I noticed how fan4ever hasn't responded yet, I guess he's dead And now I'm putting the finishing touches of placing Joe next to him At least fan4ever went down quiet, when you suck it's better to be silent I don't like to provoke out violence, but when you flow all them lies in your lyrics I get angered by it, so now this is the last moment I'm sick of your comebacks when I'm blowing out your dumbass You're a broke ass when you spend all your doe on crack You're in a gang of gay rappers wearing clothes that don't match If you ever make an album it's getting thrown in the trash You never get in the studio with them booty flows Security will make you start running home You're gonna wish that I was still your potna 'Cause I'm fully equipped and you have no armour And if you reply again you're gonna get your arm broke Nobody will confuse you with Fat Joe, when you always have crack up your nose You're gonna die of overdose And for your question on my race, I'm a black man If you ever step in my face, you gonna feel the blast of my jab And I'll rip off your legs, leavin' you more pain than if you were only stabbed When girls spread their legs I'm like Keith Sweat when I "Get Up On It" While you fiend for nuts more than an elephant, I see you're trying to get on my dick But sorry fag, I don't get down like this This battle's now finished and the crown's on my head! I just rattled clown competition, y'all got knocked out by Big Ted

Check out this freestyle I did on philadelphiaeagles.com a few months ago about the Eagles with Eagle fans on the Eagles' Message Board:Eagles Rap I remember I did a football freestyle about the Eagles' against some my friends I went to school with that're Giant fans on the schoolbus when I was in 11th grade. before the the playoffs in January '02, this was one my favorite lines that I still remember that I said: "That our opponents we supply slaughter Especially after hits from Jeramiah Trotter"
Kel Spencer could be one of the hottest things out. My best way 2 discribe him would be 2 throw Fresh Prince and Rakim in2 a blender, a dash of KRS-One, and a pintch of non-Deathrow 2Pac.
If you do that and add a lil' bit of Nas' and Slick Rick's storytelling you'd get me!

I think that MC Lyte is underrated as an mc, she's the female version of KRS-ONE, she's been nothing but positive to the game since she came out in '87 and she's still rapping too, she got an aggressive flow, she could take out Lil' Kim and Foxy Brown and even a lot of guys too, she's one of the best mcs of all time, male or female! :touche: Talib Kweli is hip-hop's version of Stephon Marbury(they're both from Brooklyn too in case you didn't know), he has a lot of talent and has been quietly consistant for over the past 6 years dating back to when he was with Mos Def as the duo "Blackstarr" and that album with Hi-Tek "Reflection Eternal" is one of the best hip-hop albums I ever heard, it was straight hardcore spitting, "Quality" was great too but "Reflection Eternal" had more lyricism, but anything that he spits is better than the rest of the game, he's one his way to being one of the all time greats. People also sleep on Wyclef Jean, he's such a unique hip-hop artist, he's a great lyricist, but he's also a rapper that can actually sing well, and he drops that Carribean dance hall flavor in his music, he hasn't gone platinum since he released "The Carnival", but he always drops originality whenever he releases his albums, he showed how aggressive of an mc he is on "The Masquerade" and he showed how great of a singer he is on "The Preacher's Son". I think that he's the best hip-hop artist that was in The Fugees and that says something considering how great they were.

It's dope! :thumb: I wrote a song called "If I Had A Gun" back in April of '03 when I was still a senior in high school, I saw that some of my friends were turnin' their backs on me, so I wrote this when I was pissed off, it made me feel better. I'm just gonna post a piece of it here for y'all to check out! Verse One: I don't wanna hold a grudge Why don't y'all show me love I try to enlighten you and you don't give a **** You just like to fight and fool, then give me a shove But now if you ever touch me Know how that's foul and not funny Why are you tryin' to make my heart turn cold? I'm not tryin' to start turnin' old And become a bitter soul My innocence has disappeared My perdicaments have appeared Into my decisions to rap clear Instead of blind and unguided I'm no longer a child But don't make me turn vile You can't determine anything that'll make my soul gone I saw a lot of things that are raw I don't discusss them all And I learned to grasp on tall 'Cause I don't want my life to end tomorrow I can't take all of this sorrow Of the world that doesn't care How much love is there If I been comin' up shorthanded Into what I've been planning Doin' something the right way has been hard and demanding If I chose the wrong path I could have fulfilled them more fast But my life could have gone in a flash If I was trying to live fast I'm tired of hearing what these punks have These long days won't last I ain't gonna go crash Good things will become a blessing When it takes longer to get them I'll be willing to cherish them So I shouldn't be thinkin' negativeness But... Chorus: If I had a gun In my hand And you called me a pussy How would that be fun? You would ruin my plans And I would go to the penetentury Fortunately I don't have one I know how to be a man You should feel lucky 'Cause without shootin' a gun Makes me a bigger man And you the pussy When I could beat ya without one

