  1. Hey djsilvertiger, I feel your point there, although I personally disagree with you a lil' bit there about Snoop, I'd preferred it even more if FP put younger mcs lookin' for a break on his album, I'd love to have collaborated with him. :lolsign: But in all seriousness though, the younger mcs have to try to make it on their own by making their own mixtapes, like I'm gonna do gradually if I wanna still do it, well at least Kel Spencer could tell his grandkids that he collaborated wit a hip-hop legend, I'd kill for that opportunity. :ditto: It's hard to judge an artist on just 2 or 3 songs, he has a lot of potential, he needs to put some work in, I ain't dissin' him, he might come out large(I ain't talkin' about just sales either though, he could become the king of the underground) when he's 40 for all I know, age ain't nothin' but a number if he wants to do it still.
  2. Eminem's a fake, don't even compare him to FP, when FP freestyles, he freestyles, Eminem just rhymes his songs, that's why he has so many freestyles 'cause he says the same thing over and over. :ditto:
  3. You wanna hear some great beats, buy a KRS-ONE album, nothin' could top that boombap sound, but at least there's boombap lyrics too for them. :ditto: Those beats on "Code Red" are also better than anything anything that's G Unit, of course the album itself is too better than all G Unit combined, if teeny boppers heard it they wouldn't diss JJFP.
  4. FP "Don't Say Nothin'", that's what all these G Unit fools need to do if they got nothin' nice to say! :ditto:
  5. :werd: What has Kel Spencer done in the last 6 years? Has he toured and made any mixtapes/albums 'cause there's a whole bunch of underground mcs that do that but don't get fame but at least they're out there 'cause they have skills. I think Kel Spencer is probably more of a songwriter and not an mc 'cause if it takes 6 years to release a mixtape or an album as a new artist, something's wrong. DMX debuted on LL's album around that time and his career blew up, Snoop debuted on "Deep Cover' with Dr. Dre and his career blew up, Busta Rhymes career blew up after he was on 'Scenerio' with Tribe Called Quest, so that was a golden opportunity for Kel Spencer to jump start his career with miilions listening to "Willenium" and "Wild Wild West soundtrack" but he didn't obviously after 6 years, if Aceyalone was on "Willenium" he'd be platinum by now probably, he's one of the dopest underground mcs, Kel blew his chance, somebody else should get it. :ditto:
  6. Then you just need to respect my opinion. I mean, you're saying all that, but you ain't practicing. If I don't like Snoop doing porn then that's my opinion and I can keep it. And this line stood out "he has more classic albums in his career than Kel Spencer has recorded songs." How do you know that? The only truth you know about that is that he has more albums than recorded songs that you heard. And quantity is not what matters, it's the quality. And Kel Spencer stomps all over Snoop in that department. Really, I don't care how long Snoop Dogg has been in the game. He comes out with some songs that I think are alright every now and then but that doesn't mean I don't think he can fall off. The whole image Snoop tries to present himself is gangsta, whether he really is or not. Do you guys think the name of his album has a hidden meaning or something. I can be a fan of Will's without thinking the man can do no wrong. There are better artists he can work with and better artists he should work with. I really like Born to Reign. Not an opinion shared with a lot of people on this board. I really like Willenium, but the one song I could do without is Da Butta. Fact is Will DOES confuse me. If these are the artists he's thinking are great, what does it have to take for them to be bad? Also, a porno and a R-rated movie are not even comparable. Ali is rated R. I wouldn't care if kids saw that. Don't give the "What's the big deal?" arguement. I don't have to like it, and you have to accept it. Let me share my opinion without sucking up for Will every chance I get. God Blessa!
  7. Truck Feat. Big Pun, Kool G Rap, and KRS-ONE "Symphony 2000"
  8. Hey man Snoop Dogg has dropped a lot of classic hip-hop albums in his career, he has more classic albums in his career than Kel Spencer has recorded songs, FP respects Snoop a lot whether you like it or not. So what if Snoop did pornos, doesn't FP do R-rated movies? What's the big deal, as long as kids don't watch, it ain't a big issue, either way. :ditto: Like I said before as long as the songs are dope I could care less who's on it.
  9. Wow that's a great potrait there 3cookies!
  10. Mariah Carey Feat. Bone-Thugs-N-Harmony "Breakdown"
  11. Wyclef and Redman "Baby Daddy" "'Jersey In The House!"
  12. Well a lot of the name's on Will's albums are from samples too just like 2Pac's are,not all though on either, a couple names on 2Pac's weren't from samples supposedly. Personally I don't believe all the credits, why would Will, LL, Rakim, KRS-ONE, Chuck D, and 2Pac need anybody to write songs with them in the 1st place we all know that they're rappin' their own lyrics 'cause they live their lyrics, those lyrics represent who they are, they also won a lot of freestyle competions to get signed, you gotta have skills to get on a record label(at least back then u did) nobody that writes lyrics could quite sound like them. Remember this line in 'Uhhh": 'I was in the game before publishing was an issue' Record companies put more names on the album so the artists could get less doe, it ain't fair. :ditto: That's why Will has second thoughts about making albums these days 'cause the record execs get credit for doing nothin', the buisiness is cold y'all.
  13. It's hard to respect 30 year olds that run around and act like they're silly 10 year olds, they need to grow up and stop beefing in public like this, they're setting a bad example for the children. :ditto: My song "Sell Out?" I posted in the Numero Uno addresses this issue in hip-hop and society: "...And how are we gonna have unity Between all races when there's division in the black community?..." I found this article over at MTV.com, this is depressing to see: 50 Drops Game From G-Unit; Shots Fired At Radio Station 02.28.2005 10:22 PM EST Compton MC called disloyal; shooting victim expected to recover. 50 Cent (file) Photo: Kevin Winter A man was hospitalized after a shooting outside the offices of New York radio station Hot 97 on Monday night. Although police have not confirmed many details, a source close to the investigation said the incident occurred at around the time 50 Cent was making an appearance at the radio station to announce that the Game had been booted from the G-Unit. According to the source, Game, who had been a guest on the station earlier in the evening, apparently returned to Hot 97's offices accompanied by an undisclosed number of men and tried to get into the building. At around the same time, 50 Cent's interview was audibly interrupted, some conferring occurred, and the interview ended abruptly. Game and company were not allowed into the building and subsequently began quarreling with a group of individuals who were leaving Hot 97. The altercation led to a man being shot at least once in the left leg. He was rushed to St. Vincent's Hospital. Police have confirmed the victim was a 24-year-old man from Compton, California — Game's hometown — and that he was struck just outside the building. However, contrary to some reports that have surfaced, the police say the man was probably not a member of 50 Cent's entourage, but they are still investigating. Police say 50 himself was not involved in the dispute. There were also shots fired outside the office of Violator Management — the company that manages 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, Tweet and Missy Elliott — on Monday night, but no one was injured, according to police. There are no suspects as of yet in either shooting. On the radio Monday night, 50 — accompanied by G-Unit members Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks and Olivia — told Funkmaster Flex that the Game was being excommunicated from the G-Unit because he felt the West Coast MC was disloyal. 50 told Flex he was disappointed with comments Game made on the station Saturday night, when Game revealed he would not be getting involved in the beefs 50 is stirring up with "Piggy Bank" (see "50 Cent's LP Pushed Up, Harsh 'Facts' Sound Like Disses On Leaked 'Piggy Bank'"). According to Flex, Game even said he was going to do a song with Nas. "He's gone," 50 scoffed. "He might as well make the record." 50 also said Game should stop saying "G-Unit." "He thinks he's doing me a favor when he says that." During his conversation with Flex, 50 claimed Interscope was going to drop the Game until 50 stepped in and got involved with The Documentary. 50 also insisted that he's making more money off The Documentary than Game is, and that he wrote more choruses than he's credited for. Game was on Hot 97 earlier in the evening, talking to host Angie Martinez. When listeners called in to ask about his and 50's problems, Game simply said he was going to continue to make "good music." Two nights prior, Game had said on-air that he and 50 did not have to be friends as long as they worked toward that same common goal: making good music. All Eyes On 50 Cent: The Sequel For weeks there'd been rumors of friction within the G-Unit camp, but they'd always downplayed or outright dismissed the talk, and they even held it together long enough to shoot a joint video for "Hate It or Love It," which debuted Monday on "TRL." A rep for Interscope had no comment on the implosion. In February 2001, Lil' Kim was at Hot 97 when a shooting occurred outside, and she was later indicted for perjury and obstruction of justice for allegedly lying to police and failing to cooperate with their investigation (see "Lil' Kim Indicted For Lying About Hot 97 Shootout With Capone"). That case is currently in the jury-selection phase." There shouldn't be so much attention on this we're approaching the 8th anniversary of Biggie's death, I don't wanna see another rapper get killed, whether I listen to them or not, this s*** is f****d up, like KRS said before, "Stop The Violence"!
  14. :werd: I doubt Nas'll even respond to 50 on a song 'cause it ain't worth his time, he just keep it moving making his new CD. So did Nas re-sign wit Columbia again? I was just curious to know.
  15. Thanks for the support y'all. :ditto:
  16. I'm watching the Lakers/Knicks game, it's a tight game so far.
  17. This a publicity stunt y'all, 50's trying to hype up his album, I ain't buyin' it though or The Game's album, they're both fake. :ditto:
  18. Come on how could u beat Will when u haven't even battled here, post a rhyme if you think ur all that son! :ali: He's been rappin' longer than u were living so don't diss him, it ain't all about rhyme structure, it's bout having a meaningful rhyme, that freestyle is more on point than 50 cent's whole album is.
  19. Who cares about that? Why don't they interview somebody important like Chuck D and KRS-ONE on those stations instead of those fools over and over again? :bang:
