1.
Thats pretty cool that Jada sings. I just wish her and Will would keep out of each other's music. I don't like when they are together. I dunno why. Let FP do his thing and Jada do hers.
They should both let each other do their thing! There ain't nothin' wrong with that.:thumb:
2. If anyone says "F*** You" to me I take that as a diss and I hate it but I don't let it faze me! They're a lot of jerks in this world but sometimes it's better not to retailiate, as long as nobody doesn't touch me I don't give a damn, words are cheap somtimes! Will proves that he's a better man than Eminem by not responding.
3. That song's tight, I love the beat and lyrics! :thumb: :thumb: :ohnoes:
4. I knew the Pistons would win that game but I thought it was gonna be much closer. If the Pistons win this series, the dominance of the Western Conference will be over 'cause the Bulls were the last Eastern Conference team to win the NBA title back in '98 and no team from the Eastern Conference has won since then. This could bring more balance to the NBA again so I hope the Pistons pull it off.
5. Losing a loved one is a tough thing to deal with, all my grandparents passed away over the past 6 years. You gotta keep on living your life the way that person knew you and loved you for and keep on pushing on 'cause we don't know how long we're gonna be here. Keep your faith up in God and he'll see you through whatever you go through, you'll be a'ight! Keep your head up and everything will be all right! Peace!
6. The way that music is going now, it'll be a surprise to see a musical artist today have such longevity like Ray Charles did, all these young cats should learn from this man's life, an inspiration for us all. He was blind but it seems that he had more vision for his music than a lot of these young cats do. Just wanted to share my thoughts with y'all about this since we talk about the state of our music so much, the older cats are dying off, and it seems that the younger cats are taking music to the trash, it's a sad thing! :tear:
7. I think that this whole retirement talk was just a stunt, Jay-Z idolizes Michael Jordan, so he figures that he'll pull an MJ by announing retirement and coming back a year later. You gotta be kidding me, he's no legend, he's just doing this for popularity! :cussing: Maybe more peeps will pay more attention to Big Will if he announces retrement from rap and releases his album a week later!
8. Outkast released a double album and won a grammy, so their might be more artists mking double albums now.
9. The Pistons will win tonight, East Coast B-Ball's back baby! I love to watch great defense! :dancingcool:
10. Y'all did very well, much props to BadBoys/WildWildWillenium for winning and DevilsJim/Prince held it down as well for a great battle! :dancingcool:
11.
Nas has fell off the best of his peak. He better get it back wit this 3rd album.
Did you listen to "God's Son" or "Stillmatic"? :eek4: How is that fallin' off of your peak, those are incredible albums! I didn't know Nas only made 3 albums, I thought he made 6, not counting the remix and unrealeased material released, before this new double LP("Illmatic, "It Was Written", "I Am", "Nastradamus", "Stillmatic", and "God's Son"). I don't know I could be mistaken. :dunno: In my opinion, Jay-Z has been washed up for the last 3 years and Nas is a hall of fame lyricist.
12. I like "Get Rich or Die Tryin'" but a couple songs are kinda weak, nevertheles it's a solid album for this year's standards, and it's not a classic, I'm hopin' that 50 Cent's next album's better 'cause to be a legend you have to keep on improving. Dr.Dre's albums are tight but he hasn't released one in 5 years, I was asking what albums that are out now that you can listen from start to finish. I heard that Nas won't be releasing his album now until September, that sucks, no Will Smith album or Nas album this summer! :cussing: Columbia's a pain in the ass I hope Nas leaves from there after he releases his double LP.
13. If Jordan, Pippen, and Shaq were all on the Bulls I bet they would've won 10 straight NBA titles 'cause even without a dominant center the Bulls still won 6 in 8 years but I liked Bill Cartwright though 'cause he was a tough defender like Ben Wallace. In '96 they would've gone 82-0 wit Shaq!
14. I was only mentioning that Kobe had a great performance in Game 2, but he doesn't dominate game in and game out like MJ did, so he'll never get to Jordan's level. You're right man Jordan's the greatest,I don't think I'll ever see a greater player than MJ in my lifetime!
15. I'm feelin' that joint! I wanna be on the remix! It reminds me of **** I wrote during the summer of '01 called "Summer's Here"(Also inspired from Summertime by JJFP) Check out this verse from it: "There ain't any more school So there's time to enjoy the pool And stay cool By flashing some icy jewels Changing all the rules 'Cause there's more of a summer flow With the weather getting hotter, the mamis are wearing less clothes And you know that it's going down for sho' That's why summer is also the dopest time for rap shows There ain't any doubt 'Cause you see how it's going down For ballers that's what summer's all about Having your favorite ice cream cone Listening to this jam sitting on hot chrome Getting messages from honeyz on the phone And then heading over to the basketball court Watching the lil' kids jumpting rope 'cause it's their favorite sport Everybody's having fun all around Vibin' to the hot summer sound My homie, if you feel the way I do, give me a pound 'Cause we representin', you n'ah mean I'm not a canvus artist but I'm reminising and painting a scene No matter where you are, summer's the place to be The best time for the playas and honeyz" :dancingcool: I like that "Best Friends" song too, you have a lot of potential, keep doing ya thing, peace! :afro: :peace:
16. Kobe played like Jordan in his prime and Karl Malone is a warrior, he hobbled off the floor with the injured knee, but he came back!