I agree with you about Treach, he gets overlooked a lot, Vinnie holds his own too in Naughty By Nature, they need to be put up there with Run-DMC and Public Enemy as the best groups in hip-hop history, they rep 'Jersey well! I think KRS-ONE doesn't get enough credit for all he's done for hip-hop by the music industry, he's dropped 13 albums in 17 years in the game, including 4 in the last 4 years so he ain't slowin' down, on top of that he does ministry as the head of The Temple Of Hip-Hop which teaches the hip-hop nation about God, and he writes books too like H.E.A.L. and many countless others about this, but the mainstream doesn't pay attention to him though, if they did the game would be a lot stronger now, he's a legendary m.c., but he's even more intelligent as a person, when he finally retires many years from now, he'll go out as the greatest of all time, he'll get his due, even if it's after his death, people'll recognize how legendary he has been!
LL Cool J ft. P. Diddy - "After School" awesome throwback track even though i hate p. diddy..he comes through.
It'd been better if FP was on it though instead of P. Diddy and they coulda made a throwback video like "So Fresh"! Right now I'm listening to Keith Sweat Featuring Kut Klose "Get Up On It".

That's what's so great about hip-hop, reality gets expressed so well through lyrical expression, and I was listening to Grnadmaster Flash and the Furious Five "The Message" and it still relates well to what's going on today even though it came out over 20 years ago, we need more songs like this to bring hip-hop back to where it needs to be!

1st off fan4ever I'm far from a mess When I stay organized with the words I deliver in this contest The basis of this is cleverness over the ignorance of your deliverance One minute you claim to be the hardest but then you start quivering Like your having a seizure That rap **** to me is time of leizure I don't stressed out over this battle 'cause you won't do nothin' if you run into me in 'Jers But if you try something you'll get thrown in the Atlantic 'Cause I do damage like Hurricane Francis And don't talk **** about my dad Or I'll stomp your bitchass You're more like the Heat before Shaq You're just an average mc in the pack And Joe I didn't leave you out I'm gonna hit ya with so many blows you'll be bleeding out your mouth You don't have any power to go diss rappers now You may not like 50 but you're still a wanksta You're a wannabe, not a killer gangsta You lack speed and stamina Don't persue the path to be a rapper 'Cause you have less energy than an old man that has to take Viagra I'm a six footer that's in excellent shape From doing callestetics and lifting weights You're no competition that'll get in my way The pope would recognize that you're a hypocrite So he'd beat you with his walking stick Big Ted and Hero got the statistics that lead the league 'Cause when you're rockin' the supreme flow you're an elite mc If this is a war I'd be the general to step up and lead And if you don't take orders your ass will get jumped by me You can't even battle, 'cause like Deion Sanders you can't tackle But you're only 16, so that's embarassment since your career's over before it began Next you'll be writing a love letter to fan4ever asking him to be your man While your jerking off to a "Playgirl" magazine in your hand Just shut the **** up 'cause we don't wanna hear about your gay stories Goin' to prison and takin' it up the butt is clearly what you consider a day of glory But that doesn't live up to me being a leader Without beggin' like u I get digits from cheerleaders Oh I forgot you like guys anyway since you're a queer

I've been an Eagle fan since I was 7 when Randall Cunningham and Hershall Walker were on the team. There's been some tough times over that time, especially when they went 3-13 in '98 but the past few years have been great since they drafted Donovan Mcnabb, fans were wanting Ricky Williams but we already had Duce Staley (who's now with the Steelers) and we were pretty weak at quarterback so drafting Mcnabb was logical, and look now Ricky Williams retired already and Mcnabb is a premiere quarterback. Signing TO was the best thing that the Eagles could do now Mcnabb has more weapons to work with, but getting rid of both Taylor and Vincent at cornerback might come to hurt them late in the year, but we have the best safties in the NFL Brian Dawkins and Michael Lewis, so I'm not worried. I think that the Jets might make a run at the Super Bowl this year for the AFC, they're gonna be the surprise team(they'll play the Steelers(Duce and Bettis is gonna be the best 1-2 running back combination this year, the Eagles shoulda kept Duce 'cause the Steelers have "The Bus" already but now they have an even stronger ground game with Staley) or Patriots(they have a lot of depth but won't make the Super Bowl) in the AFC championship game) and the Eagles will get over the hump and make the Super Bowl by beating the Falcons(if Vick is healthy) or Packers in the NFC Championship game.

The battle's not finished yet, let me go for mine Here we go... Look fan4ever you don't own the board This battle ain't over until the forum hands me an award You don't like to battle 'cause when you flow people get bored If this was a battle on stage you'd get booed off Along with Joe, who just sings songs for hoes There's a reason why people hate your flows, what you create doesn't hold Up to my standards, you rap's dying from cancer You better get down on your knees and say some damn prayers 'Cause low self-esteem won't make survive in this damn world You want to talk like you're tough But then all of a sudden you back out like a bust I'm smokin' your ass out like a blunt This is a battle, come on now you can't yell out enough This is what you came for We're supposed to retaliate back and forth You don't rap up to that form I'm a big guy so I'm gonna take the board When that ball comes off the rim I don't think you have balls since you have a period I guess you're not much of a man, you're a bitch If you can't stand to take competition and criticism And I know how your gonna respond back by saying you're gonna kill me But it's your ass that'll fry if you drill me 'Cause I'll come haunt your ass like a ghost if I pass And it doesn't matter how fast you go trying to dash As this generation's conscious rapper I bring true lyrics on the rhymes I blast I don't try to get fans But they just come to me like your girlfriends I'm gonna keep on battlin' until Tim puts the lock on this Everyone here's frontin' but I'm droppin' the hottest **** Like KRS-ONE "knowledge reigns supreme over nearly everyone" when I'm rockin' For all I care y'all can "Hate Me Now" like Nastradomous There's no way Teddy's found stopping this That's my other nickname but my real name's Gracia Reppin' the ways every time as a real hip-hoppa!

You gotta have confidance in yourself or else your nothing, people can give you a lot of praise but if you don't believe in yourself you won't make anything hot, that's the most important thing to remember. I like this song better than the one you posted last week, your making progress, keep it up! :thumb:
-
It's not as great as the OG by Nas "Life's a Bitch" but it's dope though, great storytelling there, all 3 stories could really happen which is sad but true, it makes u think.
-
The battle's over? :dunno: It was just getting fun, why don't we keep flowin' and get more lyricists in it like Fuq and Da Brakes if they wanna.
-
I like those poems Kimmie! :thumb: I could tell you wrote them from your heart. I like to write peoms too once in a while about things that go on in my life and I feel they're more personal than my songs i write, myabe one day I might post some of them so y'all could get to know me better.
-
I wouldn't waste my money on that crap! I don't even wanna waste time thinking about him 'cause to me he ain't a rapper anymore, he's just singing love songs like you know who! :ditto: I borrowed "Country Grammar" from my friend and thought it was wack so I never bought it, but if I were you, I'd toss those Nelly CDs in the garbage 'cause they don't deserve a spot in my collection.
-
What's up y'all I came in from work today and watched some NFL games, my favorite team is the Philadelphia Eagles. Does anyone here watch NFL Football? I'm just curious to know to see if we could have a football chat here. Peace!

I'm feeling that song, you got a lot of talent, you write with a lot of emotion and have a unique writing style, keep it up!

