  1. Well... I dont think there are much Rapper's who come out of hoods like him who didnt do anything yet. I mean, I dont think Bone Thugs are holy ether.
  2. I though Mase had a credible retirement tho. I mean it realy was quiet, and it lasted for quit a while.
  3. Yeah.. After the so called retirement went in hem ade 2 more albums with Lp and R. Kelly..
  4. Well.. A lil cheesy. I guess it a cute Pop Song, but it's not him on top of his game. It's from Pain is Love.. That should explain it. I prefere Allways On Time or Thug Lovin With Bobby B. or something like that, if it comes to his Pop Song.
  5. Bobby's will be ending up with singing nothing but hooks. And Whitney isnt what she was nomore. The last tiem I saw her singing, about 1 Year ago, her voice was all raspy and gone.
  6. Thats bad news for us, and happy news for her. I allways thought she's the best voice outta DC.
  7. Yeah. Bee is good, but DC was outstanding. I'm looking forward to the next Kelly Rowland Album tho.
  8. Almost every Mc dos stuff like this, also the ones we hate on. I dont think there are much that dont give back. It's a godo thing.
  9. That are some great pics julie. I love that building.
  10. As fars as I remember a Board is here to discuss, not just to drop your opinion and than leave it alone. Most of ya'll would nevert stop trying to change changing an opinion of somebody who likes wack rapper #1, so why should I stop proving diffrent my points? Its freaking hypokrit. But I'm used to that, I guess. And talking about diffrent styles is crap, in my opinion. Thats just a way to make your fav. Mc look good, whoever that is. You can be good, you can be decent, you can be bad, you can be amazing.. But talking about diffrent category of lyricims is stupid, I think. You cant say a guy is a great lyrcist just caus of his messages. You can only do that if his skills are allways on point. Thats why I think that Nas is the best lyricist ever. Pac had great messages.. maybe even the best.. he might also had great Beats.. But there aint no way in hell that he had/has the best skills, even tho he was good. I'm not saiying he was wack. He's a better Poet than he's a Mc.
  11. It's from Big Pun's "Twinz" Feat. Fat Joe. That's about the usual lyrcism he has. I agree about that the part thats those lyrics are diffrent. But, Pac song didnt allways have a meaning. And Pun's Tracks werent allways only about showing skills. Fact is, thats Tupac is/was probably the most passionated Mc that ever touhed the Mic, but Pun was still a sicker lyricist (No even to mention his flow). Tupac was wonderfull, but he didnt belong to the best.. nether on lyrics nor on flows. I think you could also say Nas is a better Mc than Tupac, Caus he combined amazing skills with messages. Thats just what I think about it. I dont think you can front on that if you realy, objective, look at it.
  12. I rub your face off the Earth and curse your family children like Amityville drill the nerves in your cavity fillin Insanity's building up pavillion in my civilian The cannon be the anarchy that humanity's dealing A villain without remorse, who's willing to out your boss Forever and take all the cheddar like child support
  13. Yeah, its going good this year. Some newcomers had quit good albums too, like Rhymefest and J.R. Writter. And we still got Papoose, Maino, Lupe Fiasco and them to drop.
  14. Yeah. Jay-z's even doing shows over here right now. I agree about J.d. tho. I think producers are able to do a better job than Rappers, running a a label.
  15. Charlie Baltimore Feat. Ashanti-No One Does It Better
  16. I think a good title for that song is "cute".
  17. Nas says his greatest work is ahead of him, but the veteran rapper said his fans will intimately determine if his latest album Hip-Hop Is Dead reigns over his classic albums like Illmatic (1994), It Was Written (1996), Stillmatic (2001), God's Son (2002) and others. "It's probably the best record I ever did," Nas told AllHipHop.com. "I mean, when you work in the studio for a while, sometimes you think its great, but you don't know what it is until the people hear it. So I hope the people agree." The Queensbridge, NY rapper signed a joint venture deal with Def Jam/Sony Music in January 2006, ending a long-running feud between he and Def Jam president Jay-Z. The two rappers engaged in a lyrical feud which exploded with Jay-Z's 2001 diss track "The Takeover." Nas answered with the equally scathing reply, "Ether." The two men settled their differences in Oct. of 2005, when Jay-Z brought Nas out for a performance during his "I Declare War" concert at Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, NJ. Under terms of the Def Jam/Sony Music union, Nas will produce four albums, with Hip-Hop is Dead being the first release on his own label, the Jones Experience. The rapper hinted that fans may finally receive the long-awaited collaboration between the lyrical giants. "I'm just with Def Jam," Nas said. "I haven't worked with anybody but myself. A little bit of work with Jay [Z], just for the fans out there and just for us." Nas said Hip-Hop is Dead will be available to retail outlets on Nov. 7. In related news, Jay-Z is expected to release an album of new material later in the year, but Def Jam representatives would not confirm or deny the information.
  18. Yeah that's true but those artists ain't really considered the best artists in hip-hop, Def Jam used to represent classic hip-hop on a mainstream, the problem lies that Jigga needs to sign better new artists and give support to the legends that're still there, I think the best thing would be for somebody that's not an artist to take over as president of Def Jam, somebody like Dame Dash would be good, Jay gets too much credit for Roc-A-Fella but it was Dame Dash that was the head of that, you see only Kanye is shining now on there since Dame Dash left, it don't have to be Dash necessarily but the main thing would be though that the new president of Def Jam won't be an artist is the point I'm making... Jay's not a good president, he's a good artist though... Yeah. I agree. The best bussinesman in Hop Hop are the ons who arent artists, or arent serious artists (With J.D. beeing a special case), like Dame Dash, Irv Gotti.. They dont need no rapper to run Def Jam, the need a bussinesman.
  19. Well, on another hand... Jigga didnt only do a good job promoting himself. Thanks to Jigga, Young jeezy is one of the most hyped act's around. Same for Rihanna and Ne-Yo. He just should have also promoted other type of artists. I think that was the whole problem.
