  1. yeah everybody remembers krs for doing self destruction but this one is brilliant too, I also like the self construction song of 2008, krs is great at getting emcees together for a cause JJFP "Twinkle Twinkle"(I'm Not A Star)
  2. one of my favorite moments from her show was when she had the child prodigies featured on there, including a 12 year old who's in college and two 10 year old dancers
  3. I tried posting the video there but I couldn't get the link to work so ignore the above post, I also liked the ll cool j interview btw as well, and the nicki minaj interview from about a month ago was better than I thought too even though I ain't into miaj's music
  4. Queen Latifah In Seaside Heights, where I lived for 18 years haha: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqBxTmEFfKk&hd=1
  5. there's mixed feelings here, any site of will on the mic is a good thing to me but like everyone else I want something new
  6. good stuff there, the queen latifah show is definately doing big things
  7. i think the album's good but em's definately overrated, it's not like he's the only artist out there putting out good music
  8. this reminds me of when the fake lyrics of "mr. nice guy" leaked online, it's funny how far some haters go
  9. will's had a lot of success in his music career, the real artists respect him, and i believe that he could still do well if he did release albums since 2005 but you got a point there, it can't be one person that'd save the state of rap but if he was still releasing music at least it'd be a start
  10. the season is starting tonight, good luck to all!
  11. yeah this is nice, thanks for posting tim, casual is a dope mc!
  12. yeah i really really hope that this track gets out there
  13. i got a lot of proven hall of famers in my draft, i'm looking forward to trading kobe bryant for derrick rose, they're both coming off injuries and should have good years but i would rather have derrick rose since he's a chicago bull, i got kirk hinrich and mike dunleavy as my other bull players
  14. Jeff should put out a autobiography of his life and career, he always has great insight
  15. i shared this interview on facebook but i've been busy lately so i didn't get a chance to watch the whole interview until this morning while having some coffee, it's interesting that he answered my question and said that he'd be a cook if he weren't a dj, that was some incredible stuff i learned through this interview, i enjoyed every minute of it!
  16. i find it very sad that will would cave into the criticism of his haters that say he's a better actor than an emcee and give up on a legendary hip hop career that very few emcees have been on with over 30 million records sold, the numerous awards and accolades including the first ever hip hop grammy, Will and Jeff should be in the Rock and Roll hall of fame for what they've done being music pioneers, they've inspired me so much, like everyone here i don't wanna see fresh prince give up
  17. i watched the tlc movie "crazysexycool" movie last night on vh1, it's well done in covering their career
  18. Will has enough hits already where he could do 2 hour shows on a tour with Jeff easily, yeah at this point I think a tour would actually be better than an album as well since he's such a great performer and performance has been a lost art
  19. We usually do the Yahoo or ESPN league, I could start up a league but we gotta figure out how many people are gonna do it
  20. It's only about a week until the NBA season so are we gonna do a fantasy league again? I'll be down to do one if y'all are interested
  21. There's still some quality hip hop out there, you got the veterans like LL Cool J, Public Enemy and KRS-ONE still out there, and some younger mcs like J. Cole, Wale, and Kendrick Lamar are doing their thing too, now I'm working on some things myself, I think there's some talent on this board like Da Brakes, Hero, and FUQ that could drop something as well to bring the realness back that could drive the veterans like JJFP to continue on, I'm still remaining positive that Will's gonna drop something new, I still come to this board almost everyday hoping to catch the news of something, as long as the Fresh Prince's alive hip hop ain't dead
  22. well i like that he name checked some of the hip hop legends like nwa, pe, and run-dmc, now i'm looking forward to an album in that level, the direction he's taken in recent times makes me say i'm actually looking forward to an eminem album since y'all know i ain't one of his biggest fans
