  1. Nothing right now except reading this website. :kekeke:
  2. 50 Cent is hypocrital for dissin' Ja Rule 'cause he does the same thing now, "Candy Shop" reminds me of a Ja Rule video, he's biting Ja Rule, so that in my opinion makes him soft 'cause he ain't himself at all anymore. It seems that a lot of the true mcs are gettin' dissed by these trend rappers, why is 50 Cent turning to diss Nas now? I don't get it, Nelly disses KRS-ONE, Eminem disses FP, and now 50 Cent's dissin' Nas? :nhawong: I actually hope Nas ignores 50 'cause 50 is trash and Nas shouldn't waste his time to answer back, he should keep on doing meaninful songs like "Just A Moment" and not worry about him 'cause hip-hop heads ain't respecting 50 anymore. Nas responded to Jay-Z and beat him but Jay-Z' still selling millions, KRS ripped Nelly but Nelly's still multiplatinum, all those stupid teeny boppers say about KRS is that he's an old man who sounds too preachy, they don't have no morals in them that's why, I think the teeny boppers won't understand what hip-hop 'till they get older so they'll still buy Eminem's albums even when FP responds back to rip him 'cause they won't even comprehend FP's intelligentness, I think some of the ol' school fans gotta come out and support the true mcs that're still out.
  3. I don't know man when I was listening that night, I skipped over the 50 Cent songs, I let the Nas song play through though. :dj:
  4. So any details about this album? I know everybody's hyped over FP's album, but is anybody excited about the new Jazzy Jeff album? I know I'm excited about it, any details on it yet?
  5. Dope pics, thanks Tim! Too Damn Hype's still kickin' it in the '05.
  6. Ludacris may not be one of my favorites mcs out now, I listen to a lot of underground/ol' school hip-hop artists, so I don't really have too much interest in him, but I wouldn't diss him 'cause you could see from his videos that he's been getting more creative lately, I give him some credit for that, hey I wasn't dissin' Diamond D, Teddy Riley, or any of the legendary producers, I respect them a lot for what they do, but as long as the song's great it doesn't matter who's on it, that's all I was saying, if Eminem learned how to produce better and gets his s*** together by learning how to respect people, I wouldn't mind if he collaborted with FP either, there ain't no need to have so much beef, learn to be more open-minded. :ditto:
  7. Going gold in the US is considered a major accomplishment for an ol' school mc, only LL Cool J has done it lately, Public Enemy, KRS-ONE, De La Soul, MC Lyte, Run-Dmc, and other legends(I think even Afrika Bambaataa has a new album out right now) made albums over the last 5 years and couldn't even sell 100,000 in the US, maybe worldwide they might've, back in the day they used to go at least platinum here, the fans turned their backs on them! :sad6: It'd be nice if FP put a whole bunch of ol' school hip-hop artists on the album(kwame and Jazzy Jeff are the only ones on this album I think), but I think less people would buy, I think peeps over 40 stopped buying albums, they go to FP's movies but they forgot that he still rhymes too, it's important for him to take this time off of acting, cats like Snoop and Luda have younger audiences(although Snoop is about the same age as FP is) and could help the album sell more, there's buzz over them being on the album already with them being on it, these tracks are dope as hell, so it ain't no gimmick, I'm now predicated that the album's gonna sell 1.5 million in the US, 6 million worldwide, just from even more hype. Records sales ain't everything though as I said, but this could help ol' school mcs become accepted again, so I'm hoping this album sells a lot. Even though there ain't too many ol' school legends on the album, I think some of them should go on the world tour with JJFP 'cause ol' school hip-hop is appreciated more worldwide than it is here in the US.
  8. J-Lo started out as an actress and had a lot of success with her 1st few movies and then started to sing, since she started to do music, her acting skills have really fallen off and actually is better at singing now, but I don't consider her one of my favorites, even though I think that "Get Right" is a definite club banger, and she's looking fine as always in that video. :sonny:
  9. Snoop Doggy Dogg "Gin And Juice", hip-hop classic joint right here, :dj:
  10. Even though I think that FP's rippin' this beat well lyrically, I'd been even more excited if a legendary producer like Teddy Riley or Diamond D produced the beat, but we can't live in the past forever, FP wanted to reach out, try somethin new, and give Ludacris a chance and it worked at well, now if Lil' Jon produced the beat I'd probably throw up 'cause him yelling "Yeah!" on all the songs he produces is mad corny. :kekeke: This song sounds like a definite club banger to me though, Ludacris stepped it up here in my opinion. :thumb:
  11. Eminem shouldn't even be on this list, he's playing a rapper in the movie, but wait a minute that is acting 'cause he ain't really a rapper. :lolsign: At least not a good one, well at least that's my opinion. The top 3 should be Will Smith, Queen Latifah, and LL Cool J, they're phenominal talents in the hip-hop world/mainstream world.
