Bow Wow speaks on the Will Smith situation
bigted replied to Frenetic's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
I'm frustrated that this punk represents the youth of today, our future in hip-hop is ****ed up if he's the face of it, I wanna beat him so I could be the future of hip-hop!!! :paperbag: btw, why does illsead say Bow Wow made a respectable reply??!! All that junk he talked in that article was disrespectful, he said in one line that everything's cool with him and Will but then the next line he rips Will's music!!! -
Bow Wow speaks on the Will Smith situation
bigted replied to Frenetic's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
Well uneducated kids get us mad that's why we've been posting so much about it, let's just stop talkin' about this loser, Bow Wow can't write a song to save his life so he shut the **** up and not even talk **** in interviews, it's ****ing disgusting how this bitch gets a record deal while a lot of young brothas like me who actually have skills in freestyling and writing can't, exuse my language but I'm pissed off about how he thinks he could run his mouth like he actually matters, Will needs to stop being friendly with losers like lil' puss and 2 cents and just finish them off 'cause they're ruining the rap game, I hope he becomes like Pac and just "Hit 'Em Up" to bring real hip-hop back, being a nice guy ain't working... -

Yeah I bet if Bow Wow said something like that about you, you'd say something worse than what Will said there and in fact you probably did in one of your posts on here, Will handled it with class in my opinion compared the way most of us would, the lil' boy needs schooling and if he looks at the facts he'll see that he's not close to be grossing anywhere near Will's grossed, Will's right to say that his lowest film is more appealing than Bow Wow's best film, and when Will and Jeff was rockin' Union Square Bow Wow wasn't alive yet, Will brought facts to the table, he ethered the lil' puss!! AllHipHop saying a rumor is more legit than most of the sites you get rumors from, basically every rumor they say is true... -
Cassidy Found Guilty Of Manslaughter and Assault
bigted replied to bigted's topic in Caught in the Middle
I'm not really that big of a fan of his but if he puts out a good song I'll listen to it, hopefully he gets his life together... After all 2Pac raped a woman and I listen to his music, DMX gets in all sorts of troubles in the law and I listen to his music too, I'll buy his next album too if it's good music.... -

Well what if it was true, would you be mad? I don't see nothing wrong with what he said, it's justified, what Will said is true, a lot of us fans are saying much harsher stuff than that...Hey now I don't see nothing wrong with Will gettin' back at his critics, when he tries to be a nice guy everyone walks on him, so what do you want Will to say about Bow Wow, you want him to kiss Bow Wow's ass? Why should he? That lil' punk has no respect for hip-hop history... -
I don't think Artest wants to play basketball, he's probably working on a rap album or something :lolsign:

But I don't think he'd waste time to post it on the site if it was fake, most of the rumors on that site are true, this is a reliable source, btw that Nick Cannon's a playa first Christina Millian now Brandy? He got more game than Bow Wow who's with ugly Ciara... -

Hey illsead said that Will responded, it might be legit since he works for AllHipHop.com and named Will man of the year: http://www.allhiphop.com/rumors/?ID=926 "WILL SMITH REPLIES TO BOW WOW! Bow Wow responds to me and now Will responds to Bow Wow! Now, you know Will Smith is my homey! I don’t care if you love that or hate that. At any rate, Will has taken a moment to “son” Bow Wow. Now, I say “son” respectfully, because the age difference could theoretically be that of a father/son. Anyway, Will reportedly said, “A grown man don't answer to no child. I'm a grown ass man. I cut records before his momma let somebody cut to have him. My worst movie grossed almost twice as your best movie. Check the records and read a book young man." WOW. Now, Bow Wow made a respectable reply, but its just time to let it go! " Link To Ill Community??!!! I'm Not Registered... :wiggle: -
I think it'd been a great idea if Will did a remix to "The World's Greatest" with R. Kelly, that's a powerful song that'd been even more powerful if Will spit a verse on it...

It'd be funny if he said though man, that lil' punk deserves it, I don't mind if Will goes out of character to just rip that bitch like that, instead of apologising to Will in that interview he ended up dissin' him more thinkin' that he could do or say whatever he wants to, he needs somebody to slow his ego down, maybe that'll give other young punks an idea before they open their mouth against the legendary FP... :bat: -
Yeah it was originally gonna drop in February but I guess he to add more to it or something, "Control Myself" should be officially coming out soon 'cause I read an article last week saying that him and J-Lo shot the video already, Hot 97 plays it during the mix hours though already, hopefully it goes in regular rotation 'cause I like turnin' on my radio and hearin' LL... At All Hip-Hop.com they mention that LL's gonna be performing at the Essence Music Festival on July 1, 2, 3rd at Houston, Texas, Da Ace and Angel Amor might wanna check out for this since they're in Texas btw, it also mentions that the "Beef" series'll air tonight, Thursday, and Friday night on BET which features some of LL's battles in his career: http://www.allhiphop.com/hiphopnews/?ID=5289 Rap legend LL Cool J has been added to the 2006 Essence Music Festival, which takes place this July. Is it posted in the forums or the sites? People could easily pass a fake statement from one forum to another, that's what happened with the fake "Mr. Nice Guy" lyrics, remember? That'd be sweet if Will responded but I could care less if it was true or not, Bow Wow ain't important, btw did anybody post anything on the Ill Community? I wanna see a link so I could get my laugh on, I figure many'd be dissin' Bow Wow for callin' himself the next LL Cool J... -
Cassidy Found Guilty Of Manslaughter and Assault Charges By Nolan Strong Date: 1/25/2006 5:05 pm Barry “Cassidy” Reese was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter and aggravated assault Tuesday and was sentenced to 11 1/2 to 23 months in prison. The rapper could possibly be out of jail in a few months because of time already served in prison. The rapper has been incarcerated since June. At the non-jury trial, Common Pleas Judge Jane Cutler Greenspan said that rapper was negligent in providing guns to assailants that eventually killed Desmond Hawkins, a 22-year-old Philadelphia man. "You could be a leader in the community," Greenspan said according to the Associated Press. "All those guns - that's why Desmond is gone now, because of all those guns." In court, the rapper expressed remorse for the crime. "It's a tragic situation for me too. I didn't set up for this to happen. Desmond Hawkins was my friend ... one of my closest friends,” he told the judge. The murder trial of Philadelphia rapper Cassidy started on Monday Jan. 24, were the rapper was accused of first-degree murder in relation to an April 2005 slaying. In June, Cassidy was arrested and charged with the murder of Hawkins. Cassidy surrendered to authorities in June of 2005, a week before the release of his sophomore album, I'ma Hustla. Prosecutors claimed the rapper planned the murder by placing four of his associates in positions to attack his rivals. His accusers concur Cassidy was more than prepared - as they said they discovered almost 80 unspent cartridges of various calibers in his home, near the shooting. Prosecutors claimed that Roberto Johnson, an associate of Hawkins, fought with one of Cassidy's associates earlier in the day in front of a Rite-Aid drug store. Seeking retaliation for the altercation earlier in the day, Johnson testified the he, along with Hawkins, Daniel Irvin, 22, and 21-year-old Bobby Hoyle went to Cassidy's home. Johnson testified he was not in the van because he was urinating in a nearby back yard. He heard the gunshots and ducked behind a car. Ballistic evidence recovered at the scene found that 30 shots were fired at the van from an area near Cassidy's home, while 12 shots came from inside the van. Johnson testified that he was unarmed and the he had seen only one gun in the van. He said he sold the weapon after the shooting. Responding to the allegations, Cassidy's lawyer Fortunato Perri. Jr. suggested Johnson may have fired first as he was outside the van. In July of 2005, prosecution witness Joseph Newkirk recanted his statements to police that he witnessed Cassidy firing a gun. In court on Monday, Newkirk alleged police detectives told him what to say. In August, Cassidy's charge was reduced to a third-degree murder charge, but the decision was appealed to a higher court and the first-degree murder charge was reinstated.

