Read the credits on his albums, it says written by Tupac Shakur, etc., etc. on songs where he was just rapping on, you obviously don't read credits man. :ditto:

Joe, Mariah Carey, and Nas "Make It Last 2000", they do this classic well, but I still like the Keith Sweat version better, it's hard to top him, even with these 3 great artists on it.

I don't get why everybody's cryin' over it for, it's the music buisiness, every mc has songs co-written, even 2Pac, Rakim, and KRS-ONE, the greatest lyrical geniouses of them all, u could buy any hip-hop album and see how there's more names than one writing the songs, don't trip over it. They do the same thing in r&b, Boyz II Men's biggest hits were co-written with Babyface and Keith Sweat's biggest hits were co-written with Teddy Riley, this is normal occurance. Well Nelly's gonna be sued soon if his name's the only one on the credit. :lolsign: As long as the music is good I could care less, I mean I wouldn't mind if somebody tried helping me proofread the rhymes when I record my songs if it could make them better.

If the song's dope I don't care who's on it and I think that "Party Starter" is dope hip-hop, FP's still himself that's why I support him, doing a song with Ludacris might make Ludacris a better artist now, I think we should reach out to these cats in this game, they just need some direction about how to be creative, I don't think dissin' these wack artists forever is gonna help 'cause being mad at each other won't solve anything. :ditto: I don't think FP ever dissed Snoop Dogg, he dissed cats that were biting Snoop's style at the time, Snoop is original. btw, Nas ain't a gangsta rapper.

Well I decided to write another song regarding the state of hip-hop and the culture in it, but this time I suggest a couple solutions to make it better, check it out y'all, feedback appreciated! Personally I'm like Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince “Twinkle Twinkle, I'm not a star” When I started rhyming though, my mind wasn't mature As I am now, once again I realised I saw the light from the passing of my grandmother Before that moment I just wanted to be large But since my grandmother's death I got closer to the love we see from God And then I saw DMX in a video paying homage to his grandmother Which reached so deep in my heart I was able to realise how music is able to influence you no matter who you are That's online towards to the moment hip-hop was origined Now we're online worldwide talking about the movement But it seems more argue over who spits the dopest rhymes and sold the most records And who's got the most street cred I always argue back though that the positive influence makes you an mc legend The rank will always change and we all have different opinions So the most important thing is to recapture the essence The main question I ask is How are we gonna be able to attract positveness if we're arguing over pettyness? The celebrites that go to jail get the most recognition And how are we gonna have unity Between all races if there's still division in the black community? If the slaves from 200 years ago came back, they'd say that we still have slavery! LL doesn't have to sell a lot of albums anymore, he has control of his album catalog now so he gets more profit than basically any mainstream mc does, he's financially secured, he's rapping for the love more than anything now, his legacy is there already, but he could still rhyme at a high level so he's still "Doin' It", those who diss him are teeny boppers who don't know about legendary hip-hop, they diss KRS, JJFP, and Public Enemy and call their songs "nerd rap", well they are too ignorant to understand, knowledge is power! :ali:

:werd: To AJ there, I would say that 50 Cent and The Game ain't true gangsta rappers, the true gangsta rap is dead, I love ol' school gangsta rap, they had a powerful message in their songs, when BDP and Public Enemy came out they were called gangsta rappers too, 2Pac, Ice-T, NWA, Warren G, and Snoop Dogg are my favorite gangsta rappers. As far as mainstream mcs are concerned, the only ones that I like a lot are FP, LL Cool J, Nas, and my opinion on Ludacris is getting better now 'cause I see that he's putting work in. Snoop Dogg still is the king of gangsta rap, 50 Cent and The Game can't touch him. I used to love Dr. Dre but once he dropped Rakim and produces only The Game, GUnit, and D12, my respect for him has gone down quite a bit, I still think that he's a legend in hip-hop though and I appreciate the work he put in the game.

:werd: I think Common helped co-write "The Rain", that'd been even more incredible if Common spit a verse on there, even songs on his albums are co-written, FP ain't the only one doing that, 2Pac's songs were co-written, Rakim's songs are co-written, Talib Kweli's rhymes are co-written, basically every dope mc in hip-hop history has had cats co-write with them, if peeps diss FP for that, they might as well diss every mc in the game 'cause everybody does it or did it before. Out of curiousity does FP co-write for anybody? And on "Switch" being co-written, Kel Spencer probably just helped FP with the hook, a lot of ol' school mcs have problems writing hooks 'cause back in the golden age of hip-hop, songs didn't have hooks, I remember hearing Kool G Rap say that on a Hot 97 Interview a couple years ago, he said that the difference between hip-hop in the '80s and hip-hop now is that there's hooks now, he said that he needs help in writing hooks now 'cause he never did that when he started.

I didn't even watch that 'cause his interviews are as boring, repetitve, and predictable as the songs on his albums, I don't think many hip-hop fans respect him anymore, he used to b e a hard working/aggressive mc, he ain't that anymore, and he ain't a man if he can't raise his son! :ditto:

I already knew that P.Diddy doesn't write his own rhymes but his flow's awful too, even KRS-ONE, Nas, and LL have cats write the songs with them, look at the credits for some of their songs too, they have more than one name on their songs, so what's the big deal about it then? :dunno: Of course Will has to write his songs though, his names on the credits, back in the day when JJFP started, there was no such thing as ghostwriters, maybe that's why rhymes were less complex back then, just something to think about. :cya:

It sounds like Fubu's cheatin' LL there, I don't think he'd sue Fubu just 'cause "The Definition" didn't go platinum like they worded it, I don't think record sales ever phased LL, he hasn't really complained about an album not sellin'. "Fatty Girl" was a good song at the time, but it ain't one of my favorite LL songs, so FP isn't the only legend that Ludacris collaborated with.
