  1. I say when y'all post "Tell Me Why" on your myspace, leave a link for email to the hip-hop stations like Hot 97 and Power 105, if we could get a few thousand people to email them it might be able to get on the airwaves, let's fight the power!!! :pony: I think Tim should put links to some radio stations and Overbrook entertainment on the JJFP.com homepage that way everyone that visits the site could email them and demand for them to release "Tell Me Why" we could start a movement!!
  2. how many people listen to the podcasts, a few thousand? that's basically the only amount of people that'll pay attention to our promotion anyway, we don't own a radio station or a tv outlet, it's gonna be a minimal impact, a lot of them probably have the album already too... the main thing is to get people to listen to will, even if they don't buy the albums, we just wanna expose them to some quality hip-hop...
  3. unless any of us have a radio station or a tv program, we won't be able to reach that many people, probably only few thousand at the most, it's like when independent artists post stuff online, they only reach a handful of people, there's so many sites, it's not like 1 million people are gonna come visit your myspace especially if you ain't a celebrity but you could get 1 million people listening to the radio, face it "lost and found" won't go anything past shipping platinum unless interscope does something or will does an interview on mtv talking in depth about "lost and found" again that'll get repeated on there over and over but i don't think hell froze over yet, the media controls the sales of the industry, the stuff that gets pushed the most sold the most on the most part, i definately think our word of mouth definately helped sell a few thousand albums over these months though...besides a lot of these people online bought the album already, i've seen nothing but love for "lost and found" on these music forums, but i dunno maybe it'll have them buy it again, maybe we should buy it again too :kekeke: i hardly see anybody give praise to eminem, bow wow, or 50 cent online, most of their fans never go online and that's the fanbase that needs "lost and found" in their life but it's impossible to reach them... i tried to figure out how eminem's "encore" sold 5 million when i see so many people on forums trashing it but then i see his videos on TV all the time, most of the people who buy the albums ain't really fans, they're just bandwagon people who just buy the albums that get advertised so they'll look cool but they don't wanna register to post on that artist's forum though, only the hardcore fans do and em's hardcore fans from his forum also said that will got em hard on "mr. nice guy" just like bow wow's hardcore fans said that will got bow wow hard in that comment he made...
  4. at least Eminem writes his rhymes and knows how to freestyle, he actually has skills to diss people and still have a fanbase but that lil' pup is complete garbage, "Encore"'s more lyrical than Bow Wow's catalog which tells you how talentless this pup is, Eminem's trash album got Grammy nominated but none of Bow Wow's albums ever did, lol, the only thing saving Bow Wow is Ciara, his album was tanking before the bubblegum duet with her came out but even she probably likes Will more than him so she'll even be breakin' up with him soon, he's one of the biggest jokes to ever happen to rap... Will wrote his 1st rhyme before Bow Wow was born and Bow Wow just wrote his 1st song last year, lol...
  5. :word: we should promote more than just "tell me why", if we spread quite a few songs out there, it'll get people interested in the album again...
  6. You don't remember that Will responded to Eminem years ago? He originally said in an interview that he wouldn't pay any attention to Em 'cause his career'll end in 5 years, he made a joke about him too I think while he was laughing Em off, he didn't really take that diss seriously 'cause Em disses everybody but it was the fans and the media who'd poke at Will from what Em said and Will needed to respond to them more than Em 5 years later they were still talking about Eminem so it was time for Will to make a song about it not to start beef with Em but to put the criticism of being a soft rapper to rest just 'cause he's sparred Em's career people shouldn't think he's soft, he also referred others like Wendy Williams and Larry Elder who called Will soft 'cause he wanted to send them and everybody a message, obviously Bow Wow didn't wanna hear it, if "Mr. Nice Guy" got heavy airplay on the radio Bow Wow wouldn't diss Will, somebody needs to buy this lil' punk a copy of "Lost and Found", if he heard it he wouldn't open his mouth 'cause it's better than anything he could dream of having his ghostwriters come up for him, lol... "Mr. Nice Guy" was more than anything for his image, no matter how much money or fame an mc has they have to protect their rep, this is hip-hop, you can't let somebody smash your pride, for Will to mention Em in his song shows that he respects his career 'cause if Em lost his fame in those 5 years, Will wouldn't consider responding... I don't see Will doing a song about Bow Wow either unless Bow Wow makes something significant, but I hope that it motivates Will to comeback recording more often so none of these kiddies coming up'll consider dissin' Will's mc skills... Basically that statement in that interview is similar to what he said about Eminem in an interview years ago, I don't think this'll go any further, Bow Wow's gonna fall off now so we won't see Will making songs about the lil' pup, doing bubblegum songs won't be able to have a long career, you could see too the overwhelming response favoring Will's statements but when Will laughed off Eminem the response was sorta divided, there was a lot of people who defended Eminem 'cause they respect his skills, basically Bow Wow only has lil' girls drooling over him but the average hip-hop head pays his skills no mind, there's a difference, Eminem is Rakim compared to Bow Wow...Will respects Eminem though 'cause he writes his rhymes and he dropped a couple classic albums no matter how much you hate, despite all of his gimmicks in recent years his freestyle skills keeps his career alive, but what has Bow Wow done to win Will's respect? Even 50 Cent writes his rhymes and dropped some classic mixtapes, Bow Wow don't write his rhymes and nothing he's done is memorable...

  8. There wasn't really an apology though, that lil' pup basically said: "Me and Will are cool now but I think his music sucks, if you go back and read my comments I was saying his music is bubblegum, not his movies, I talk about more pimp stuff than that pansy'll ever talk about, the ladies think I'm sexier, don't compare my music to his, I'm so much better, btw I respect him though..." :hmm: The reason why people don't diss Nas and LL is 'cause they don't delay in responding to their critics, Will's a nice guy and ignores critics so people take advantage of that, that's why I hope what he said is true 'cause he needs to speak up more often then nobody'll diss him, no more Mr. Nice Guy suckas!!! btw, Bow Wow's career won't end unless he stops making bubblegum songs for lil' girls to sing along to or some other young face comes to take his place, it was funny to read that his hardcore fans hate him though, 99% of his fans don't exist, just a bunch of bandwagoners, lol...
  9. promoting "mr. nice guy"/"pump ya brakes" is also a good idea, fp could market some sales off of the bow wow beef
  10. There's a lot of people approving what Will said about Bow Wow so I expect Will's sales to increase, he needs to release "Pump Ya Brakes" and clown that fool with Snoop in the video!!!
  11. No More Mr. Nice Guy, hopefully this motivates FP to comeback to being a fulltime mc, he needs to show the world that he's an mc first before an actor so these kiddies'll stop dissin' his mc skills..."Ain't no better man on this hype track, it's the veteran taking the mic back"
  12. Producers Plan To Sue Diddy; Diddy Responds By EbenGregory and Nolan Strong Date: 1/25/2006 5:06 pm A group of super producers that helped forge the sound of Bad Boy Entertainment into a hit factory are planning to a file a lawsuit against Sean "Diddy" Combs, alleging non-payment of publishing royalties. "Any monies owed to anyone are either paid or are in the process of being paid -- and, furthermore, will always be paid,” Combs told AllHipHop.com, refuting the charges. “It doesn't do any good -- and makes no sense at all to not pay people -- what logical sense would it make for a record company of Bad Boy's stature to not pay people?" Producers Clark Kent, Easy Moe Bee, Lord Finesse and others are planning to file the suit against Combs, with some of the producers claiming they haven't seen royalty statements or received payment in upwards of 10 years. Buckwild, Carlos Broady, The Hitmen, Loon, Craig Mack, Angela Winbush and others are among the producers seeking unpaid royalties from Bad Boy Entertainment, according to a press release issued by representatives for Easy Moe Bee. "This is not personal against Puff [Combs]," Lord Finesse told AllHipHop.com. "This is just a royalty and publishing situation. A lot of people didn't get paid." The group of producers are responsible for writing and producing major Bad Boy hits like "Whoa!," "I Love the Dough," "Flava In Ya Ear," "Warning," "Get Down," "I Need a Girl," "Been Around the World," "One More Chance," "Missing You," "Born Again," "Dead Wrong," "Sky's the Limit" and many others. Representatives for Bad Boy Entertainment and Combs did respond to requests for comment at press time
  13. Here's another source from a radio station site, probably the one he was on, enough evidance yet?: :wiggle: As much as some of y'all might not like that Will responded but basically 99% of the people who heard that Will said this is agreeing with those statements and that's not a bad thing, Will killed Bow Wow's career with one line, if Will denies he said this a lot of peeps'll be dissapointed!! http://www.wpxy.com/Detail.aspx?dct=15&mid=272#1416
  14. Will did a great job in his response and even if someone did make it up they did a great job spreading it around the internet, Bow Wow's being humiliated, you gotta love it!! :yeah:

  16. Johnny post a link man I wanna see it!!!!! I think somebody like Vipa should blend together some of Will's lines to haters and make it like the ultimate diss song...
  17. Exactly, Will didn't necessarily diss Bow Wow in that quote either compared to the junk Bow Wow was saying in that AllHipHop Interview, Will handled it with class, I'd said something more harsh than that, Will was just speaking the truth, but that lil' punk said: "Me and Will are cool now but I think his music is bubblegum, not his movies though, I kill him on the mic but in the movies is what he's great at, I respect him for that, but not music, I ain't trying to be put in the same sentence as Will, my music is better.", is that really an apology from Bow Wow? How'd you feel if somebody called you soft for 20 years when you don't start beef with anybody? Wouldn't you feel like answering back? Come on now? No matter how much money or fame somebody has, they always have to protect their pride, they can't just let people walk on them and get away with it: "This is warning shot over the bout, truth be told this ain't my style, there's certain stuff a man can't allow, don't bark yourself up a tree you can't get down, people dissin' Will sat on a wall, people dissin' Will had a great fall, all the kings horses and all the kings men, could never put their career together again" :willvspaparazzi:
  18. Nah, that lil' punk don't deserve any promotion, although maybe if I get me a mic I'll do a freestyle and ether him myself!!! :bat:
  19. "Pump Ya Brakes" is basically a dedication to Bow Wow, it'd be awesome if Snoop and Will did a video for that, that'd Ether Bow Wow's career!!! :pony:
  20. Nick Cannon and Christina Milian broke up months ago, I think he started going with Lindsey Lohan for a while too, now he's with Brandy, he's a playa!! btw, I saw that season 2 of "Wildin' Out" comes out on February 2nd... Why don't the quote sound like Will? It's got that Fresh Prince sense of humor to it!!!
  21. Jay's not finished responding: The two biggest questions rap fans want answered right now are: What does Jay-Z think about Cam'ron coming at him on wax? And now that Nas is on Def Jam, how do God's Son and Hova plan to smash the rap game? First things first — Cam is holding a press conference Wednesday (January 25) in New York to discuss what the streets are calling his "beef" with Hova. As for Killa Cam's "You Got It" dis record (see "Cam'ron Attacks Jay-Z With Dis Track 'You Got It' "), Jay said he's not sure he'll respond with his own dis record. Jigga said he's never had any problems with Cam, though he admits the two never bonded while Cam was on Roc-A-Fella. "My thing is, it's such an obvious ploy for attention and to get people to talk about it and for sell albums," Jay said Tuesday, speaking to MTV News from a company retreat. Even though Jay says he knows Cam's master plan, he's conflicted. On one hand he feels he's too big to stoop to Cam's level, but on the other hand, the MC in him is itching to retort with battle raps. "I'm torn," he admitted. "I feel like I would be stupid to even pay that any attention, because it's such a ploy. ... N---as is holding press conferences behind . The MC in me is like, 'That's too easy ' That's not even a good dis record. That sh-- is trash. I'm torn. We'll see what happens. Maybe on my time we'll deal with it, but I'm not really pressed. I'm inspired by good artistic sh--. Cam's sh-- is not artistic. There's nothing good about it. Everything about it is an obvious ploy to get attention. Nobody wants to get used. You're just using me. Of course he had to go that far." One of the brow-raisers in Cam's song comes at the beginning, when he says part of his disdain for Hov came about because Jay had wronged former partner Dame Dash in their business dealings. Speaking to New York radio station WQHT-FM, Cam also said Dame had tipped him off that Jay would be coming at him during last year's "I Declare War" concert (the show turned out to be all about peace; see "Jay-Z And Nas Put Beef To Sleep In Onstage Show Of Unity"). Jay called Dame's involvement in the equation "shocking" and said he hasn't spoken with his once close friend about Cam and has no plans to. "To be honest with you, that's the most surprising thing," Jay said calmly. "I'm still in shock, to be honest with you." No one was really surprised this week when it was announced that Nas had signed to Def Jam (see "Nas Signs With Jay-Z, According To Report"). The two had been in talks for a while and performed two nights of shows in October. Hov said there probably will not be a Jay and Nas album, but he does expect to do at least a song with Nas. "I'm guessing like September, fall, so we can do it right," Jay said of when he expects Nas' LP to drop. Nas has been recording material for months, but Hov thinks he'll start fresh with his new deal in place. "I didn't hear the stuff he did before, but I'm guessing it'll be a new slate." Jay added that he hopes Nas will connect with some of the best producers in the game, such as Kanye West, DJ Premier, Just Blaze, Dr. Dre, Timbaland and Pharrell Williams, though he hasn't ruled out Nas teaming with some up-and-coming beatmakers. He said his former rival is in such a great headspace, he wouldn't be surprised if Nas made the best album of career. " for so many different levels," he said. "One, he's been at the forefront of hip-hop since he's been out. is arguably one of the best albums ever made. To have that down with the team, it's just a beautiful thing. Two, it says so much about the culture. It shows another way. always portrays us like we're ignorant. It shows another ending. I think it's bigger for the culture." While the Nas album isn't due for several months, Jay is so excited about the albums coming out on Def Jam this year — including Ghostface Killah and LL Cool J — he contemplated dropping an album himself, but he's since rethought it and will continue to play the executive role. And it's a part he's been playing to the fullest. Jay's team is on the brink of adding one or two more major players, but it's too early to name names, he said. http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1521548/2...?headlines=true
  22. That's the point though people think Will's a puss 'cause he ignores when they diss him, he needs to answer them back so they could let the man live without dissin' him, ain't you tired of hearing people constantly diss him?!!! He has the skills and the money to put all these fools out of a record contract but he's been a nice guy trying to let them have a career but I think he should stop doing that, he could make these words become a reality if he wanted to: "I'm a poet so I own the whole rap industry" he needs to come at them hard to teach them a lesson, hopefully this motivates him to get back and do classic albums with Jazzy, start his own label and promote albums the way he wants to, he should get a street team that'll be demanding the black radio stations to play his songs, he needs to dominate the game so these studio gangstas could fall off, ain't you tired of the way hip-hop is now??!!! Will's not a punching bag for every young rapper to come up and take cheap shots at him... That's a cheap ass apology to say "Me and Will talked and we're cool now, btw I was dissin' his music, my music is so much realer than his, I don't wanna be compared to that puss, I listen to G Unit all the time, not him, I like his movies though..." is basically what Bow Wow said didn't he? He sounds like the average G Unit groupie that says that to me all the time... It makes me wanna get a record deal that much harder so I could help kick ass with FP to bring hip-hop with heart back on top!!!... Will could make a change, he's been holding back, hopefully all this criticism by studio gangstas puts movies on the backburner for a lil' while so he could confirm it to the public that he's born to be an mc, not act, they'll be bowing down to him and begging that he sticks with acting after he finishes off their careers!!! Maybe Trey's friends like Bow Wow, who knows why Will'd consider responding, lol?!! Bow Wow's worthless but a bunch of younger rappers might think hey if Will don't respond when this lil' punk disses him let me diss him too but they'll think twice though if he responds back like this .... He responds to his critics in his songs so I don't see the difference in doing it in interview, weren't you callin' Bow Wow a piece of **** in the podcast? Will didn't say that, callin' Bow Wow a piece of **** sounds like something Mike Lowry would say, I didn't see Will use one curse word when he responded in that quote, I don't know if I'd be able to hold off like that, everything he said in there is true, Bow Wow wasn't born when Will cut his first record and his worst movie 'Wild Wild West" is better than anything Bow Wow's every made in film, that lil' dude needs to work on his skills before he could mention somebody's name in an interview like that..
  23. I think that's why Will said "I had the strength to say gangsta rap was wack", it was probably a sublimal diss to MC Ren who said Will was wack 'cause he don't live in the 'hood anymore, a lot of those battles then were to help mcs skills get better, it was competition to help them work harder, but you see 50 Cent and Bow Wow run their mouths without making any good songs...