  12. I finally got the DVD in the mail 2day, I ordered it a month ago from Columbia House DVD Club and I thought that I'd get it the 1st day when it came out, I don't know what happened! :dunno: Well I checked out "Back To Bel-Air" 2day, it's a really good documentary, most of my favorite episodes are from the 1st season so I'm really happy about getting this. :switch:
  13. That's ur 1st rhyme? It's pretty good, u could improve a lil' on the rhyme structure, but I felt the message that u were sayin' there, good job! btw, it's nice to see another Bulls fan here! :thumb:
  14. :werd: He ain't normal, that's why he's a legend, God has blessed him in many ways, freestylin' to me ain't no different than writing songs me 'cause I know since I'm an inspiring mc, sometimes when things are on your mind, you could put it to rhyme, either writing it or freestyling it, sometimes freestyles are pre-written, KRS-ONE said on the Enhanced version of "I Got Next" that some of the freestyles he does are pre-written, there ain't nothing wrong with that, anyway you could express yourself and deliver the flow as an artist is dope, even actors freestyle, they improvise lines as they go along in the filming.
  15. ...But back to topic, 'nuff props for posting the links to the songs! I'm looking forward to the more serious tracks as well, it's gonna be a nice blend of pure hip-hop! :thumb:
  16. Who cares about that, FP wouldn't be inspired from that bull**** 'cause true hip-hop heads think 50 Cent is a sell out especially now he dissed Nas, Nas is keepin' it real like FP is, why would u wanna f*** with somebody that stays true to their art? :dunno:
  17. This could be the best album since "He's The DJ, I'm The Rapper", I don't think any of his other albums came close to that one, even though "Code Red", "Homebase", and "Big Willie Style" are definite hip-hop classics, but this one could rank up there with "He's The DJ, I'm The Rapper" without a doubt, this album could open up a lot of doors in hip-hop again as well, I was too little to remember '88, but this point in '05 could become the golden age in hip-hop when these fake rappers get knocked by the fresh prince and the legends returnin' to the top. :ali:
  18. He definately freestyled it, he's been rhyming for about 25 years now, longer than a lot of rappers out right now have been currently living, when he gets in a creative groove, he could do anything still even at 36, Chuck D's 44 and is about to come back at a high level again too, James Brown's in his 70's and still can hype the crowd up too when he performs, they still have more fire than cats half their age, I don't ever expect to touch them, anyone to diss them is stupid.
  19. Oh damn looking back at that post makes me realise that my dream's comin' true, FP's focused as much as I was hopin' he'd be.
  20. who knows there might be even better songs on the album, I'm gonna say that this could be the album of the decade in hip-hop! FP's gonna be the king after releasing this album.
  21. Hey I heard 50 Cent is gonna diss Nas and Fat Joe on his new album, it's all hype and gimmicks to sell records so I won't buy it, I was sucked in by the "Get Rich Or Die Tryin'" hype I'll admit but that to me is one album I wish I never bought 'cause I don't listen to it anymore, Will is gonna address Eminem on his new album coming but it ain't for hype intentions, he's doing it to show Eminem that he shouldn't take someone's kindness for a weakness, he does songs to enlighten people with his artistry, it ain't about sales or dissin' but he sells a lot of albums and has success worldwide 'cause there are some people out there who respect that. If you look at the charts though, you don't see too many mcs selling millions of albums with something important to say, I see that Nas, LL, and FP are the only ones, but there are other true mcs like Talib Kweli and Chuck D who actually have stronger world fan bases than they do here in America where they're from.
  22. "Party Starter" is incredible, FP is back y'all! "Pump Ya Brakes" is a smooth jam, FP and Snoop are spittin' game like the legends they are. :ali: Why would anyone doubt him? :dunno: Eminem's probably gonna be nervous when he hears this. :kekeke:
