1. I'm glad that y'all enjoy it, I've been wanting to show a different side of me that you don't see through my songs, senior year of high school has been the most memorable year for me so far in my life, it was the year that I learned who was my friend and who wasn't and I felt just doing me and staying focused was the best thing to do, I'm going tell y'all something "Born To Reign" inspired me to write this one, you don't have to sell out your image to make a friend, if you respect me for me I'm cool with that, if you don't respect me I won't force you to 'cause I have better things to do than trying to force someone to like me.
2. And if that girl ever hears that song she'll be like "damn I wish I stayed with him"! That's the feeling I want girls to feel when I release an album one day and it has on some songs that I wrote about when I was with them! :ditto:
3. I wrote this before I graduated high school reflecting back to how i made through those 4 years that were sometimes hell. Enjoy! "Victory Determinance" Poem written on June 12,2003 The clock is running fast With the game ending To show that I'm the one man Who knows the facts When I ain't pretending To go and accomplish a plan Any one that I want to be exact These thoughts in my brain are endless You have to learn to understand My victory determinance I noticed during my days at school As my high school life comes to a close There are a lot of times That I could have got fazed by a fool And I could have gone Into something stupid and lost my mind But instead I built the tools Constantly pushing myself for knowledge to grow Then I was able to find Another thing to keep me from losing my cool Which was the thing of how I was able to unwind In other words relax to know that nobody can rule Over what I go toward In all this confidance I learned to find When others are fooling, I'm using my victory determinanace!
4. I was listening to "Shorty was da Bomb" by DMX and I was thinking about this verse that you did, especially when he said: "We only did it for that night But man that pussy was good"
5. If they do as good as job as they did with that show they did dedicated to Hip-Hop of the '80s a couple of years I'll be happy! Thanks for letting me know about that I'll be looking for it that week, I usually don't watch VH1 too much 'cause they show too much pop music most of the time, I watch BET most of the time when I wanna see some hip-hop(if I'm not working that day I'll watch "The Bassment" and "106&Park"), MTV has been too corny, I rather watch MTV2 than MTV 'cause at least on Sundays they have a hip-hop countdown where they play the videos in their entirety, they're the only music channels that I have, I think I watch ESPN more than a music channel these days 'cause the music hasn't been that good and I haven't had that much time 'cause of work.
6. :thumb:  :peace: Big Will! You and Nas both have birthdays this week, I think Nas is today if I'm not mistaken, they should have one big hip-hop birthday b-day party for them since they're 2 of the greatest of all time! :grouphug:
7. Suckers like Cassidy should hear about Will doing things like this before they say ignorant things like "Will doesn't give back to the people"! This is a great story, celebrities have power to influence the youth to go the right way and Will's doing just that!
8. Thanks for that AJ, it's good to hear what the fans hear what they think about the album instead of just industry heads who seem to be biased towards certain artists 'cause they get paid off to give 'em a good review! I wouldn't consider a multi-platinum album a success if most of the people that bought the album want a refund back 'cause they rather throw the album in the garbage than hear it again, fans should be more careful when they buy albums so that way slacking multi-platinum cats'll be motivated to step up their games and the underrated cats would get more recognition, that's what the game needs most, smarter fans.
9. This is for Joe... The comebacks you make lack sense Your raps are full of lame wackness Everyone here knows that ur a drug addict The only thing you said in this battle is “Big Ted's dead and he's a bitch” There's no originality in this You can't rhyme anything without cursing Now you wanna question me About how I was when I was 16 That was the year that I came up to be teaching What I learned in school and reaching Busting out tools of prophecy I do this to be leading All you're doing is mistreating and misleading Back in '01 I was rippin' “Hypocrite MC's” And slaying punks by tellin' 'em “Don't Step Unless U Rep” You take too much drugs so “You Won't Play Me” with ur foolish attempts When you only got me chuckling Since you're just a “Knucklehead” I burn you with my hit list 'Cause I was “Bringin' Da Hip-Hop Funk” And I knew that “Fake Homies Front” I can take what I wrote back then and make a classic album Let me rephrase that, I have enough material to make 12 classic albums I'm not even 20 yet And I could make a mixtape of my greatest hits Do the math quality+quantity= mc legend Your're failing elementary and I'm acing colleges Your raps are chapters while mine are full length novels I still stand up and “Spread Love” And I “Don't Lose Hope” when I stand above I'm gonna deliver you “The Knockout Blow” I'm gonna force you to “Feel My Flow” The scary thing is that I'm still continuing to grow Both mental and physical I don't lift to be a sex symbol I do it just to remain fit and live longer My rhymes remain timeless Your vibe only remains mindless You're already defeated, it was a time wasted So give up when we all know your style is disgracing To your peeps that you're supposed to rep for in displaying All you similies and metaphores are all basic Compared to words that I use to "Debate" with I rather be the 1st black president Than releasing a platinum disc Your ignorant rap'll lead cats to prison While my intelligent rap'll make them improve to leadership Like Jada Pinkett I bring the Wicked wisdom And like Scottie Pippen I bring that "Full court Pressure" Sot that means I make you "Feel My Hunger" Like my quote in the signiture When I flow "That Flame Burns" And as a "Hardcore Rebel" My mama taught me well Like KRS-ONE I bring the Higher Level So I'll be teaching with him and Afrika Bambatta at the hip-hop temple Rockin' holy lyrics over instrumentals Like Nas did to Jay-Z I'm giving you Ether My rap chemistry already depleted your role On further note the phrases I quoted Are the name of my original songs And another note I support fuq 'cause he's another east coast mc reppin' strong Even if I remain a solo artist my charge is on I'm tired of battlin' lame punks like you who're wearing thongs
10. The 2nd week was great, topdawg ur Bears came out strong beating Big Bean's Packers, Jerry Rice's consective games with a catch finally broke but it started when LL's 1st album "Radio" nuff respect to him he's the G.O.A.T of wide receivers! And oh yes my Eagles won again! :thumb: :touche:
11. It's hot! That reminds me of somethin' that I wrote about a girl that I met when I was in high school who moved from New York, there's a lot of cool chicks there man, I love going there to meet girls! :switch:
12. It's "La-Di-Da-Di" by Slick Rick.
13. It's hard to find a good soundtrack or mixtape these days, a lot of them are garbage but those FP&MJB and Missy&Christina collabos sound hot! I didn't buy the Bad Boys II soundtrack, I borrowed it from the library and after I heard it I'm glad I didn't waste my money on it.
14.
I could pull off some bigger support if we collab and stuff. It'z all east-coast love man. My nephew was gonna start rappin and he's from NJ. We were gonna do a song 2gether, but we never did it cuz they was lazy. It was gonna be dope 2.
I'm the only one in my family that raps. I know a cat that lives in New York who raps in Spanish(I don't know what he says in his songs but he has a crazy flow and beat a lot of cats that rapped Spanish in his high school) and we were considering to collaborate but we haven't chatted in a while and I don't know what he's up to. It's hard for me to find anyone to collaborate with 'cause a lot of peeps ain't that serious about it like I am. :ditto: Hey man I'm open to new ideas holla at me through PM and we might be able to pull off a collabo.
15.
Dang bigted, U included me wit all dem greats. btw, I wasn't sugarcoating anything. His game has stepped up some.
Hey man if we keep up our names'll be mentioned among the greats more often. I didn't exactly think that you were sugarcoating anything, I was sayin' to Joe that I'm gonna tell you how I feel and I don't measure anyone's elses feelings into what I feel. Well when you battle me you gotta bring your A game 'cause I always have something new to rap all the time I don't post all my songs here but I'm constantly writing new rhymes and freestylin', hip hop is more than a game to me and I don't like to overexagerate when I rap that's why all my rhymes are reality.
16. I was forgetting about Redman for a minute, lol, he has an original style in his delivery, he keeps it fun, Fatal Huessin is probably the worst rapper in the Outlawz but I still respect the Outlawz 'cause they represent for 2Pac. BTW, I've been trying to get something poppin' with my friend who's a DJ but he works different times than I do so it's hard to know when we're gonna start recording something, I do have something in mind though to get my name out in the streets, thanks for the support fuq I appreaciate it!
17. That's it Joe I guess you really wanted it? Tryin' beatin' this... What did you do suck your father's dick? Just so he'd come up with that dog piss That was typed on this discussion and misfortunate I already came up with the win You got fuq askin' "Why'd you become a bitch?" The only reason why he gave u positive reaction is so u won't kill yourself over this Don't get gased that's the only props you'll ever get I don't have to go sugarcoat how I feel about your hoe **** If you wanna call yourself cupid go ahead I use my head to study bigger **** I know I use soap and deodorant How could you buy soap when you only buy dope with your check? :dunno: That's if you even work 'cause to get a paycheck you gotta earn it I work and on my free time I keep knowledge burnin' Run-DMC said that "You Talk Too Much", but it's all ignorance exerting :bang: You have about 40 lines but I didn't feel much punch in them If you really do crime you'll go to prison If you front about that watch you shine you'll be shot in the head I know how to survive in the suburbs and the projects You talk about Hero but he vibed with Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince So he knows what real talent is How can I be pop when I'm underground like KRS? And I'm gonna "Flow Forever" like Rakim I tell truth to be known clever so my rap design's intelligent All you're out of line crap is ignorance The essence of rap isn't charted When you have intelligence you can be in charge of a buisiness You're now getting routed I'm builiding the foundation of a palace And your sand castle just discinigrated When I battle I don't bust discrimination If you come at me like a slut you'll be put in your place again I'm like Jordan you're only Lebron I shine gold medals from performing you only got to be bronze Don't be disrespecting my mom You better watch what u say or else you'll fry hard I don't give a damn if I'm a nerd When I'm a man of my word I represent what I stand for What so great about making bitch songs like "Shake Your Tailfeather"? You're another Nelly whore Go ahead and be with him, P.Diddy, and Britney on the Rolling Stone Cover That's not gonna make me respect you anymore If you keep on sellin' your soul you'll be the record company's whore I'd rather be studying more And even if I don't make it as a rapper I'll still get success mastered When I rep for my heart true Are you gonna call 2Pac a nerd when he went to performing art school? He didn't be an actor overnight like them other rappers that're retarted fools Go ahead and have material success I rather have spiritual bless 'Cause when I'm dead heaven is where I'm going I already know what I'm gonna say to my children and grandchildren I always pave the way for the future when I create my lyrics Go ahead and study gay porno flicks I got books that I have to go read again If you wanna live all atheist You'll be going to hell After a life time in the jail cell And if anyone else wants a piece of Big Ted they'll get overwhelmed Like LL I stay in this hip-hop matrix rockin' bells
18. That's great news but I wanna hear more of Wyclef and Lauryn solo albums again before the Fugees collaborate again. Their should be a mixtape album featuring all the great mcs from New Jersey like Naughty By Nature, Queen Latifah, The Fugees, and introducing Big Ted. That'd be my dream come true to work with them! Maybe in a couple of years that'll happen.
19. Boyz II Men and JJFP should do a track together and release it as a single to revibe each other's success 'cause that's what Boyz II Men did for LL after "14 Shots To The Dome" they did "Hey Lover" and LL won a Grammy in '96. "Born To Reign" would've done better if Boyz II Men were on it instead of Tra-Knox and Jazzy Jeff produced it, they could've called it:"Born To Reign: Kings Of Philly" !
20. Jeff is the hardest working DJ in the game! :switch:
21. Yeah Joe you're provin' how much of a hypocrite you are When you don't persue your talent up to par And if ever do go multi platinum it'll be 'cause you sold out 'Cause you'd rather sell your sould just to be rich and live all foul That's selfish and not what a true artist is about You'd rather sleep with prosititutes Who have scandelistic views And just wanna take all your **** from you I don't take x I only sleep with women that I greatly respect And want to make something out their life But I'm too young to settle down for a wife I'm all about keeping my priorities in line Everything comes in due time I do everything with a plan Unlike suckers like you who act like the world will just go in their hands Without putting in work You'd rather put out a gimmick record To be a trend But me I'm doing the opposite I'm doing something that'll live on after I'm dead Like Biggie I know sky's the limit My legacy will show my life after death Every rhyme I put my signiture on Is the design that I scriptured strong So in this debate, I won't discriminate, your rhymes are a disgrace I'm gonna take a **** in your face If you don't shut your mouth soon, How many times do I gotta knock you? My life is not all about numbers, It's about bringin' out the wonder Of how I'm gonna save the hip-hop game from drownin' under You chose to drown with it when you ain't about **** Like Big Daddy Kane I ain't half steppin' If you're smart Big Ted is the name you have to invest in I'm puttin' an end to your retarted questions And fan4ever when you retailiate I'll teach you like your professor is
22. :ditto: You were too late fuq, I was in there for a lil' while and Da Brakes came in but then went out before I could holla at him, then you go in when I left already.
23. :ditto: Don't sweat it man, it'll come in time, the main focus right now is just keepin' your flow and delivey tight. Btw, I noticed that me, you, and Da Brakes are all online right now, let's head to the chatroom and have a lyricist chat if y'all are still here! :thumb:
24. They're not related but for a while I actually thought that they were cousins after I heard "Take It Off" on the G.O.A.T. where LL said: "To my cousin Will Hold your head, nigga chill" :ditto: BTW, I didn't see it, was he talking about getting people out to vote? He always does things like that, we'll probably see Chuck D go on some political shows too talking about getting peeps out to vote with the election coming up, since they're both positive role models in hip-hop.
25. You did well delivering them rhymes. It's cool to use beats by older cats 'caue their songs inspire us, just like when they used James Brown's beats back in the day, but it's cool to come up with your own beats when you become known that way younger cats will get inspired!
