  1. I might listen to a couple songs on the album if there's a listening party for the album before it drops, but I'm gonna buy it when it drops still, bottomline.
  2. :werd: I couldn't say it any better man, underground artists benefit a lot from the internet, I wouldn't know about how there's so much talent out in hip-hop if I didn't have a computer, but established artists like JJFP, LL Cool J, and Nas won't benefit from u not buying their albums when their albums are more excessible than underground albums so I would be wrong not to buy their albums if I like them, so I buy their albums since I enjoy their music. Any album that I could find that I would enjoy, I'd buy, bottomline, I wouldn't cheat a great artist out of money. I might download some of KRS-ONE's recent songs since his albums are less excessible than they were when he was on Jive, but I bought 6 of his albums that I was able to find. I'm very picky when it comes to buying albums too, I wouldn't buy an album if I just like one song I heard on the radio anymore, maybe when I was in high school I would, and I would feel dissapointed 'cause some albums would have too much album fillers on it. On that note, I'm gonna buy "Lost and Found" when it drops 'cause FP makes albums and I don't have to doubt him.
  3. Hey I usually try go in there everyday when I'm online, usually I only catch Tim and FUQ when I'm online. It's fun to chat wit other hip-hop heads that share the same passion for the music that I do.
  4. I hope this album sells close to 10 million now 'cause all these gimmicks in hip-hop is frustrating me 'cause true mcs continue to be ignored, I think "Lost and Found" needs a lot of success 'cause hip-hop heads really want a change! I'm gonna spread the word. :afro:
  5. Everytime I play NBA2K5 on my PS2, I always listen to the soundtrack on there 'cause it's so damn dope, a lot of talented underground mcs on there. I love the ol' school break beats on there too, I would picture myself freestylin' to some of them. My favorite songs on there are: Aceyalone and Mad Lib "KO Player" Hieroglyphics and Goapele "Soweto" Blackstone "All Positions" Del "Rules And Regulations(JMJ)" Abstract Rude "Through These Streets" It's like they made this game for hip-hop/NBA fanatics like me. :?uestlove:
  6. 50 Cent is garbage, even his late '90s stuff sounds boring now, I actually can't wait to hear true mcs rip him apart 'cause he doesn't deserve to sell, there's a lot of positive mcs who deserve attention, I'm sick of the gimmicks, :blabla: , I actually feel like writing a song dissin' him but I wouldn't even waste my time doing that, I wouldn't even use his beats either, they sound recycled, Dr. Dre used to make a lot better beats than this, listen to "The Chronic" album and compare those beats to today's beats, his production is washed up now. btw, I'm listening to Slick Rick's "Children Story"
  7. :werd: You know how everything that celebrities do get hyped up bigger than it really is. :blabla: btw, that Jadakiss diss verse to 50 is actually dope, who woulda thought that I would be sayin' that somethin' from Jadakiss would be dope. :poke: Hopefully though he doesn't rhyme it like he has marbles in his mouth. :kekeke:
  8. :jazzyinthehouse: Great smilies Tim! :?uestlove:
  9. KRS-ONE Feat. T-Bone "Take It To God"
  10. Busta Rhymes "Shut 'Em Down 2002"(The Remake Of The '93 Public Enemy Classic, on a random thought Chuck D discovered Busta Rhymes and The Leaders Of The New School in case some of y'all didn't know)
  11. Hey this song is really good, I see you have a lot of audio there on your homepage, I might check more of it when I get a chance. Good job! :afro:
  12. The r&b and reggae versions are dope but the original is the dopest, kwame killed the beat! :wiggle:
  13. The beat sounds like R.Kelly's "step in the name of love", it sounds real smooth, I'm feelin' it, it has a nice vibe to it! :peace:
  14. "Mr. Nice Guy" is gonna be the "Don't Say Nothin'" type song where he addresses Eminem and all the other sucker mcs and critics in the hip-hop game, Jazzy Jeff's on the 1st track so it's gonna sound like "Pump Me Up", and he already said in some his interviews said that there's gonna be some serious songs on his album talking about issues that he normally doesn't address, this album is gonna sound different from his other albums but it's still gonna have that same FP feel to it, so what's there to worry about?
  15. are u kidding? Better than the original Men in Black song? The original was actually a rap song. Black Suits Comin was nt. Sorry guys but I have no idea in the wrold why u guys would like it (and I read all your posts on this one. Still doesn't convince me) The only thing dope about the original one was the video, the song was crap, possibly the worst one he ever did, it sounds like a P.Diddy type song. And chill man I didn't say bsc was anywhere near his best songs, I just said it's aight and I'm entitled to my opinion.
  16. Well it seems like I've been playing Rakim's "The 18th Letter" CD everyday since I bought it a few weeks ago, I wasn't really playing New Edition's "One Love" CD a lot when I bought it but I've been playin' it more lately, I've also been listening to MC Hammer's Greatest Hits album more lately than I usually do, he has a lot of energy, gotta give him props for that. Other than that basically I've been listening to JJFP, Public Enemy, Nas, KRS-ONE, Keith Sweat, Boyz II Men, and LL Cool J in heavy rotation, with an occasional listen to some James Brown, but that's the usual for me. :poke: Speaking of Snoop, I still didn't get around to pickin' up his new album, is it any good? I definately would pick his album up faster than I would any G Unit's albums.
  17. This was a good song, I definately like this one better than the original "Men In Black" song, but I wouldn't rank this among my all time favorite FP songs.
  18. Naughty By Nature "Hip-Hop Horray" :dancingcool:
  19. That's another dope FP verse, he's really gonna bring it on this album! :thumb:
