Well a lot of the name's on Will's albums are from samples too just like 2Pac's are,not all though on either, a couple names on 2Pac's weren't from samples supposedly. Personally I don't believe all the credits, why would Will, LL, Rakim, KRS-ONE, Chuck D, and 2Pac need anybody to write songs with them in the 1st place we all know that they're rappin' their own lyrics 'cause they live their lyrics, those lyrics represent who they are, they also won a lot of freestyle competions to get signed, you gotta have skills to get on a record label(at least back then u did) nobody that writes lyrics could quite sound like them. Remember this line in 'Uhhh": 'I was in the game before publishing was an issue' Record companies put more names on the album so the artists could get less doe, it ain't fair. :ditto: That's why Will has second thoughts about making albums these days 'cause the record execs get credit for doing nothin', the buisiness is cold y'all.

It's hard to respect 30 year olds that run around and act like they're silly 10 year olds, they need to grow up and stop beefing in public like this, they're setting a bad example for the children. :ditto: My song "Sell Out?" I posted in the Numero Uno addresses this issue in hip-hop and society: "...And how are we gonna have unity Between all races when there's division in the black community?..." I found this article over at MTV.com, this is depressing to see: 50 Drops Game From G-Unit; Shots Fired At Radio Station 02.28.2005 10:22 PM EST Compton MC called disloyal; shooting victim expected to recover. 50 Cent (file) Photo: Kevin Winter A man was hospitalized after a shooting outside the offices of New York radio station Hot 97 on Monday night. Although police have not confirmed many details, a source close to the investigation said the incident occurred at around the time 50 Cent was making an appearance at the radio station to announce that the Game had been booted from the G-Unit. According to the source, Game, who had been a guest on the station earlier in the evening, apparently returned to Hot 97's offices accompanied by an undisclosed number of men and tried to get into the building. At around the same time, 50 Cent's interview was audibly interrupted, some conferring occurred, and the interview ended abruptly. Game and company were not allowed into the building and subsequently began quarreling with a group of individuals who were leaving Hot 97. The altercation led to a man being shot at least once in the left leg. He was rushed to St. Vincent's Hospital. Police have confirmed the victim was a 24-year-old man from Compton, California — Game's hometown — and that he was struck just outside the building. However, contrary to some reports that have surfaced, the police say the man was probably not a member of 50 Cent's entourage, but they are still investigating. Police say 50 himself was not involved in the dispute. There were also shots fired outside the office of Violator Management — the company that manages 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, Tweet and Missy Elliott — on Monday night, but no one was injured, according to police. There are no suspects as of yet in either shooting. On the radio Monday night, 50 — accompanied by G-Unit members Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks and Olivia — told Funkmaster Flex that the Game was being excommunicated from the G-Unit because he felt the West Coast MC was disloyal. 50 told Flex he was disappointed with comments Game made on the station Saturday night, when Game revealed he would not be getting involved in the beefs 50 is stirring up with "Piggy Bank" (see "50 Cent's LP Pushed Up, Harsh 'Facts' Sound Like Disses On Leaked 'Piggy Bank'"). According to Flex, Game even said he was going to do a song with Nas. "He's gone," 50 scoffed. "He might as well make the record." 50 also said Game should stop saying "G-Unit." "He thinks he's doing me a favor when he says that." During his conversation with Flex, 50 claimed Interscope was going to drop the Game until 50 stepped in and got involved with The Documentary. 50 also insisted that he's making more money off The Documentary than Game is, and that he wrote more choruses than he's credited for. Game was on Hot 97 earlier in the evening, talking to host Angie Martinez. When listeners called in to ask about his and 50's problems, Game simply said he was going to continue to make "good music." Two nights prior, Game had said on-air that he and 50 did not have to be friends as long as they worked toward that same common goal: making good music. All Eyes On 50 Cent: The Sequel For weeks there'd been rumors of friction within the G-Unit camp, but they'd always downplayed or outright dismissed the talk, and they even held it together long enough to shoot a joint video for "Hate It or Love It," which debuted Monday on "TRL." A rep for Interscope had no comment on the implosion. In February 2001, Lil' Kim was at Hot 97 when a shooting occurred outside, and she was later indicted for perjury and obstruction of justice for allegedly lying to police and failing to cooperate with their investigation (see "Lil' Kim Indicted For Lying About Hot 97 Shootout With Capone"). That case is currently in the jury-selection phase." There shouldn't be so much attention on this we're approaching the 8th anniversary of Biggie's death, I don't wanna see another rapper get killed, whether I listen to them or not, this s*** is f****d up, like KRS said before, "Stop The Violence"!

:werd: I doubt Nas'll even respond to 50 on a song 'cause it ain't worth his time, he just keep it moving making his new CD. So did Nas re-sign wit Columbia again? I was just curious to know.

I'm watching the Lakers/Knicks game, it's a tight game so far.

This a publicity stunt y'all, 50's trying to hype up his album, I ain't buyin' it though or The Game's album, they're both fake. :ditto:
-
Come on how could u beat Will when u haven't even battled here, post a rhyme if you think ur all that son! :ali: He's been rappin' longer than u were living so don't diss him, it ain't all about rhyme structure, it's bout having a meaningful rhyme, that freestyle is more on point than 50 cent's whole album is.
-
Who cares about that? Why don't they interview somebody important like Chuck D and KRS-ONE on those stations instead of those fools over and over again? :bang:
-
Well if Jazzy Jeff said that it's a freestyle, it's a freestyle, the man has spoken! It can't definately be "Mr. Nice Guy" or any song verse on the album 'cause Jazzy Jeff heard the album. Hey why doesn't he post here once in a while, I want his opinions on my rhymes. :lolsign:
-
Read the credits on his albums, it says written by Tupac Shakur, etc., etc. on songs where he was just rapping on, you obviously don't read credits man. :ditto:
-
Joe, Mariah Carey, and Nas "Make It Last 2000", they do this classic well, but I still like the Keith Sweat version better, it's hard to top him, even with these 3 great artists on it.
-
I don't get why everybody's cryin' over it for, it's the music buisiness, every mc has songs co-written, even 2Pac, Rakim, and KRS-ONE, the greatest lyrical geniouses of them all, u could buy any hip-hop album and see how there's more names than one writing the songs, don't trip over it. They do the same thing in r&b, Boyz II Men's biggest hits were co-written with Babyface and Keith Sweat's biggest hits were co-written with Teddy Riley, this is normal occurance. Well Nelly's gonna be sued soon if his name's the only one on the credit. :lolsign: As long as the music is good I could care less, I mean I wouldn't mind if somebody tried helping me proofread the rhymes when I record my songs if it could make them better.
-
If the song's dope I don't care who's on it and I think that "Party Starter" is dope hip-hop, FP's still himself that's why I support him, doing a song with Ludacris might make Ludacris a better artist now, I think we should reach out to these cats in this game, they just need some direction about how to be creative, I don't think dissin' these wack artists forever is gonna help 'cause being mad at each other won't solve anything. :ditto: I don't think FP ever dissed Snoop Dogg, he dissed cats that were biting Snoop's style at the time, Snoop is original. btw, Nas ain't a gangsta rapper.
-
It could possibly be, anything that you never heard before without a title is called a freestyle.
-
Well if he didn't post an article dissin' this site we wouldn't have to diss him, he asked for it. :ditto: :lolsign: But in all seriousness though, it doesn't matter what you look like to be a hip-hop fan, he shouldn't take these comments to heart.

I didn't watch the oscars last night but I read on the internet just now that Jamie Foxx won. Foxx Offers Most Memorable Speech By RYAN PEARSON Associated Press Writer LOS ANGELES - With warmhearted memories and an entertainer's light touch, Jamie Foxx did his grandma proud. Foxx's acceptance of the best-actor Oscar for his uncanny embodiment of Ray Charles in "Ray" was the night's behind-the-microphone highlight - demonstrating a blend of poise and passion unmatched by previous winners. His thoughtful speech featured a Sidney Poitier impression and a tearful recollection of his grandmother Estelle, his "first acting teacher." "She told me stand up straight, shoulders back. Act like you've got some sense," he said. "And she still talks to me now, only now she talks to me in my dreams. And I can't wait to go to sleep tonight because we have a lot to talk about."