Knowledge is the best weapon that I posess I'm typing these lyrics straight off the dome I'm blasting The ammunition in my head never lacks to hit My thoughts come quick like Carl Lewis This isn't even 100% effort I'm giving But I'm the type of lyricist that can make my worst song a hit 'Cause anything that I write is stronger than your **** Only if I'd lend you my pad, you'll get rich One day my book of rhymes are gonna be on display at a museum I'll turn on your girlfriend if you don't give her proper respect Real women like men like me who're intelligent So if you're dropping out of school you're irrelevant You don't have no sex appeal My hunger goes beyond for the next meal I bust the flow that reps the feel Of me being a conscious rapper like Chuck D Since I know "I gotta give the peeps what they need" I'll rep for my friends and public enemies Anything that gives me motivation, it's all love for me I'm gonna be a legendary master so the youngeons will look up to me 'Cause the world needs a rapper that'll lead Beyond that's gathered from wack record companies You're a selfish person if you're only rappin' for money I rap for a change, that's why I don't rap the same Like the other bull**** you hear everyday That's why even when we're battlin' I'm still gonna drop knowledge that'll clear your brain 'Cause it's clogged worse than President Clinton's heart they had to operate
-
I could tell that Nas inspired to write that one 'cause it's similiar to the way Nas did it on "Pussy Killz" on the God's Son Bonus Disc, I like it a lot, you do well with storytelling in your rhymes! Hey Joe don't take anything from the battles personal but when it's time to battle there is no time to be friends, let's keep the beef on the rhymes and that's it.

It was a sad day 3 years ago, it doesn't feel that long ago to me, I was starting the 1st day of 11th grade and when I went to history class the teacher put on the TV and told us what happened, it was a shock to see, it looked like something that you would only see in a movie, it didn't seem real. RIP to those victims and the heroes that tried to save them. You can't take anyday for granted because you never know what'll happen tomorrow. What happened in Russia last week at that school was terrible too, there's too much evil in the world for world peace!

PE DVD "Power To The People And The Videos"
bigted replied to bigted's topic in Caught in the Middle
Man, how am i ever gonna get outta debt with so much good stuff coming out?!? I might have 2 ask 4 that 4 Christmas. Is the new Greatest Hits album gonna pick up where Greatest Misses left off or will it compile all the hits thru' out their career??
There's a lot of great stuff comin' out now, for a while there wasn't much I was interested in buying, that DVD comes out the same day as "Sharktale Soundtrack" with the new Big Will track and then the next week Nas and Talib Kweli drop their albums! I've only been listening to PE only since 2000, I bought "He Got Game" Soundtrack, in 2002 I bought "20th Century Masters: The Best Of Public Enemy", in 2003 I bought "RevolvolutioN" which is the latest release from them it has about 6 new tracks(including one where they diss George W. Bush "Son Of a Bush") and the rest is remixes and performances of their greatest hits it was very well done, and recently I bought "It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back" and I've been playing that everyday since I bought it! :switch: They have so many releases I need to buy still, I ain't gonna front though, my CD collection has only about 150 in it, and I have about 100 cassettes, so I don't really have a full catalog of any artist, unlike AJ who has a warehouse of music at his house! I'm surprised that I have more Public Enemy CDs at my house then you do! :sonny: -
I guess it's my moment to make an appearance By request I'm puttin' your gay **** in clearance 'Cause certain opponents say outdated lyrics when fearing That their image won't bring a platinum plaque here again So even when you battle you mention "Girls, Girls, Girls" in the flow If I wanted to hear some slow **** I would put on Luther Vandross But now's not the time to do that I gotta come jot the rhymes your crew lacks When they ghost rhyme all your foolish girl tracks If you take these lines too personal, put on period pads 'Cause your crying on like you're bleeding through your ass Since you're excited over why we dissed you Now is the time that we dismiss you Clown rhymes are pitiful You bite legends rhymes like a pitbull But you sound like a pup The only way you turn on girls is if you found them drunk 'Cause when they're sober they know you're a punk And it occurs that I made you bluff Slicing through your nerves as I would to a cake crust

What's up y'all I found out this on: PublicEnemy.com "Recently in LA Mistachuck recorded the final voiceover for the new Universal DVD Power To The People And The Videos; The Complete Video Collection of Public Enemy. With over 22 videos this DVD WILL BE RELEASED THE SAME DAY sept 21st 2004 as the essential CD greatest hits collection, Power To The People And The Beats, throught the newly formed Public Enemy Archive Series leading to as many as 8 dvds 2 essential deluxe editions of FEAR and Nations and the unprecedented boxset next year. WHoa." I read on that website that they're also working on 2 new CD's to be released within the next year and that they recorded a song with Moby for the '04 Olympics Soundtrack, and they were at Charlie Mack's All-Star Jam in Philly recently, so Public Enemy's still going strong after almost 2 decades! :switch:
