  1. :werd: Hip-Hop needs a Fuggee album bad now 'cause there ain't too many talented groups out there anymore.
  2. Georgia Tech lost to Louisville last night. :nono:
  3. FP's a smart man and is gonna be the 1st black president of America, those who say he doesn't write any of his lyrics are idiots, end of story, don't believe the hype or fall off! :ali:
  4. Hey bagatrasho, we should only post whether "Switch" makes it on the countdown or not 'cause I don't think we're concerned about who else is on the countdown.
  5. When 50 came in the game he tried bitin' 2Pac's style of being a thug, now he's tryin' to bite LL's style by actin' like a lady's man, but he's failing at both with no talent. :poke: btw, there's more important mcs in hip-hop to post about than 50 Cent, even though I know it's tempting to make a post to talk about how stupid he is. :kekeke:
  6. If I didn't have the internet, I don't think I'd listen to any current hip-hop anymore 'cause listening to the radio and watching MTV/BET makes me sick, I only like watching 106 & Park to see freestyle Fridays, but of course lately I've been only watching to see if they'll play "Switch". btw, I see C-Murder and Beanie Siegal gettin' more airplay than FP is and they're in prison. :nono:
  7. I voted 20 times today which takes my total to 130, the show comes on in 15 minutes, I'll keep y'all posted.
  8. "Lauryn Hill And Wyclef Reunite In Malaysia By Clover Hope Date: 3/19/2005 5:20 pm Ex-Fugees Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean roused appetites for a Fugees reunion yet again when the duo reunited onstage at a charity concert Friday (March 18) for victims of the South Asian tsunamis. About 15,000 people attended the seven-hour concert at Stadium Putra in Malaysia, the Associated Press reported. "This is history in the making," Jean reportedly stated. "Do you all understand what's happening on this stage? I'm too emotional right now." In addition, Jean gave a touching tribute to tsunami victims when he chanted "we'll never forget the tsunami victims," then requested that the stadium lights be turned off. The audience then proceeded to wave lighted cell phones in the dark arena. Hill and Jean sang "Killing Me Softly," "Ready or Not" and "Fu-Gee-La" from the Fugees' 1996 album, The Score. The charity concert was organized by Force of Nature and raised more than $2.6 million to rebuild communities in Indonesia, Thailand, Sri Lanka and India ravaged by the tsunami disasters last December. Former Malaysian diplomat Razali Ismail, head of the organization and Malaysia's tsunami emissary, said the money raised from the concert would help to rebuild schools and infrastructure." It's nice to see mcs doing nice things like this! :thumb:
  9. It's about time that somebody has the balls to say to the teeny boppers that their hero 50 Cent is a fake. :hilarious:
  10. FP doesn't use ghostwriters either, whoever said that FP used ghostwriters is bull****, it's the same situation with him as it is with Rakim and KRS-ONE, their recent albums have more names than themselves on it, but they're the names of the peeps on their production teams, it's called credit, just buy one of their recent albums and you'll see it for yourself, back in the days publishing wasn't an issue like FP said on "Uuhhh". I thought we were done talking about this, why are you trippin' over it so much? :confused3:
  11. I just voted 20 more times, that takes my total over 110 now! :poke:
  12. :werd: I don't even consider Lil' Kim an mc, she's more like a slutty groupie girl that raps.
  13. I lost another one of my final four teams in Georgia Tech, but my 2 championship teams are alive still. :ridepony:
  14. It seems that the Keith B Real skits keeps replaying in these interviews. :kekeke:
  15. I just voted another 20 times, so now my total's over 90.
  16. There's more upsets this year than I even imagined there would be, too bad I pick a lot of the wrong ones, that'd suck if Washington won it all for me 'cause I picked 'em to lose in the 1st round. :what:
  17. I voted 20 times this morning, so that brings my total over 70 now. :poke:
  18. I think that 50 Cent's publicity stunt might've changed Will's opinion about 50 Cent to say something like that, of course I'd agree, but that looks like something a fan would say, not a true artist, but with 50 runnin' his mouth the way he is, he deserves to be dissed by everybody, and 50 disrespected Will too by sayin' that he's as good of an actor as Will is already, Will put time in to get where he's at, it didn't happen overnight like 50 thinks it could, just 'cause 50's multiplatinum now doesn't make him the best mc in the world, there's plenty of mcs that could/are rippin' him apart. Once again this KRS quote comes to life: "Mcs are just hopeless/Thinkin' record sales make them the dopest"
  19. I think I voted at least 40 times so far, I lost count. :ridepony:
  20. Yeah I saw the 1st part shown on Wednesday afternoon I think on VH1, that was such a great series lookin' back on it, I have it on tape.
  21. Well ODB died of drug overdose, I found an article from a few months back on mtv.com: "Ol' Dirty Bastard Died From Drug Overdose, Medical Examiner's Office Says 12.15.2004 Rapper found to have died from fatal mixture of cocaine, prescription drug Tramadol. Ol' Dirty Bastard (file) Photo: Evan Agostini/Getty Images Over a month after Ol' Dirty Bastard collapsed and died in a New York recording studio, the cause of his death is finally known: a drug overdose. According to a spokesperson for the New York Medical Examiner's Office, Ol' Dirty Bastard, born Russell Jones, was found to have died from a fatal mixture of cocaine and the prescription drug Tramadol, a synthetic opiate that is usually prescribed to treat severe pain. His death is being ruled an accident. ODB has had a well-documented history of drug abuse, though in 2003, following his release from prison after serving a two-year sentence on drug charges, he had publicly professed to be drug-free. On November 13, ODB collapsed after complaining of chest pains while working at the old Wu-Tang Clan Studios on West 34th Street in New York, a day after missing a Wu-Tang Clan reunion show in nearby East Rutherford, New Jersey"
