I dont really see the big problem. I dont see why you hate on those artists. You cant blame them for making records allot of people like. Artists that are "good" dont complayn about that ether, caus they got theyr own fan base. In reality you'll see that guys like Young Dro & Lloyd Bank's dont sell more record's than Lupe Fiasco or Method Man. They just might have some bigger singles. And I dont even care about that, caus to me it's something diffrent. Dancing at a party with one of my girls I enjoy listening to track's like "Shoulder Lean", even tho I doubt I'd listen to that at home, caus at home I'd much rather listen to "kick Push". Just let all those artist's be, and dont hate. If you dont like it, dont support it, and just support what you like, caus nobody of us is the one to judge what's wrong or right. @ Fuq: You'r way overreacting about Switch. I've said stuff like this on this board for years...some people roll their eyes when i do. Maybe it'll sink in since it's not me saying it. Maybe its because this current generation didn't grow up on hip hop :damnyou: :damnyou: I dont know who you'r talking to, but I think I'm part of the current generation, and you cant tell me I did not grow up with Hip Hop. The firts record's I ever listened to in my life where, next to Aretha Franklin & The Blues Brothers, Mobb Deep & LL Cool J.

I think the reason he waited was that he will probably take the time to visit and promote the movie in Europe. Probably, but it would be better if it would be released now, right before Christmas. At least I think.

Let's hope it keeps going like this. I think it was a bad decision to wait with Europe till January.

Well aiight, I get what you'r saying. But see, if you are a musician you'r suposed to put out good music. I dont care how you call the guy, if he make's good music he's good to me. Beeing a musician is about making good music. It doesnt help if you are a good singer/mc and if put out bad record's.

Ok.. Let's say you should judge and Mc based on his songs, and not based on what he could do. Good msuic is good music.

It Was Written is Nas's best Album to me.

So, I went to the Record Store yesterday, to pick up Nas's Album. I was looking some newer releases, and I decided to check out the Root's newest Album. I picked up along with Hip Hop Is Dead. I'm listening to it all the time now. Man, this Album is a Masterpiece. Musicaly, this is once again amazing. Those guys do things nobody else does. Dont just skip through the album.. Listen to it as a whole, and than you'll see how amazing that album actauly is. I slept on it till now, and I could slep myself for that. I dont know how I'll think after a while, but right now this is easily the best Hip Hop Album this year. Nas's Album is tight, Method Man was amazing, Ghostface killed it, Masta Killa rocked it, Ice Cube's Album is tight, Public Enemy's Album is tight, Game's is tight, Outlawz's & Dead Prez is tight, Outkast was tight, Snoop was dope, Joe was dope.. But man, this is just better to me. At least that's how I think about it now. If it isnt the best Album, than track's like "Cant Stop This", "Long Time" & "Clock With No Hands" shure are ome of the best track's this year. What do ya'll think? I tryed looking for a Thread, but it seems like we only had Thread's like "Peedie Crack To Join The Root's".

It's a good Album, but I would not call it a classik. He doesnt pull it of like he did on It Was Written. That was a true masterpiece. Hip Hop Is Dead is good, but it wont be the best release 06.. The Root's take that one.

The reason nobody got pissed is probably that no one buy's his records and so on..lol

Yeah, same here. I want Will ti win caus it's Will, but I wouldnt mind Leo winning, caus to me he's one of the most brilliant actor's, which Will isnt yet.

LL Cool J has probably the best Rap Voice. Will, especaly in his older years, has a perfect voice too. Chuck D comes close, together with maybe Fat Joe & Nas. To me anway.
