  1. There's no comparison between "Yeah!" and "Switch", "Yeah!" is one of the most annoying songs of last year, Kwame easily a better producer than Lil' Jon and I ain't really into Usher.
  2. Thanks FUQ, yeah this is the 1st Super Bowl that the Eagles' are in during my life so far, so it's extra special 'cause I liked them since I was lil', I think I might throw in, "We're doing this in the memory of the 'Minister Of Defense'" 'cause I really liked Reggie White, RIP! Go Eagles! :ali:
  3. From reading the lyrics and hearing the song, this is your best work yet and that says a lot, keep it up and you'll go far! Keep on writing what your heart tells you.
  4. FUQ "Brought Upon A Dream", the future of hip-hop! :thumb:
  5. I think that Michael Jackson is one of the greatest performers of all time and he appears to be a nice guy but if he did something like this he'll have to pay the consequences like anyone else would, nobody's above the law. :dunno:
  6. Hey I just tried listening to it just now, but it's saying the webpage is currently unavailable, what's up with that?...hey FUQ, if you're here still let's chat
  7. Well if this song's a hit, which it should be, there would be no need to release another single until after the album drops.
  8. I don't even think MTV played "Bridgin' The Gap", well then again I wouldn't know since I don't watch MTV much! :kekeke:
  9. Run-Dmc "Proud To Be Black", you're damn right I am! :ali:
  10. I don't see anything wrong with releasing the single early, if the single does well, the album sales will do well, most of the time that's the case, except for when Nas' "Street's Disciple" recently went gold without having a single dominating the charts, he released "Thief's Theme" 5 months before the album and that song wasn't a hit on the charts, but the album was.
  11. Why does every song that's out now have to sound the same? FP's rhymes in that song are similiar to the way Kurtis Blow and Run-Dmc used to have shorter verses, you obviously don't like ol' school hip-hop if you don't like this. You sound like another bandwagon fan to me! btw, it's cool if we're comparing FP to LL, they're both hall of fame mcs.
  12. Whoever doesn't like this track has obviously been listening to a lot of Nelly and Ja Rule bull**** 'cause this is real hip-hop and it don't have to go #1 on the charts to tell me that it is, FP could slap the hell outta these fake commercial punks anyday, that's all that matters to me, haters step off! :ali:
  13. I was inpired to write this 'cause the Philly Eagles are gonna be in the Super Bowl! "'05 PE Super Bowl Anthem” Chorus: A dynasty in the making PE's “Fightin' The Power” and breaking Other teams who're cowards that start shaking When they see PE on the schedule they just hate it They'll all taste defeat, so face it PE's got the true dynasty now and'll dominate the Patriots To get known in NFL history as the greatest Verse One: April '99 marked the start of this dynasty Before then there were hard times for PE Back in '98, they were only 3-13 On the other end of history Only the die-hard fans were down with the team And many have jumped on this bandwagon now 'cause of victories But that day in '99 was when they drafted a QB After hiring head coach Andy Reid Who has lead playoff pushes since the Y2K Mcnabb has been the one to lead the way When he retires he'll be compared to Marino and Elway As one of the greatest QB's that have ever played Of course he wouldn't be nothin' if the offensive line didn't dominate Tra Thomas and Jon Runyan have had his back They're lineman beasts who don't give up the sacks They're the type of lineman who'll lead Mcnabb's longevity to last As the opposing 'D' falls flat To build a dynasty is a tall task 4 Straight titles in the NFC East exhibits the raw craft Has been designed and chemistry has always clawed to attract The best players to perform with 100% effort stacked In the NFL there's never a moment to slack 'Nuff props to the ownership and coaching staff Who put time in to focus making game plans Westbrook has become a stable running back Look at the total yardage from scrimabe he has A jack of all trades is what he's known as If you need big yardage call Fredex He made that clutch catch last year on 4th and 26 And also stepped up this year in the playoffs when PE lost Terrell Owens I'll get more into giving props to Owens in a minute But when you're looking for top tight ends Look no further and you'll find Chad Lewis and L.J. Smith They've made opposing defenders look mad foolish As for the 'D', PE's got a lot of weapons charging Brian Dawkins' leadership go the secondary sparkling He's been on PE since '96, being through the dark and bright moments Jerimiah Trotter, Hollis Thomas, and Corey Simon also take no garbage I can't forget about Mark Simoneau and Hugh Douglas That 'D's delivering hard hits PE's “Shuttin' Down” them haters The