  1. Happy Birthday Jim, enjoy it man!!!
  2. That's some great stuff right there, Quincy is the GOAT of music producers, there's another Charlie Rose interview that he did recently, check this one: http://www.charlierose.com/view/interview/9804
  3. Eminem been showing lately that he still got some skills which is something a lot of rappers in the game been lacking so I give him some props for trying to take it to another level but it's kinda sad to see him waste it doing tracks about pop stars, like AJ & TopDawg mentioned that's what takes some of his credability away
  4. Happy B-Day and much props to the multitalented Da Brakes
  5. Both JJFP and Eric B. & Rakim took hip hop to another level so it's a tough decision, there's no losers here
  6. Here's a couple more: Eric B. & Rakim Pete Rock & CL Smooth
  7. This is gonna be really really really a tough choice between Will and Rakim
  8. That's a tough argument there 'cause Pac's one of my favorite mcs ever as well... Now I think that Quincy Jones is arguably the greatest producer of all time in music history,he's worked with the greatest artists in all music genres, he's a music genius... really the thing that could settle the argument is that he produced the greatest album in music history in "Thriller"...
  9. true ,better for me then Elvis..... but i dont know who made it , its like : Bob Marley for reggae The Beatles for rock James Brown for funk MJ for pop Louis Armstrong for jazz Sam Cooke or Otis for soul johnny cash for country +Marvin Gaye ,Ray, Bob Dylan (maybe best lyrics)Little Richard,Freddie Mercury,Aretha Franklin... for me the final battle will be James and Sam :) but i dont know and i dont care more than that ;) You broke it down there, I'm feeling that list, and of course when it comes to hip hop Chuck D is the most powerful voice, he disses the government yet congress put some Public Enemy albums in their library, now that's what I call power
  10. Michael Jackson "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough", I'm watching the "Michael Jackson Number Ones" DVD right now
  11. Mary J. Blige Feat. Busta Rhymes "Work That'
  12. This is a great find, damn I miss Soul Train
  13. Well I think that "Exit 13" is a great album but I definately agree that it'd been even better if he had a better production team work on it to compliment his talent, I thought he was really hitting it hard lyrically, he sounded hungry on the album, I heard that he was working on a track with DJ Premiere about the time that the album was about to come out but that never came out, I remember when he did "10" there was talk out there he was gonna reunite with Rick Rubin as well but that never happened either
  14. Big Daddy Kane "Long Live The Kane"(Track/CD)
