  1. Hey rawad Tim could play it for you on his radio shows if you wanna hear the track, I personally suggest for you to buy "Born To Reign" last among the JJFP/Will Smith albums, or for a bargain price since it ain't his best album, I actually buy most albums in my collection for bargain prices 'cause spending $15 for every CD gets expensive when you're a big music fan.
  2. I dont remember "You Saw My Blinker" being released? Actually I have to say its the most NON Will song I have ever heard. Just the fact that he cusses throughout the song and talks about breakin girls wrists and giving the court the finger and other things just kind of turns me off. Its kind of funny but I still think its the worst song he has ever made IMO. ← He only said bitch a few times, that's not cursing throughout the song, throw on Eminem's album and that's cursing throughout, lol, I thought it was one of the dopest songs on "Homebase" though, I don't know why they put that on there either, this is just supposed to be lists of our favorite songs anyway though, which would be mostly misses that never came out for me, since most of Will's best songs weren't ever released, especially in the Big Will era, like I would put tracks like "The Rain" and "Chasin' Forever" on mine instead of "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It" and "Freakin' It" plus replace "Switch" with "Pump Ya Brakes".
  3. And that attitude made him go and buy the album? Stop the harrassing and ****. ← Yeah that's true, there's no need to be so hard on a fan, we can't all afford to buy every album that we'd like to, that doesn't make us not real, that just means we're broke, lol, I don't think anyone said they were puttin' up the track anyway but I don't see nothin' wrong with letting somebody listen to a song as long they're gonna buy it later on, btw "How Da Beat Goes On" was one of the few highlights on "Born To Reign", that's a great feel good track!
  4. That's great, it reminds me of a lot of the poems I write when I go through situations like that and I don't want to put it into a rap song, I just write a few lines like that, if I could sing better myself I'd probably wanna make an r&b album from all that I've wrote.
  5. TO deserves to get paid but he's acting like a baby which could lead teammates and coaches to get mad at him and not want him on the team anymore, it's cool to trash talk other teams but not your own team! :nhawong: If this was an average player doing this, he'd been cut 3 months ago, lol. EDIT: Check this out: McNabb said he isn't bothered by T.O.'s talk ESPN.com news services As the Eagles Camp Turns BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Donovan McNabb insisted he wasn't stung by criticism from Terrell Owens, laughing off the banished wide receiver's remarks before turning serious and telling him to "keep my name out of your mouth." With Owens seemingly bound for his Atlanta home and taking a break from blasting the Eagles, McNabb joked with reporters, tapped the mikes and rubbed his hands together before taking his seat inside a jammed media tent shortly after Philadelphia's practice Friday. It's a family affair Donovan McNabb told Terrell Owens to leave his family out of Owens' contract squabble. • McNabb strikes back "Yeah! C'mon, bring it!" McNabb said to laughter. Owens again blasted McNabb on two separate interviews with ESPN on Thursday, calling the quarterback a "hypocrite" and saying the two of them could not be successful together. Owens also said he had no desire to speak with McNabb. "It's so funny to me how my name keeps getting thrown out there," McNabb said. "You've just got to have fun with it and that's exactly what we're doing." Owens was told to go home Wednesday after a heated dispute with coach Andy Reid -- and to stay there for a week. He's since lifted weights and shot hoops in front of the reporters camped outside his house and had harsh words for Reid and McNabb in TV interviews. On Friday morning, Owens left his Moorestown, N.J., home with two suitcases and went to Philadelphia International Airport, where he told KYW-TV as he headed to a security gate: "I'm going to the Bahamas. I'm going to get a tan." It appears Owens was joking: He was interviewed by local reporters at an Atlanta airport. McNabb, light and smiling throughout his interview, agreed with Owens the two didn't necessarily have to speak to win. "I still to this day see no reason for us to talk," McNabb said. "When we step on this field, it's all about business. We're professionals that line up and do the right thing." This was the second time this year McNabb has warned Owens to stop talking about him. After Owens complained that McNabb was tired in the Super Bowl, McNabb said "Just keep my name out of your mouth," during a mandatory mini-camp. McNabb, who made a recruiting pitch to get Owens to Philadelphia before last season, was tired of hearing Owens complain. "Now for my name to be thrown out again, this is the second time. Keep my name out of your mouth," he said. "Keep my family's name out of your mouth." Owens called McNabb a "hypocrite" on Thursday because the quarterback said publicly that he did not want to meet with Owens, while T.O said McNabb did try to arrange a meeting. McNabb said he didn't learn until Thursday that his brother did reach out to someone close to Owens to arrange a meeting where the two Eagles could possibly work out their differences. McNabb was bothered that Owens brought his family into his televised rants. "My family doesn't need to be involved in any of this. I don't need to be involved in any of this," he said. "Now when you bring my family into it, I have a problem
  6. You must get a lot of girls then! :interesting:
  7. Tom Cruise Denzel Washington Queen Latifah LL Cool J Samuel L. Jackson Ice Cube
  8. I think this seems more like an off-topic since we're talkin' about other artists on the charts besides FP, there's a post on the "Big Will" forum about Will's album sales already, this is more about discussing everyone elses sales. btw, if LL released "I'm About To Get Her" with R. Kelly as a single, it'd been a smash and pushed "The Definition" to platinum status, I wouldn't have minded a video for "One In The Morning" either, I don't understand why he didn't try going back on tour again instead of jumping into making movies, I hope he releases a new album soon, did his clothing line every come out yet?
  9. Here's some info on her, damn she's hot! :yeah: http://www.angelfire.com/tv2/edenscrush/bnicole.html
  10. That was last year when that album came out man, there's not much out on the charts dominating this year besides Mariah, Amerie's very talented and I think her album should be doing better than it is, 112, Keiysha Cole, Faith Evans, Babyface, and Aaron Hall also should be doing better than what they are too 'cause they're better than most of that watered down r&b out there.
  11. Kanye isn't one of my favorites and I think he has a lil' bit of an ego but I think I'll definately buy his album sometime 'cause he stands for more than most commercial rappers out there do, I don't think Nas/Jay-Z are beefin' anymore either, that ended years ago and was just more of a lyrical battle of wits than just a beef anyways.
  12. That's what I mean, we do gotta "Fight The Power" and stand up for our love of what hip-hop's all about , we gotta do it by not buying that ignorant crap and vote/buy albums from the artists that do stand for somethin' like FP, Black Eyed Peas, LL, Common, and those other mcs that're under the radar who stand for somethin' too, but there are people out there that like that crap and diss conscious/positive rappers who are hard to persuade, I'm not giving up, I was just sayin' it's a long fight that I'll be willing to keep battlin' though since I love hip-hop, I already tell as many people that I know already about this album and I post on other forums about it on my free time, I'll try to push a lil' harder too when "Party Starter" comes out! btw, I'm happy that you're feelin' what I was saying earlier Turntable, much respect! :dope: EDIT: Please move this to the Big Will forum whoever's moderater here, I accidently moved it to Willywood by accident, my bad, lol.
  13. Commercial rap is dead, FP's outnumbered, there's only a few positive mcs in the game who try to make a difference with their songs like LL Cool J, Nas and Common, but then there's a whole bunch of fake gangstas that just rap trash who're more popular, the majority of people don't want a change and the hardcore hip-hop fanatics don't listen to the radio anymore and just buy underground albums or listen to neo-soul, lol.
  14. :lolsign: So when was the last time they released an album? Ice Cube only makes movies now and doesn't even make albums anymore either. Will's doing a lot more and is a lot more popular than a lot of mcs that came out when he did and he's the greatest entertainer of our generation, he's done 9 quality albums, what more do you want? He just released the album for his hardcore fans and I don't think this'll be his last but I was just making the point that he's a legend already and he doesn't have to prove anything to anybody 'cause at the end of the day he's more successful than their favorite rapper. The video's gonna be comin' soon I'm sure since it hit radio already, mOOsa! :davidblaine: I get used to it since most of my favorite rappers don't sell anyway, lol, I just enjoy the music.
  15. Well if you put nearly 20 years in the game, selling over 30 million on 9 albums and people don't respect you, then they never will, what are the people dissin' him doing anyway? :interesting: It's like saying Jerry Rice has to make the Broncos this year or nobody will respect him anymore. I know I'd kill to be in that position myself, lol.
