  1. I WAS CHATTING WITH TIM LAST NIGHT ON FACEBOOK AND I REALIZED IT'S PROBABLY 'CAUSE IT'S AN OLD HEADSET, I HAD IT OVER 5 YEARS, I ORDERED A NEW ONE OVER AMAZON.COM TODAY
  2. happy 2015, here's an article i found about using prayer to bring peace and blessings into the new year!: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/12/31/new-years-2015-blessings_n_6400782.html
  3. I'm looking forward to 2015 to being a big year for me, family, friends, and of course the JJFP.com fam, 2014 was a year of resurgance for me as I reflect, sure the state of hip hop ain't as strong as it used to be but my love of the game has grown to it's highest since I was in high school and I'm writing songs at a frequent pace like I did when I joined the board back in 2004, in 2014 the mixtapes by 2 JJFP.com friends in Kel Spence and Dayne Jordan were big influence on me rekindling the love of the game! God willing my goal is to put out an album of my own this year, I'm gonna announce it here now that I plan to call it "Starting Over" 'cause I've had to rebuild and restart certain parts of my life over the past few years or so, I wanna share this track, my year end wrap up and goodwill for the new year song "2014 Year Of Resurgance(Goodwill for '15), peace and god bless JJFP.com fam, much love to DJ Jazzy Jeff, Kel Spencer, Dayne Jordan, and Fresh Prince(get back to the mic ASAP my brother, hip hop needs you badly!)
  4. Boyz II Men "II" album, taking it back with one of the classics as I'm going forward in 2015
  5. well i think it's good to have a throwback vibe going 'cause most of what's out now is boring and watered down, anyway i think ashanti's "braveheart" is one of the underrated albums of 2014, her christmas album is dope too...
  6. ll cool j authentic album, this is the reason why there's hope for the goat 2 album 'cause it wasn't that long ago that he put out a solid album
  7. ll cool j "know your name", i don't care what anyone says i think this has a chance to be a big hit
  8. How many rappers today put out songs on the level of "I'm Nice" and "Tell Tha World"? Those songs bring it hard as hell...A lot of the other material you could say is mixtape material like turntable said but with that being said that don't make it all wack, it is what it is...LL's still going strong on his 15th album(today rappers put out mixtapes but he's from the era of classic albums so why would you doubt him like i mentioned?) and he's dropping songs for the fun of it, you can't say that about many rappers, you can't even say that about FP, that's what I wish Will would do, we've almost gone 10 years without a single song, how could that be if you have a studio at your crib? In a day when people record on their laptops like us, and no offense to Dayne Jordan but Will should be rapping over fresh Jazzy Jeff tracks....
  9. what's wrong with the wu tang clan album? i heard a lot of good things about it, i ain't the biggest fan of the world of wu tang but they legends of hip hop that know how to make dope music and in this wack music industry today i'd definately say they're one of the handful of artists keeping the music alive
  10. you know like i mentioned this is LL we're talking about here, if this were the average commercial rapper there'd be a need to be worried but we all know what he's capable of, when it's proper time to drop the album it'll be game on 'cause we know the legend delivers
  11. as many of you know i've been recording my songs but i'm having problems recording recently, i'm starting to hear hissing on the audio of my recordings and i want to know how to get rid of that??? help would be appreciated!
  12. fabolous is underrated, i always liked his flow, but this ain't his best track, I do like he's giving homage to the old school hip hop artists on his new album, much love for keeping the legacy alive...
  13. I'm listening to that Dave Hollister track now, I didn't know his album came out, gonna have to support that, I heard the original version of spend the night on the radio, maybe there's a hope for a Blackstreet reunion soon!
  14. no offense to dayne jordan and j cole but they ain't on LL's level either and they're 2 of the recent hip hop artists i like, reality is LL got nothing left to prove, he already said in numerous interviews that what he put out recently is just a tease, he did that back when people thought he was joining G-Unit but then put out a solid "Exit 13" and then he did it like you mentioned with "Authentic" and then dropped a classic, I know he could do better and he will, that's why he's the GOAT, I mean as good as some of the new rappers some of you on here hype it they still can't get to the legend's level, that's why he's just having fun, maybe he needs to battle somebody again 'cause a lot of his best material came out when he was angry, "Mama Said..." and "GOAT".... EDIT:I was reading on facebook that LL's gonna do a collab with Em on GOAT2, should be epic!
  15. come on now with that harsh criticism, ll at his worst is still better than 99% of all commercial artists, i would rather hear this song being played on the radio than that young money garbage anyday, i already know that this is just something for the radio, he'll come stronger on the album without a doubt...
  16. jeff's at it again, he made a holiday mix this year! http://www.djjazzyjeff.com/2014/11/27/since-were-now-in-the-holiday-season-please-enjoy-my-holiday-mix-happy-holidays-link-in-my-bio-happyholidays-vinyldestination/
  17. Jazzy does so much music that many of us forgot that he made a holiday mix for us! http://www.djjazzyjeff.com/music/
  18. another new song, seems commercial but effective, this could be a big hit, i like it's smoothness!
  19. i've been doing a lot of things over the holiday season but i'm gonna take a moment this weekend to vote for you, you got my back brother!
  20. i found this dope old school hip hop playlist by funk flex, red alert, and chuck chillout, it ain't christmas music but this is something all us real heads could appreciate, merry christmas/happy holidays 14! http://www.inflexwetrust.com/2014/12/25/djfunkflexapp-listen-kool-dj-red-alert-dj-chuck-chillout-funk-flex-christmas-eve-14%E2%80%B2-oldschool-mix/?wt=5
  21. btw i just left a message on facebook to kel spencer about how i had his mixtape on my music playlist along with christmas music today and he said he felt good about that, it feels real to make someone's day...