cheering crowd of tailgators Know all about the winning field goals from David Akers [Repeat Chorus] Verse Two: There's a lot of jealousy that occurs Opponents plottin' for PE to go backwards Week after week they had to learn That there's no relief when their plans don't work They can't match the schemes that we interacted to burn Competition who thought that plan would reverse From 3 years of not getting over the hump They wanted PE to self-destruct Sayin' that the winning days would be outnumbered When the media wanted PE and their fans to feel cursed So nobody would wanna play for the birds But then before last summer PE landed both Terrell Owens and Jevon Kearse Now all them punks felt remorse For those words they spoke The offense has been able to explode Thanks to the plays of TO Mcnabb has eclerated with the extra option that came to show Silencin' critics thoughts of how team chemistry would unfold By adding another marquee player to the mold But it only benefitted adding more weapons to the arsenal All the drama and controversy never overshadowed the master goal Kearse has lived up to the hype as well Giving opposing quarterbacks all types of hell The Lombardi trophy's up for grabs, so it's time to excell Let's kick back and check the scene This moment will last long in our memories As we're able to witness true power of this destiny The master coach Andy Reid will charge PE 'Cause they'll prove to have more heart Than Bill Bellicheck and company Once again like I mentioned in the chorus, this is history in the making The Lombardi trophy's what PE'll be taking [Repeat Chorus]
  14. Nelly always does! :kekeke: btw, right now I'm bumpin' LL Cool J "Throw Ya L's Up", one of the best songs on "10". :dj:
  15. :werd: If you can't feel this, you don't have no soul!
  16. You're damn right! :kekeke: Hearing that song got my creative juices flowin' again, much love to FP for making another hit.
  17. :werd: :kekeke: Right now I got on Keith Sweat "Gots To Have It"
  18. Hip-hop ain't all about flashy videos, you don't have to spend a million dollars to make a great video, most of those videos are boring to me, 'cause it's the same thing you see over and over again, it's cool that Will's doing something different. I actually like this song better than when I heard "Headsprung" the 1st time and I think that song wasn't one of my favorites on LL's "The Definition", just like I don't consider "Thief's theme" one of my favorites on Nas' "Street's Disciple", most of the times I consider singles the worst songs on a great mc's album, if you're a weak commercial mc the single's the best thing you have to offer, I like listening to albums more than singles, that's my preference, I think you're a better artist when you could put together a great album rather than just a great single, when it comes to JJFP/Big Will albums, it's like a great novel, rather than one good chapter in a boring book.
  19. That's some dope stuff there! Peep this: For years mcs been frontin' All these ladies been wantin' Big Willie to give them somethin' They start to scream when they see him comin' All the fellas bust on the scene to go clubbin' When they peep all the mamis they're wantin' Only this Fresh Prince outta Philly can get your blood pumpin' This much with fresh lyrics over a beat that's drum bumpin' Making you wish that it was "Summertime" all over again This great groove "Switch" takes your mind away from the troubles we witness All we need now is some scratches on the turntables from the Magnificent
  20. :werd: ...plus "Parents Just Don't Understand", "Brand New Funk", and "Girls Ain't Nothin' But Trouble", I don't think any single could top those songs, it's hard to top yourself when you're a great artist, no matter how much FP does he'll be known mostly for those songs he did earlier in his career, at least he should be. :ditto: It's like that with LL Cool J, KRS-ONE, and Public Enemy too, they stay consistant but they're more known for earlier songs that they did when they started. I think that the track is straight hip-hop for the '05 to bring FP back on the scene, I can't think of any song out now in the mainstream that I like better than this one already, if this song doesn't get you pumped up, you must be dead. Who knows this could be one of the weaker tracks on the album, that's how great this album could be and that's why I'm excited! :switch: Most songs that get airplay on the radio I'd give a 5 rating at best, except for a couple that I like, 2004 was the arguably the worst year in hip-hop but with JJFP comin' back in the '05, they could bring more life to hip-hop, this is the equilvalent of Michael Jordan comin' back to the NBA.
  21. To me I think freestylin' and writin' go hand in hand, once you perfect one, you could perfect the other, once I started getting good at writing, I started to get better freestylin', practice makes perfect.
