  1. i'm waiting on some of the old JJFP heads like Tim, AJ, Brakes, and Jim to still get in on discussion, btw I like Nelly's more recent stuff more than his earlier stuff which was popular but I thought some of the songs like " country grammar" got too much play, i know i go against the grain with some of my selections but this is my list and i'm gonna stick to it, looking forward to more discussion...
  2. well maybe ja rule, eve, nelly, bob, and ludacris aren't underground but let's be real neither is jay z, game, eminem, kendrick lamar, kanye west, and j cole, let's just drop this debate because we all like some mainstream stuff considering we agree we're JJFP fans who are pioneers of mainstream rap...
  3. i like some of your choices but a lot of them are typical to what everyone else picks and you claim that rappers like ll cool j and krs one fell off and wyclef's new album is wack but they all put out classics in this millenium compared to majority of what's out, i also those like kendrick lamar and j cole compared to most today but i still rather listen to will's born to reign more than any of their albums even...
  4. well there have been eminem and nas albums for example that've been on there for years and not taken down then why do people take down will's albums? if it's so illegal then majority of what's on youtube should be taken down....
  5. yeah says the one who thinks joey badass is the next coming of rakim, lol....
  6. well sadly a lot of people today don't respect the history of music so maybe my opinion is in the minority but as a pioneering hip hop artist who respects his craft i'm sure will'd agree with a lot of what i've been saying here, i'm sure gradually he'll come back...as i think about it i might've been too hard on will, i'll just back off and not say nothing i'll regret....
  7. since when is posting music on youtube illegal? listening to albums on youtube leads to people buying physical copies if they like em enough, it's a virtual library
  8. I was browsing music on youtube as usual today and I found this!!!

  10. meghan trainor feat. john legend "like i'm gonna lose you", one of the rare modern songs that's good:
  11. will said that music is life when lost and found was out and 12 years later no album yet, not just that in those 12 years many legends from james brown to george michael have passed on and there have been many non talented artists have been getting fame for the wrong reasons so music has a big void left right now, you figure will'd wanna do something about it since music reflects life like he said...
  12. i know i might have been a little bit harsh by what i said but when lost and found came out will was talking about how music is life and that's it his biggest passion then 12 years later we're waiting for a follow up??? come on now i think what i said is somewhat justified... but yeah as i think about it with 10 albums counting the greatest hits, basically only a handful of legends like ll cool j, nas, and krs one have dropped this much material for the fans to listen to over the decades so i guess he could have a break....
  13. all i gotta say is as one of the biggest JJFP potnas i just can't defend will anymore, he takes his career/life for granted
  14. as a fan of will's u should be the first not to judge an album off a single, the ring is the weakest song on the album there's some creative songs on here
  15. where's the real hip hop heads? i figure y'all would enjoy this treat of an album!
  16. after all this time willennium's finally on youtube!!
  17. I don't consider him one of my favorites but this is a big move for hip hop: http://theweek.com/speedreads/681755/jay-z-become-first-rapper-inducted-into-songwriters-hall-fame
  18. this is such timeless music, shame Will couldn't do a verse on any of the tracks, so soulful.. http://cratesofjr.blogspot.com/2017/02/dj-jazzy-jeff-glenn-lewis-playlist.html
  19. for all those complaining about crap rap music these days needs to check this wyclef album out, it's pure heat!
  20. this is the greatest news to find out on super bowl sunday, JJFP 2017!!! the reason why i've been sticking on this forum, btw can i get the link to the interview???!!!