17. True, I thought that "Oochie Wallie" was garbage, but other than that though Nas is the most versatile rapper currently in the game that I truely respect, it takes a lot of balls to make a song like "I Wanna Talk To You" and "Life's a B", my only problem with him is that he says the "N" word way too much! Nas's inspiration Chuck D is one of the rappers that ain't afraid to bring up anything, he speaks alot of politics in his raps, which makes him controversial, but is postive because he's not afraid to speak his mind, and even if you don't agree with him you can feel his point of view, even though I like Kanye West, Chuck's right, 'cause back when PE was on the scene, nobody would pay attention to Kanye! Chuck D should seriously run for president along with KRS-ONE 'cause they are the smartest cats in our generation!
18. Will would be a fool to not make big movies, he has a well established acting career and he shouldn't stop that now 'cause I don't realistically see Will selling almost 10 million off of his next album the way the current state of the music industry is, the average music fans wanna hear ignorance and don't know what real music is like we do!! But if Will loves hip-hop as much as he says he does, he'll release his album anyway and not pay attention to how much it sells, like I said before the loyal fans will buy it!
19.
THE LAKERS SUCK!!!! I HOPE THEY LOSE!!! EVEN IF THEY WIN, THEY STILL SUCK!!!
It doesn't matter what happens from here this is the Lakers last run! The Bulls are a very up and coming young team all they need is veteran leadership by re-signing Pippen(if he's healthy enough to play we could use him) or sign Karl Malone in free agency and they can compete with the Pistons and the Knicks in the Eastern Conference next year, I think the Pacers and Nets will lose more next season, Jason Kidd's hurt too, and Reggie Miller shouldn't start anymore! The Timberwolves will probably win it all next season though 'cause Garnett will be hungry.
20.
The lack of good Hip-Hop and Rap has totally driven me in2 the arms of other music... .... I just hope that something happens 2 save Hip-Hop music. It sucks 2 have only 3 or 4 CDs come out each year from your favorite kinda music.
I like listening to a lot of R&B and Reggae now, but you can see that the reggae artists are startin' to do the same trash that the rappers are doing now! I like listening to ol' school music period, whether it's '80s-'90s hip-hop, or '70s-'80s R&B, or '70s-'90s Reggae. If I had a rough day at work, I like to put on something releaxing to listen to like Boyz II Men or Stevie Wonder rather than something that's too hard and edgy, but sometimes when I'm real mad I'll put on some 2Pac or Dr. Dre, and when I feel good I'll listen to JJFP and LL Cool J, I like music that has some emotion in it, if you listen to a lot that's out now, it doesn't make you feel anything, the youth is gonna hear it and be all confused about what real music is, you're right man music is music, right now it seems that the music has no soul in it, 'cause the people that make the music are souless people only worried about themselves. A lot of the songs that I write express the various moods of my life and I don't see any rapper currently doing that, we don' really know about them, who they really are and that is pitiful 'cause m.c's used to tell stories with their music but they don't do that anymore.
21. For the Sexiest Videos Ever I'd have to say: #1-Salt-N-Pepa and En Vogue "Whatta Man" #2-Keith Sweat "Nobody" #3-Boyz II Men "I'll Make Love To You" #4-Montell Jordan, Master P, and Silk The Shocker "Let's Ride" #5-Salt-N-Pepa "Shoop" I also think the videos y'all mentioned are sexy as well! :thumb:
22. Most of the wackest songs are the ones that came out in the last 5 years! #1-Nelly "Hot In Herre" #2-Nelly "Country Grammar" #3-Chingy "Right Thurr"(Both Versions) #4-Puff Daddy and Mase "Can't Nobody Hold Us down"(They ****ted on a classic) #5-Vanilla Ice "Ice Ice Baby"(One of the 1st wack songs in hip-hop history) #6-Eminem "My Name Is" #7-Mase "Feels So Good" #8-Jay-Z "Change Clothes" #9-J-Kwon "Tipsy" #10-Jay-Z "99 Problems" Basically anything that's currently being released is a canidate for this list!
23. I have some points to make about the current state of the hip-hop game. #1-Hip-hoppers don't focus that much on performance today like Public Enemy, LL Cool J, KRS-ONE, Beastie Boys, JJFP, and other ol' school m.c.'s did in the late '80s and early '90s. #2-Ever since TRL was introduced, hip-hop has gone down, we can't be associated wit Britney, NSync, and Jessica Simpson. :cussing: #3-Only the m.c's that talk about guns, sex, cars, and other material **** get promotion, while real cats like Coolio and KRS-ONE make albums and nobody cares! :tear: #4-Why the hell does every rapper gotta say the "N" word all the time? Hip-hop is supposed to be for all races not just for black people!! Hey I'm black but I think it's time to stop talkin' so ignorant we have to learn to avoid racism 'cause it's stupid! #5-Rappers are afraid to step up their game a notch. Hey I like 50 Cent and I respect his hustle in the game but he has to bring something more positive in order to expand his talent. Like KRS-ONE says:"You are not just doing hip-hop, you are hip-hop". This is a very depressing subject to talk about and I don't know when it's gonna change!! :dunno:
24. Aw, that sucks I thought that he was gonna make a rap song on the I Robot Soundtrack! :cussing: I guess there won't be any new Big Will music comin' out this summer! :dunno:
