that's some great news for your friend AJ, yeah i'm just trying to keep positive about things and not think about the worst since i know it's best that my father's being taken care of, it's been the longest week and a half for me, my father has been placed in a rehabilitation center, i went to see him with my mother a couple days ago and he seems to be in good spirits so that's encouraging, we'vebeen doing a lot of paper work and making sure all that business is straight, it's been a lot for the family to deal with but so far we're doing all right considering the circumstances, just taking it one day at a time like everybody is

y'all may noticed that i've been away from the board well it's cause that it's been a long week for me and i'm praying for my father gracia miller sr. since he's not feeling too well right now since he got diagnosed with dementia and he has a lump in his lung after he got sick tuesday morning with a seizure after we ate breakfast together, i'm trying my best to keep my head up but it's been hard for me and my family, it seems like everyday this week the news on him has been worse and worse, please keep him and us in your prayers, i appreciate yall since the jjfp.com board has been like to an extended fam to me, i'm playing "the rain" right now trying to keep the positive energy alive...

Common never disappoints me, money's tight for me right now too but I heard most of it on youtube so I'll definately buy, I got most of his CDs, he's one of the best ever

Merry Christmas JJFP.com fam, I wrote a special rhyme called "Christmas Rhyme 2011": this is more than just about gift buying or all the fancy decorations we're finding it's all about the fitting timing bringing the feelings back in line again when they pop back in my mind again it's time to put aside the differences so we could have the best christmas since our lives are filled with tension time to find that peace within contemplating on the birth of jesus since love is what we're all needing lending a helping hand to those who need it loved ones gathering during this season wishing these moments will never be leaving coming up with the lyrics from deep within even the critics will feel this since you can't diss what comes from the spirit even if you do i won't hold it against you there's a hope that as we come together that life is gonna be so much better it's like r. kelly writing the love letter i'm bringing that devotion to the world love and happiness for the boys and girls there needs to be an ending to sickness, poverty, and war so none of us will be hurting no more christmas 2011 bringing joy for all big and small closing the verse out with this thought as we bring up 2012, it's time to put negativity on the shelf

i wanted to share this poem with y'all after i just came up with this poem while praying and reflecting how good god is, good night and enjoy: so much ways to seek love thoughts that continue to come up since god blesses us i realize how i have so much the reasons i stay positive come all on these blessings giving me a new perspective writing a chapter of a new lesson a bigger proclamation is being written the prayer comes before the words come out taking away all of nerves and the doubt since i feel more cleansed now no matter how many decide to come around i learn who goes in my circle so i'll feel hurt no more i just can't longer ignore that i feel stronger than ever before and i'm going to continue on this roll since a love like this continues to grow that's right heavenly father as your son i'm humbly yours thank you for carrying me to this moment and the bright future you have in store

brandon roy has definately been one of my favorite players in the nba's last 5 years or so, i had him on my fantasy team a couple times, hopefully he'll reconsider and come back to play again one day since he's still a young guy, maybe sitting out the short season and coming back fresh in 2012-2013 would be a good alternative that i hope he'd think about

if there's collaborations i want it to be with mostly legends from the golden era of hip hop(slick rick, ll, rakim, rev. run, dmc, naughty by nature, public enemy, kool moe dee, latifah, lyte, krs), i wanted to see a JJFP and Heavy D collaboration for a long time but obviously that won't happen with Heavy gone, there's not too many out there today that bring quality unless it's talib kweli, rhymefest, jean grae, b.o.b., j. cole, and lupe
