  1. Well Will was a top battle rapper in Philly when he came in the rap game, he has the skills to handle Eminem or any mc in the game if he needs too, I don't think any mc would ever dedicate a whole song dissin' Will, they might just say one or two lines or talk crap about him in an interview but they wouldn't ever wanna step on stage with him in a battle 'cause they know they'd lose, if Eminem brought the limited skills he showed on "Encore" or his limited skills in that battle with Ja Rule.... Will'd destoyed him easily 'cause "Lost and Found" is arguably Will's most lyrical album, Will's getting better with age while Em's slowing down, Em should be thankful that Will's a nice guy though 'cause Will could've easily finished him off, it would've been a tight battle if Will responded in 2000 though 'cause Em was on top of his game then with his 1st 2 albums while Will was on top with his last 2 albums as well, that could've gone down as one of the greatest battles of all-time, but the kids would probably choose Eminem anyway even if he got his ass kicked 'cause he's gangsta, I think Ja Rule was right there with him in that battle, Canibus held his own too, some don't know skills if it hit them, "Mr. Nice Guy"'s probably one of the weakest on "Lost and Found" but it's harder than any song Em's done lately, lol.... Em was worth responding to 5 years ago 'cause he actually had a lot of skills then, I thought he was annoying but he definately was one of the top lyrical cats, I could admit that even though I was never a fan(Stan, lol) of his, he ain't worth responding to now though, Will gave him too much credit, he don't have mad skills now, even his fans think he fell off but they still hang on his balls anyway 'cause he's the top white rapper, it'll take a white gangsta rapper to finish him off in the public eye(like if Vanilla Ice's diss song to Em got on the radio, lol) but he's already irrelevant in most hip-hop circles. Eminem would have trouble battlin' Bow Wow and Britney Spears let alone Will, lol....
  2. I remember all the Eminem Stans going on the Lorettaboard sayin' that Eminem was gonna kick Will's ass  I got sucked into the hype at that time, I really wanted to see Will rip the crap out of Eminem on "Mr. Nice Guy" after that even though Will said he wasn't gonna say much about Eminem, nobody paid attention to that though, I got into the hype too, that's why I was dissapointed it was just a one-liner after all that hype, I didn't care if he turned into Mike Lowrey or Tupac Shakur on that track, in fact I was hoping Michael Jackson would make a surprise appearance on it too after Eminem made fun of him in "Losin' It", a lot more would've bought the album if that happened 'cause the people would be getting what they want, I read quite a few people on forums saying that "Mr. Nice Guy" was a weak diss, a lot probably just downloaded the track and didn't buy the album anyway, so that hype was worthless, it'd been better if he had the radio play "Tell Me Why" on the radio before the album dropped but nearly a year later people didn't hear that track, Will's promotional team sucks, lol.... But Will probably listened to "Encore" and re-did with one line since Em ain't an mc anymore, Em probably can't even make a comeback to one line now, that's why he's retiring.... :willvspaparazzi:
  3. :word: Give us a time, I wanna be here when u do it! :kekeke:
  4. Happy New Years Y'all and Happy Anniversary to Will and Jada btw, is Jazzy Jeff gonna be performing at a club in Philly?
  5. Will don't need hype from controversey to sell "Lost and Found", it's arguably the deepest album he's ever done, he just needed to release the right songs and it would've sold much more, I mean if he had a lot of these deep songs come out as singles, this album would've sold more than 50 Cent, it'd been something refreshing for the airwaves, there's a lot of people that like Will but weren't aware that the album came out 'cause it wasn't promoted well, personally I think performing "Tell Me Why" at Live 8 would've had more impact than Will saying in his interviews that he had "something for Em".... He sold as many albums as Biggie with "Big Willie Style" in '97/98 even when there was all the controversey over Biggie's death, Will's sold over 30 million albums in his career without controversey so why does he need it now? "Why should I try to sound like y'all sound, that's what's wrong with the rap game right now", "Encore" outselling "Lost and Found" doesn't mean Eminem's a better mc than Will either 'cause most of the people who bought "Lost and Found" enjoy it and most who bought "Encore" thinks it sucks, Will's the realest mc 'cause the people who bought his albums were moved by him and that's what a real mc does, even with only a gold plaque to show for "Lost and Found" he could hold his head high that he was able to touch people, record sales ain't a measuring stick for who's the realest, Em probably feels embarassed he put out such a weak album with no subject matter no matter if he got a plaque saying he sold 5 million, lol, he sold out from his style on his earlier albums and that don't make him much real now but if he has a heart he'll change his ways, personally if he don't I don't care, if he does I don't care either 'cause I ain't a fan of Eminem and I never was 'cause I don't think he's real but hey some people don't think Will's real either I guess, at least the ignorant youth like Bow Wow, lol, maybe Will should make a song about him next, lol. "Born To Reign" was weak for Will's standards too but he still had a lot of heart in it unlike "Encore". Shady should just retire so we don't have to hear anything from him anymore, lol, Will should never retire though... I actually don't want Will to say nothin' about Em and Em shouldn't say nothin' about Will, Will should just "Wave 'Em Off", I love that song so much better than "Mr. Nice Guy" now. I don't wanna have to compare Will and Em so much anymore, I just prefer Will over Em, end of story, when 2006 starts I don't feel like getting into details about it like this, I'm getting it out now.... Who knows though maybe that's the only reason why Jimmy Iovine allowed Will to release the album, he probably told Will to mention Eminem in his interviews or else he'll dropped, lol, but with it going gold even when the hype quickly died proved that Will don't need the hype 'cause he got talent and enough out there respect that even if it wasn't promoted that well, Will outsold some that had airplay on BET more often than him, even if Eminem and Will shake hands on stage one day like Nas and Jay-Z did there'll always be some that'll prefer one over the other, like me no matter what I'll always think that Will and Nas are better than Jay-Z and Eminem. It's like the Bulls vs. the Knicks, Will's the one with the Bulls' like dynasty but Eminem's the bitter rival like the Knicks, lol, when the cameras go off them they're cool wit each other probably.... I ain't gonna front, I wanted to see Will turn into 2Pac on one track and just "Hit Em Up", lol, if he cursed they could edit it like "Tell Me Why", for all the crap Em's done to commercial rap, I was a lil' dissapointed when I found out Will only did one line towards him, I was hoping it was gonna be punchline after punchline after punchline like "He's The DJ, I'm The Rapper" or "Uhhh", except with Eminem references, it was too short in my opinion, he's capable of doing more than that if he wanted to, some people thought that it was weak 'cause they wanted to hear a diss song, a lot don't like Eminem and wanted to see him destroyed, lol. Will should've said that "Lost and Found" was for Em, that track's much more powerful if people checked for that one instead, he could've said "Lost is 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, and Eminem", I forgive Will though 'cause he gave us a classic but if this was another "Born To Reign" I'd be pissed. Em deserves to get ripped in my opinion, especially if he's keeps on putting out crap, maybe if he disses LL one day, LL'll come harder. he should be thanking Will that he sparred his dying career, Shady wishes that he could have somebody over 18 years old respect him again, lol....
  6. I think Will said something in one of his interviews that him and Eminem are 2 different artists that have different fans and it's true if you think about it, most Will fans don't like Eminem and Eminem fans don't like Will, different artists, different tastes, it's more the fans and media making this an issue, Will and Em probably don't have no beef with each other though....
  7. :word: This was a dead issue that didn't even had to be brought up by Will in that song and nobody'd talk about it anyway, those people that like Eminem don't like Will anyway and that's not 'cause of "Real Slim Shady" it's just that Will ain't their style, lol, and I agree Will should go after the haters but he does already, remember songs like "Don't Say Nothin'" and "I'm Comin'", he'd address haters in there, he wouldn't name them though, he don't have to either, he got too much class to do that, he could sell a lot of albums without naming anybody, I mean instead of sayin': "Husband, father, dissed by Eminem But did it bother him? Yep But he classy, Big Will wit another 20 mil walk right past E I'm a nice guy why y'all harassing me?" He could've easily said this and it would've made the same point, later on in the song he should've just cut out those lines about Wendy Williams and Larry Elder, he should just "Wave 'Em Off": "Husband, father, dissed by all of them But did it bother him? Yep But he classy, Big Will wit another 20 mil walk right past everybody I'm a nice guy why y'all harassing me?" Now on "Real Slim Shady", Em dissed like 100 people in that song, including a line about himself saying somebody about he'll have to check himself into a mental clinic, even mocking himself in the video, it wasn't a song to be taken seriously as a diss, lol
  8. Will didn't have to mention in his interviews that he had something for Eminem if he wasn't gonna make a song dissin' him, that's what people expect when you say you have something for somebody, well Jay-Z did basically the same thing too when he said he wanted to start a rap war and then doesn't diss anybody, lol.... I don't think Will should've said anything in his interviews, the media took his comments out of context, he said that he did respect Eminem as a talented artist so what's the point of saying that he has something for Eminem?!! He should've just made the "Mr. Nice Guy" song as a warning to the haters and not named anybody, I think it's a nice aggressive track but I don't like thinking about Eminem when I listen to a Will Smith song, they don't deserve free publicity on a legendary mc's album ( also larry elder and wendy williams)....
  9. Deep down Wendy probably wishes that her husband was as successful as Will.... :kekeke:
  10. Since it's the end of the year, I figure we'd look back on Will addressing Eminem on "Mr. Nice Guy"... In a lot of interviews Will said he had something for Eminem, a lot of people were expecting Will to dedicate the whole song to him and a lot questioned why'd he respond 5 years later to just one line Eminem said about him in "Real Slim Shady", and then Will only said one line in "Mr. Nice Guy" of course which I feel wasn't necessary 'cause we all know that Will basically moved on to bigger and better things, Eminem makes fun of everybody anyway so not many take him serious anyway.... Looking back, I actually think that it wasn't necessary for Will to say anything about Em, especially since Em's been irrelevant by most hip-hop fans over the last 5 years, he basically only has a pop fanbase now, Will should've used that time in interviews to talk more in depth about deeper songs on the album than "Mr. Nice Guy" 'cause "Mr. Nice Guy" ain't even one of the top songs on such a deep album, I rarely even listen to that song now, so I vote no....
  11. Well Wendy Williams also said that the only reason why Jada is an A-List actress is 'cause she's the wife of Will Smith
  12. The party never started and we might not even get "Tell Me Why"!!! :stars:
  13. http://www.spinemagazine.com/music/decembe...herapup2005.mp3
  14. Yeah that's Eminem's style to diss everyone, he disses himself too, lol, but anyways I think "Loretta" is a great track....
  15. :word: Is there a way we could email Interscope and Overbrook and tell them we want "Tell Me Why"? :pony:
  16. I ain't overreacting, Eminem told Will himself that he took some of his storytellin' from what Will and Jeff have done...
  17. Maybe Eminem should be on the remix.... just playin' :kekeke: "Loretta" is much better than "Stan" seriously, Eminem bit off storytellin' from Will, the originators of rap don't get the credit they deserve, kids probably think Eminem won the 1st rap grammy, lol...
  18. :word: 50 Cent, everytime he talks or tries to rap he looks like a fool :willvspaparazzi:
  19. :word: This song is genious to say the least, the flow, storytellin' lyrics, beat, easily one of the most powerful tracks on the album :mygod:
  20. Well I see that "Nellyville" only has an average customer rating of 3.5 stars while "Big Willie Style" has 4 stars, the streets have spoken! :yeah:
  21. The reason that "Lost and Found" is doing much better than "Born To Reign" is 'cause people actually like this album, both basically had the same poor promotion, the people who bought "Born To Reign" won't play it anywhere or tell anyone that they like the album 'cause it was weak, that's something only a few of the loyal Will Smith fans'll buy just to have it in their collection but even a lot of us don't like it so we won't play it out or tell anyone about it, lol, but the people who bought "Lost and Found" are spreading the word to each other and playing it so word of mouth helps when you put out a quality product, that's why I say it'll go platinum eventually, this is a product that hip-hop heads respect, but the sad thing is though that the majority of the public wasn't even aware of the meaning of the album, they only felt the cold water like Will phrased they'd feel from "Switch", he said he wanted to show people a different side of him, the majority of the public still thinks every song is a club track like "Switch" since that's all he performed at most of his shows, even if he just performs "Tell Me Why" at some shows people'd be aware.... That's why I feel "Tell Me Why" comes out, that way a lot ot those people who go to his movies and're unaware of him as an mc'll check out "Lost and Found" after they see that his music is just as powerful and inspiring as his movies are... Now considering all the hype and controversey 50 Cent has had, basically the same amount if not more than his 1st album "Get Rich Or Die Tryin'", 50 Cent's career's on a downfall, 'cause his 1st album sold 10 million, it actually had some good songs on it that were listenable as Frenetic pointed out, people actually liked it, but this album he dropped is basically a garbage pop rap album that's gonna sell 5 million instead of 10 million with a lot of those not liking it either, it's just the radio that plays him, if 50 doesn't put out good music soon, no matter how controversial he is, gradually he won't last in the music industry, 5 million for Eminem is also a flop for him 'cause he's used to selling 8-10 million everytime he drops basically had the same amount of hype but people just ain't feeling his album that much for them they don't have problem with promotion unlike Will, "Willenium" and "Lost and Found" could've sold 10 million if they were promoted right, if these wack rappers don't focus on making good music on their next albums, nobody'll buy them gradually, like Will said, "you're platinum now but next year I'm gonna miss you"
  22. Well I guess Will doesn't want the world to hear "Tell Me Why" then, maybe he don't care if they think he's just a club rapper, it's nice that he's doing something with Kel Spencer but it'd be dissapointing if he didn't shoot a video for this deep song...
  23. The downloading era's a lot worse now than it was 5 years ago 'cause I think Britney Spears, NSync, Eminem, and Nelly all sold 10 million albums then, nobody's doing that now, Mariah and 50 didn't even get to 5 million as the highest selling artists, maybe people are getting bored from music, going gold now with "Lost and Found" is like selling 2 million with "Willenium" 5 years ago btw, I was one of those kids who got into Will from that "MIB"/"Gettin' Jiggy Wit It" hype since I was 12 years old at the time, I remember a lot of kids I knew in middle school was feelin' "Big Willie Style", then I remember when I got to high school around when "Willenium" came out 2 years later I noticed less kids saying that they liked "Willenium", a lot of them talking about how great Eminem is though, lol, needless to say they fell off the bandwagon, I never did luckily, lol...
  24. Yeah he bumps "Nellyville" but says "Big Willie Style" sucks??!! He probably thinks Bow Wow's realer than Will :willvspaparazzi:
  25. Yeah the album could easily sell 300,000 in a few months if "Tell Me Why" blows up, there's still work to be done, Will got 6 months off from filming to make it happen!