  16. Yeah, but I also heard that his next album, "Found and Lost" should be coming out in '08 too... Putting together what you've heard and what I've heard, we can surmise that he's going to put "Tell Me Why" on that '08 album and release it. I also heard that he may be changing the name and theme of the song. From the latest rumors, he may call it, "Tell Me Why I Waited So Long to Release My Second Single." The theme is obvious. Granted it doesn't roll off the tongue, but hey... this is all bonus as someone put it sometime back. ← Well it is a bonus that Will even wants to rap anymore, he could just say "f*** it, I'm gonna shoot movies, I don't want to be involved with that rap bull**** anymore", he's not 20 years old anymore, he has nothin' left to prove and he's a married man with kids that has millions of dollars in the bank, he hustles 'cause he wants to not 'cause he has to. There's no need to diss him for not tryin' to outsell everyone, if you wanna hear "Party Starter" just play your damn CD since you bought it, everyone sounds like a bunch of Lorettas, I'll be happy when the video comes out and if he tours I'll try to go as long as I can but if it doesn't happen life still goes on and that won't change my opinion of Will, he asked y'all "could u love me if my wrist ain't bling/if I wasn't on tv and i didn't sing", obviously y'all don't! :nhawong:
  17. You're right about that 'cause that's exactly what Will said in an interview and it's obvious that he spoke from his heart and is not bs'ing: "the man once known as the Fresh Prince said he no longer worries about album sales. "I'm an entertainer. I make it and close my eyes," he said. "Sometimes it sells 14 million, sometimes it sells 300,000. For me it's about just doing what I do, and hoping that my artistry makes a difference." He isn't trying to follow everybody else and the people who buy the albums he does respect him for that and that's the most important thing at the end of the day, those who complain about their sales and their money lose respect no matter how much talent they have.
  18. I'm about to post somethin' but I notice that Jazzy doesn't really post there that much as he used to, I think more fans need to go there and show some love more often too.
  19. I'd like to help more but I got other priorities in my life too so I can't spend all day just talkin' about "Lost and Found", Will's also gonna have to help himself by releasing the video! :ninja: Maybe Will just doesn't really care that much about outsellin' 50 Cent as much as we do.
  20. The album fell from #57 to #118 in just 3 weeks so even if "Party Starter" gets huge it'll be hard to get "Lost and Found" platinum right away but at least he'll have a shot, I have confidance it could turn around since it's starting to get more radioplay, btw it'd been easier if he toured when the album 1st came out instead of waiting until after "Pursuit Of Happiness", you usually tour when your album drops, but sometimes even that doesn't help sales but at least the true fans get to see you.
  21. I see the Bulls ain't making any moves so far this offseason, no trades, no rookies, no free agents, it's like the team management took the summer off! :ponder:
  22. Yeah it looks like Columbia ruined Will's image and Interscope's ruining Will's sales, this is unfortunate, Will should just do more with Overbrook, Interscope sucks, they spend all their time promoting G Unit to give Will any promotion, he shouldn't have signed there in the first place. I wasn't that worried in June 'cause the album was still strong in the top 40, but the way this looks by the time the video comes out it'll be out of the top 1000! "Party Starter" should rise on the radio but without a video it won't do that much impact.
  23. 174 AMERIE TOUCH 6,209 -4 6,496 326,475 This sucks that she's doing so bad, her album came out the same time as Mariah's. I notice that Aaron Hall ain't even in the top 200 and he released an album a couple weeks ago, r&b's dead! :thatspdiddybad:
  24. Well "Party Starter" has been officially released to radio, it's just a matter of gettin' the video out so it could blow up, somebody has to release it!
  25. I was referring to their albums last year, but if Eminem and Ludacris are still on the charts from last year, I don't see why they shouldn't be, they should've released 4 singles from their albums and they could've went double platinum instead of only gold, well if "Party Starter" doesn't come out soon, Will's gonna face that fate too. btw, damn I never thought Mariah's album was gonna sell this well, she's made quite a comeback, that seems like the only positive thing I see on the chart, well Chuck D got himself a late b-day present probably since PE's Greatest Hits sold a respectable amount of 16K.
