  1. I heard the song on Hot 97 last week, it does sound a lot like an updated version of "Going Back To Cali", I can't wait to see the video for it...
  2. Oh ****, not Columbia, they suck, hopefully they don't screw up promoting this album like they did Wyclef's last couple albums there! :shake: Well as long as the album comes out I'll be looking forward to it but I wanna see them do real well again, they're a great group and hopefully this comeback'll be big...
  3. I'm actually kinda nervous about it, I have some doubts, it's getting pushed back so much, I wonder if it'll ever come out, it's been 10 years now since their last album so I wonder if there'll be enough people out there anticipating it and I wonder if they're gonna still have chemistry after not working together for so long...The last few Wyclef albums flopped a lil' bit even though I thought they were pretty good, I was recently browsing albums and I realised Pras released an album last year, I never knew that, it musta really flopped.... :paperbag: I'll be surprised if it comes out this year, are they even signed to a label?....
  4. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- With Russell's help, Shaq, Kobe make peace Associated Press Bill Russell still has a big impact on the NBA. Following the Hall of Famer's advice, Shaquille O'Neal made peace with Kobe Bryant before their Martin Luther King Day game. "I had orders from the great Bill Russell," O'Neal said. "Me and him were talking in Seattle the other day, and he was telling me how rivalries should be. I asked him if he ever disliked anybody he played against, and he told me, `No, never,' and he told me that I should shake Kobe Bryant's hand and let bygones be bygones and bury the hatchet. "Today is a day of peace. Dr. Martin Luther King was an ambassador of peace. So when I talked to Mr. Russell, he told me he said that him and (Wilt) Chamberlain spoke once or twice a week before he passed away. And even though people thought they hated each other, there was nothing but love there." After a series of emotional pregame exchanges, Bryant scored 37 points to help the Los Angeles Lakers beat O'Neal and the Miami Heat 100-92 on Monday night for their sixth victory in seven games. O'Neal had 18 points and 10 rebounds. O'Neal first approached Bryant before the game to congratulate him on his daughter's birth and the impending birth of a second child. Later, the longtime protagonists shook hands, embraced briefly and talked at center court when the team captains and game officials met. They hugged again before the opening tipoff as the fans at Staples Center voiced their approval. "It made me feel good," Bryant said. "We've been through so many wars together. Now, just be able to move on, try to do the best for this team, wish him the best in South Beach. I think it's good for the city of Los Angeles, good for the NBA, good for the youth, being Martin Luther King Day." In other NBA games, it was: San Antonio 93, Memphis 83; the Los Angeles Clippers 102, Utah 93 in overtime; Dallas 114, Milwaukee 95; Detroit 94, Boston 84; Washington 104, Philadelphia 76; Minnesota 96, New York 90; Atlanta 94, Houston 83; Golden State 109, Seattle 93; New Jersey 97, Indiana 92; New Orleans 107, Charlotte 92; and Denver 97, Chicago 94. In Los Angeles, Lamar Odom added 19 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists for the Lakers, and Devean George had 17 points. Dwyane Wade had 34 points and seven assists for Miami, which had its four-game winning streak snapped. The game was the fourth between the teams since the Lakers traded O'Neal to Miami in July 2004. Miami won the previous three, including a 97-92 win on Christmas Day in Miami. O'Neal and Bryant didn't acknowledge each other before or during that game. The two spent eight tumultuous seasons with the Lakers, teaming with current Los Angeles coach Phil Jackson to win three championships. Jackson left the team a month before O'Neal did and took last season off before being rehired in June. The game also marked the return of Pat Riley to Los Angeles for the first time since he returned as coach of the Heat last month. Riley coached the Lakers to four titles in the 1980s.
  5. maybe i could be on the album? :kekeke:
  6. well actually it's only about 6 years since willenium since it came out late '99 and we're early '06, can you believe it's almost a year since "lost and found" dropped and we're still waiting for "tell me why" :mygod: :bat:
  7. Well Will hasn't been known for putting out albums every year since he became a famous movie star but he's taking a break from movies now so we'll be getting more music now, I hope this project with Kel shakes up the hip-hop industry!!..... :yeah: btw, he always records 'cause he got a studio at his crib plus he does work on his laptop when he travels to keep sharpening his skills....

  9. Move this to "Caught In The Middle" so I could delete it... :bat:
  10. Keep in mind that the Pats won 3 of 4 with Brady at the helm. Do you think that Brady would win many playoff games if Bruschi, Mcginist, and Harrison weren't on the team? I think Vinateri also has a lot to do with it, he never chokes kicking in big games, the Buffalo Bills would've won a Super Bowl in the early '90s against the Giants if they had a clutch kicker.... Patriots were a solid team before Brady went there, if Bledsoe stayed healthy that year in 2001, they would've won the Super Bowl still, they went to a Super Bowl back in 1996 and were in the playoffs with Bledsoe quite a few times, they looked like they'd win eventually, they built up to D to be competitive for years... The Eagles would've beat them last year if the D didn't shut down Mcnabb in the 4th quarter, I gotta tip my hat to the defense, those guys deserve more credit than Brady.... btw, let's compare stats between Manning and Brady and you'll see that Brady is less superior than Manning, it's amazing that Manning could lead the Colts to the playoffs so much 'cause they're a one-dimensional team, they need to build on chemistry on D to get over the hump or else Manning'll be another Marino: Manning: SPLIT CMP ATT YDS CMP% YPA LNG TD INT SACK RAT Career 2769 4333 33189 63.9 7.66 86 244 130 156 93.5 Brady: SPLIT CMP ATT YDS CMP% YPA LNG TD INT SACK RAT Career 1577 2548 18035 61.9 7.08 91 123 66 156 88.5
  11. Yeah "All I Need" with Method Man feat. Mary J. is classic, basically any rap song with Mary J. on the hook is great, I'm looking forward to that track featuring her on LL's album, she's the queen of hip-hop soul....
  12. I think the Patriots D basically carried them over the last few years but they're aging now, take Mcginist, Bruschi, and Harrison off the team and they wouldn't win many games in the playoffs, the reason why they lost to the Broncos is 'cause they didn't have Harrison in there to shut down Rod Smith and Ashley Lelie, they could get by average teams like the Jaguars but not great offenses without their great defense at full strength, they'd struggle some if Brady got hurt but I think if they had an average quarterback in there with a D at full strength they'd win quite a few games.... they're the ones that make a good quarterback like him look like Joe Montana, if the Colts had those guys they probably would win 4 straight super bowls, Manning is easily is a better quarterback, Colts just have had bad defense, this year they've improved and are closer to an average D but they looked dissapointing yesterday with their D and they rely on Manning and Colts offense to win and they choked, a 21-18 game is what the Patriots win with since they got a great defense and their offense scores enough, a 35-28 game is the Colts game to win by with Colts offense dominating and Colts defense just getting by.... When the season started, I originally picked the Eagles to play the Panthers in the NFC Championship game so at least I got one team right but I think I actually picked the Jets to play the Colts, with Eagles beating Colts in the super bowl, lol, well the Jets and Eagles both lost QBs that carry their teams and that's why they didn't make playoffs so my picks weren't that much off...
  13. I'm not really surprised about Patriots losing, their dynasty is ending anyway and the Broncos are a great football team, Patriots shouldn't have even made playoffs with all the injuries, they were as banged up with injuries as the Eagles were but they had an easy schedule, playing the Jets twice is like playing the Packers twice, and they didn't lose Brady like Eagles lost Mcnabb.... but it shocked me that the Steelers would win over the Colts, they barely squeaked into the playoffs, if it wasn't for Palmer getting hurt they wouldn't even have made it to the Colts, I didn't see that coming, I thought Colts were gonna run the table like everyone else did, I figured with the loss out of the way... I was thinking if they were 16-0 going into the playoffs they'd run out of gas, they let a golden opportunity slip away, when Bettis fumbled the ball I thought the Colts would score a TD, but damn Vanderjagt is one of the most accurate kickers of all time, a 46-yard field goal is something he usually makes...
  14. Yeah that Steelers/Colts 4th quarter was one of the best 4th quarters ever, that game's an instant classic, Bettis is probably gonna go out on top now with the Colts and Patriots out the way.... Next year when Mcnabb's healthy, Eagles'll go all the way...
  15. Well if you watch sports all day and don't spend time with your lover that could be just as bad as watching porno all day, everything should be done in moderation....
  16. I'm like AJ, I'm not really a big fan of Wu-Tang but I respect their skills, it'd be nice to see them come back and bring the lyricism back to hip-hop in a big way...
  17. But if this was the official site, maybe JJFP would check it more often and could post blogs once in a while with exclusive pics, etc., this site is the top site when it comes to JJFP...
  18. That's the truth right there!! :word: :2thumbs:
  19. I could feel what Damien's saying, watching porno's like drugs and drinkin', if you look at too much of it you'll become addicted and it could hurt a relationship 'cause if you're mind's on sex too much you won't think about trying to get to know somebody, you'll just think about sex, I don't see nothin' wrong with lookin' at it occasionally though as long as it don't interfere with what you have to do...
  20. :mygod: I envy you man, lol, did he give you any details on the project that him and FP are working on?
  21. I'm closing in on 5000 posts :jusmindyabizness:
  22. Homo hip-hop sounds like a gimmick, it'd never be popular 'cause there's too many homophobic people out there, now rappers like Nelly and Ludacris making songs about sex is popular 'cause they're rapping about having sex with women, now if they were rapping about sex with men it wouldn't be popular, it's acceptable for men to have sex with women in society....
  23. Yeah I just noticed that, that's how much I check Jeff's site :willvspaparazzi: But anyways it's kinda wack how they don't update willsmith.com with new photos or anything that Will's been doing lately like maybe he could post a blog in there once in a while, tell some behind the scenes stuff only us fans would know, it seems like whoever did that site gave up on it, that site needs to be taken down, it's a waste of life...
  24. I liked LL's last 2 albums but I think that they weren't as great as "Mama Said Knock You Out"/"Radio"/"Mr. Smith" but not all Jay-Z' albums are as great as "Reasonable Doubt/Blueprint/Black Album" either, it's hard for them to top themselves as it is for others to top them...
