  1. you should also put a link to stream the albums from youtube and spotify etc, anyway great ideas!
  2. i'd like to see some of the more rare interviews that give a glimpse into the minds of JJFP
  3. Rhymefest to me is one of the most underrated mcs, "Blue Collar" was one of my favorite albums 10 years ago, he deserves more credit, hopefully this interview brings it to light: http://www.xxlmag.com/news/2015/10/rhymefest-takes-credit-for-writing-kanye-wests-music/
  4. yeah i remember when i was 12 when Men In Black came out and Big Willie Style came out in the fall of '97 and I got the album on CD, one of the first hip hop albums I was heavy into, before that I was more into r&b music back then than i was hip hop, great memories, and I'll never forget when I got my first computer back in february 2004 and I started posting on the JJFP.com forum and then Switch and Lost & Found came out a few weeks after my 20th birthday back on march 29th 2005, there's been ups and downs for me since then but my love affair for JJFP and hip hop music has remained stronger than ever, i turn 31 on march 4th and i'm anticipating the greatest year ever with JJFP and life in general, great memories but great times ahead too, one love!
  5. well done, i felt emotional reading that, JJFP 4 life!
  6. kendrick lamar good kid madd city album, one of the few hip hop artists today that're dope
  7. I like the idea of Youtube Red, sorta like JJFP Code Redesqe haha,i'll definately consider: http://www.nytimes.com/2015/10/22/technology/youtube-introduces-youtube-red-a-subscription-service.html?smid=tw-nytimes&smtyp=cur&_r=0
  8. Kanye West The College Dropout album, back when he put out quality hip hop music
  9. big willie style would be a top 5 seller on this list if it sold 10 million like u said tim, btw i coulda sworn he's the dj im the rapper and homebase sold at least 3 million copies too which would be good for top 50 as well.... btw it's kinda sad how eminem's worst album encore sells almost as much as his best album slim shady lp, shows u how brainwashed his fanbase is...
  10. great interview as usual, jeff really setting the record straight and i'm loving it!
  11. The Roots feat. Eryka Badu and Eve "You Got Me"
  12. that's so dope my man, great to know you enjoyed yourself with jeff!
  13. i also find it hard to believe that some iconic albums like ll cool j's mama said knock out and boogie down productions criminal minded aren't top 50 popular rap albums of all time, plus of course the iconic JJFP albums like He's The DJ, I'm The Rapper and Homebase aren't on here, you'd like to see Code Red but it only went gold like Lost & Found did, anyway these lists always have some imperfections...
  14. btw the men in black soundtrack sold about as many copies as 8 mile and that was a major hip hop album too with features by nas, a tribe called quest, de la soul, the roots, even destiny's child and alicia keys when they were starting out, plus of course the 2 featured will smith songs "men in black" and "just crusin"
  15. I thought that Big Willie Style sold at least 9 million copies, it's listed there as 6 million and I thought Willennium sold 3 million which would be top 50 but nevertheless great list! http://www.complex.com/music/2013/05/the-50-best-selling-rap-albums/
  16. the long wait was long worth it, i'm loving the video and btw the song is a hit already, don't call it a comeback! http://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/latin/6730037/will-smith-returns-charts-bomba-estereo-hot-latin-songs?utm_source=twitter
  17. as much as i like artists like dr dre, snoop, and ice cube, i feel that JJFP and all those artists you mentioned are just as talented but a lot of those albums from that time did get overlooked...
  18. here's the documentary 2.5, i heard about half of it so far, gonna listen more as the day goes on:
  19. to me code red deserves to be mentioned a classic from that era among the harder edge hip hop albums like nas' illmatic, dr dre the chronic, jay z reasonable doubt, snoop dogg doggystyle, 2pac's me against the world, and biggie's ready to die but it's sad to know it never gets the credit it deserves, i appreciate all styles of music but i believe JJFP should be mention on more all time lists, usually though code red album is respected among the people who underestimate JJFP as hip hop icons
