  1. Rakim "The 18th Letter"(Always And Forever)
  2. I posted there a few times, it is kinda wack! :lolsign: This forum is easily better but I'll post there once in a while to show my support to FP.
  3. :werd: Let's wait until the album drops to see who's on it, personally I'm hoping for less guests apperances and more JJFP 'cause we hear everybody else all the time, but we haven't heard tracks from JJFP in over 5 years!
  4. Well like I said on "More Feelin"(Wit My Songs): "Since you're in control of the rap you rip You can either sound low to just rap foolish garbage Or you can make the decision to master something That the true fans are just missing" The truth is Eminem just does rap for the money and it shows, but FP does hip-hop to give what the fans want, bottomline, that's why FP's skills shine and Eminem's don't(that doesn't mean he doesn't have any, he just doesn't apply them).
  5. It's "Love's Gonna Get Cha"(Material Love), that song I recommended to when you were doing the disc on '90 hip-hop tracks btw right now I'm listening to Jazzy Jeff Feat. Cy Young and Raheem "We Are", I can't wait until "The Return Of The Magnificent" comes out
  6. :werd: Any track on that album's a hit, that's why it's classic! :thumb:
  7. I think 2Pac only sold 2 million albums before he 1st got shot, that says it all right there. :ditto: And Biggie only sold 2 million wit "Ready To Die" but when "Life After Was Released" a lil' while after he was murdered, it sold 10 million. I think Biggie an aight mc, not legendary though like most think, a lot of his stuff's more bearable to listen to than most pop mcs out now, I thought "Juicy" was such a great song, he gave props to a lot of ol' school hip-hop legends on that track.
  8. :werd: I don't think FP wants this beef to overshadow everything else he's doing and is being humble there, Eminem does has mad skills, he just hasn't express them in recent years and he needs to learn to be less egotistical, u gotta have mad skills just to get a record deal, but a lot of them like Em sell out their image when they make pointless songs and don't put those skills to good use, FP just wants to drop some knowledge on Em and them haters dissin', if Em responds back that woulod only express how immature he is and he'll never progress as an artist actin' like that.
  9. The truth is many people don't know what's here until it's gone, if 2Pac was still living he wouldn't have as much recognition as he does in his death, and that's a damn shame, but that's reality, when all the hip-hop pioneers pass on, then they'll get their recognition too, it's a messed up world for sure. :ditto: I wish that both 2Pac and Biggie were still alive and squashed the beef to move hip-hop forward, I wouldn't wish death on any rappers I don't like, that was a black eye on hip-hop's image for sure and I don't think we've recovered from that.
  10. So is there any word of JJFP going on it yet and are the dates for the tour released yet? :dunno:
  11. Watch ur mouth man, that's disrespectful, they're dead, even though I didn't like Biggie, I wouldn't say that about him.
  12. Rakim "Guess Who's Back", I got this "The 18th Letter" CD yesterday, I wish I got this sooner, this album's legendary.
  13. 1. what albums will you listen to between now and lost and found? Only legendary hip-hop from JJFP, LL, KRS-ONE, Rakim, Public Enemy, and others as usual. 2. how high are your expectations for L&F?Very high as well, a hip-hop classic. 3. how long have you been waiting for this album(like really waiting) 2 years, hip-hop sucks without JJFP 4. what do you think the new JJFP tracks will sound like?Legendary 5. how many tracks do you want on the new album?10-20(with Jazzy Jeff on half the album at least, that's the only way I'd want it to be 20 tracks, if Jazzy Jeff's on 10 songs, if he's on less than 5 songs, having a 10-track album is a better idea) 6. and lastly how old were you when willennium was released?14
  14. :werd: He has the right to demand them to play his records I don't see that as begging, this station plays Eminem and Jay-Z in heavy rotation, but if it wasn't for JJFP's impact there wouldn't be Hot 97, he's earned the right to demand airplay, KRS-ONE, Public Enemy, and Rakim could do the same thing to Hot 97 if they wanted to, they're legends and they earned the right to fight back! :ali:
  15. How old arer you man? Hip-hop didn't start with the 2Pac/Biggie feud, and Biggie ain't a hip-hop legend, he only released 2 albums and rapped more about materialism and sex than anything(Jay-Z' the same way now), 2Pac released 10 albums, so 2Pac's the legend who rapped more about the struggles of life than anything else. btw anything not relevent to JJFP should be in 'Caught In The Middle' forum, peace!
  16. :werd: This verse right here represents the true lack of Eminem's skills: "(Okay) Don't make me wake this baby She don't need to see what I'm about to do Quit crying b****, why do you always make me shout at you? How could you? Just leave me and love him out the blue Oh, what's a matter Kim? Am I too loud for you? Too bad b****, your gonna finally hear me out this time At first, I'm like all right You wanna throw me out? That's fine! But not for him to take my place, are you out you're mind? This couch, this TV, this whole house is mine! How could you let him sleep in our bed? Look at Kim Look at your husband now! (No!) I said look at him! He ain't so hot now is he? Little punk! (Why are you doing this?) Shut the f*** up! (You're drunk! You're never going to get away at this!) You think I give a f***! Come on we're going for a ride b**** (No!) Sit up front (Well I can't just leave Haley alone, what if she wakes up?) We'll be right back Well I will you'll be in the trunk" That barely rhymes too if you look at it.
  17. That's your opinion, I don't see nothing wrong wit cursing in lyrics on occasion to make a point but I don't let it overshadow my skills, AJ had a good point there, some rappers just finish each line in their songs saying f*** or s***, that's showing no skills doing that, there's no need to curse 100 times in a song, that's when it's too out of hand and displays no skills, with me cursing 5 times in one of my songs is the maximum, there ain't a need to curse that much. :ditto:
  18. What's up, I'd rate your song 2.75/5, there's room for improvement in your rhyme scheme, keep practicing and you'll get better.
  19. FP's done it again y'all! We'll be saying the same thing soon next month when "Lost & Found" goes #1 on the charts, the haters can't stop him! :ali: The ultimate entertainer.
  20. :werd: Me too, that's a hard decision to make, there's so many hits that JJFP did in their career to choose.
  21. "Switch" is gonna be a hit, there's always haters there, not everybody's gonna like everything FP does, but if enough do then it'll be a hit, and btw, Snoop and Ludacris get enough airplay already, I don't want the next singles to be with them, leave them on the album, I wanna see some JJFP singles. :ditto:
  22. Yeah I heard that phrase, "the buck don't stop here", I never heard "the puck don't stop here" before, that doesn't really make sense, unless you're talking about hockey. :lolsign:
