't seem to be that great of a person but he's a great talent though, I call him the Tiger Woods of hip hop
  5. I think Nate Dogg's still recovering from the stroke he had a couple years ago
  6. Biz Markie "Make The Music With Your Mouth Biz"
  7. Biz Markie's a legend should be mentioned among the great MCs, he has his own unique style
  8. http://www.sohh.com/2010/04/busta_rhymes_reportedly_checks_out_chemo.html Busta Rhymes has reportedly changed the title of his upcoming solo album, The Chemo. According to producer Swizz Beatz, the project may have undergone a name change. "I think Busta changed the title from The Chemo but I swear to you, this album is crazy," Beatz promised in an interview. "It's not, no, no, no, it's crazy. I was impressed, I'm not even gonna lie. I went into the studio expecting to hear something else and I heard something else, back to back." (Rap-Up TV) Last month, R&B singer Robin Thicke said he was recruited by Busta to appear on the album. "I did a record with Busta for his new album," Thicke said in an interview. "We went in the studio and Busta and I worked together. Busta is very top secret--NASA, CIA, don't tell nobody nothing, don't play nobody nothing, so I probably shouldn't have even said that. He's probably sending somebody here right now to beat me up." (Rap-Up) The rapper has been keeping fans updated on the LP's status via his popular Twitter page. "RT @THEREALSWIZZZ: The Iron Man song is done much love to Busta for taking it to the next level hit him up and (cont)http://tl.gd/ompb5," he wrote yesterday. "@Cappadonna Where u at sis???I need u in the studio now...." (Busta Rhymes' Twitter) He recently explained his motivation for naming the album Chemo. "I called the album The Chemo because it seems like the industry and music overall is dying slowly," Busta explained in an interview. "The cancer that's stricken the business is killing the music, not only from a business standpoint, but also the value of the content and the creativity behind it. I just want to start the first stage of chemotherapy treatment that needs to take place and hopefully inspire others to do their part and contribute to different stages of the cure." (Billboard)
  9. Big Daddy Kane "I'll Take You There" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VUNLNt7wqoA
  10. This is some BS that Jazzy wasn't mentioned among the great producers here by Vibe http://vibe.com/hiphopproducer
  11. Yeah it's skeptical what to believe from Dre, he should just release the album already and stop playing these games with the fans, and it should also be mentioned that Ice Cube got better chemistry with Dr. Dre than Jay-Z does
  12. Well that clears it up, I'm hyped to hear that Dr. Dre/Ice Cube collab
  13. 50 Cent Feat. Eminem "Patiently Waiting"
  14. Age shouldn't have nothing to do with it but the reality really is that a lot of these younger mcs are garbage and couldn't hold a mic compared the veterans who are keeping hip hop alive... Also the truth is all the real hip hop is under the radar, for instance Will's "Lost & Found" album was probably one of the last veteran hip hop albums to go gold and that's now over 5 years ago and Lupe Fiasco's one of the last young talented mcs to have airplay in recent years but there's a lot more good music out there within that time period it's just not popular, blame the record labels for promoting wack music over substance...
  15. Ice Cube is breathing life back into a dying rap game, obviously the journalist is overhyping it but there's nothing wrong with a real lyrical battle to bring something interesting back 'cause I'm getting kinda bored myself with the way things been going in these recent times, thank god that these real mcs like Ice Cube and KRS are still in the game dropping knowledge
  16. Yeah R.Kelly's a musical genious, what a talent he is: Rakim "The Saga Begins"
  17. Ice Cube would eat Eminem alive in a battle, he's the king of gangsta rap, btw the verse he spit on that "Drink The Koolaid" is jaw dropping, you don't wanna get him mad: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qFjWz8gYtF8
  18. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! This is the end of an era, I guess I'll have to start cheering for the Redskins, the Eagles front office really blew it, as a fan I'm disgusted
  19. Pursuit of Happyness was good, a little sappy in some parts, but overall it was one of Will's best. If it not your kinda of film, thought, then your not gonna like it. I like Pursuit Of Happyness too, I agree that it's one of Will's best films
  20. Hey I wanted to make sure to wish a Happy Easter to my extended family, the JJFP.com online community, enjoy this one with your family, peace