Ron Artest is acting like a punk...
-
Thanks for that interview, great stuff, I'm gonna check out his album..

those guys are lucky to have worked with the legendary FP, i don't care if i was on something people said was FP's worst song, i'd still be proud to say that i worked with the legend, that's something they could cherish forever...
-
Well I don't wanna compare him to who's on the charts either, LL's in a league of his own...
-
Yeah if you look at the charts you see all the popular rappers represent an image that FP don't potray in his songs, he might say nice comments about Nelly and 50 Cent but you won't see him rushing to do a song with him 'cause they make songs about guns and hoes on the most part and FP don't, but hey so does Snoop and Luda and he did songs with them, a lot of us give praise to Snoop Dogg but let's be real he's the godfather of the pimp image that 50 Cent and Nelly represent so it's not as much of a stretch to see FP do collabs with some of them out now if they could keep the content non-pimp for the song just like when FP did the "Pump Ya Brakes" song with Snoop, it wasn't a gangsta song, it was a hip-hop club joint, maybe FP would do something like that with them, I see that as a way to bridge the gap between commercial rap and hip-hop artists, instead of them being divided and beefing with each other... But collabs hasn't a top priority for him on the most part of his career but since he came back in the mid-90s he started to do more but we need more collabs with Jazzy instead of everyone else, the one thing that matters most is doing another album with Jazzy, he don't need any other guest appearances on it "Jeff + Prince= Hit Records" .... btw, FP's gonna be doing a compilation album so if you want a lot of guest appearances, check out for that album, I'm a lil' excited about that but I'll be dissapointed if there ain't a JJFP album soon.... btw, I'm still dissapointed about FP not having those songs on the "Bad Boys II" soundtrack, sure the soundtrack sucked, but it'd been better if he released one of the songs he recorded for his own movie as a single, I think they were solo tracks too not collabs, that'd probably had more people anticipating his next's album... I like the way FP does things on the most part, work with ol' school and new school mcs, except he needs to have Jazzy produce more for him, I'm surprised Tim never tried to get JJFP to work with Hieroglyphics since he's a such a fanatic of them, do the hookup man, lol...

I think it'd be interesting to see Will make a rhyme to one of his more serious roles, I'd loved to see him make a tribute song to "Ali", that'd been awesome!!!
-
It's scheduled to come out March 21st
-
Do you think the average commercial fan would actually like it though? I heard a lot of people from the media that reviewed the album said that it sounded like Will bited Jadakiss' "Why", if black radio refuses to play this song, they'll never play Will and're heartless fools...

Bow Wow speaks on the Will Smith situation

Bow Wow can't be reading the Ill Community board if he comes back with that kinda weak response, they ethered him!!! :willvspaparazzi: -
Well so far I'd say that it's too early to tell how the album'll by only hearing 3 tracks, "Todd Smith" doesn't really make that much sense for a title since "G.O.A.T. featuring James T. Smith" and "Mr. Smith", maybe that might be a good sign of a trend though since both of those are classics so maybe this'll be a classic too, but the music matters the most here so onto the music now: "Control Myself" should get a lot of airplay with the youth and maybe even win some ol' school LL fans back 'cause it's an '80s club vibe to it, it's a good first single for marketing, "Whatcha Want" is a raw hip-hop track where LL and Freeway both rip it on the mic, and like Turntable says basically "LL and Santana" was a Juelz Santana song with LL only having a short verse, it's hot though, something that could get a lot of burn on mixtapes, I'm interested to see how that track with Mary J. is, that'll probably be one of the top ones on the album...

Will laughed it off when Eminem dissed him 5 years ago so I don't see him wasting his breath on Bow Wow unless he's still relevant in the public eye 5 years from now and we'll get "Mr. Nice Part II" in 2010, if people are still talking about this Bow Wow-Big Will issue lol, more than likely though Bow Wow'll fade off 'cause Eminem is Rakim compared to Bow Wow, I have doubts that it's true but if it is he said the right thing anyway... -
