In continetal Europe we have even less (or at least the 5 countries I have watched a great ammount of tv in). In one hour show we have two, sometimes three depending on the channel. About one every 30 minutes. Most countries also have some channels without ad breaks (or almost), usually the ones that get money from the state. Do american also have to put up with that many breaks during shows like CSI or any other primtime stuff? Or is it just daytime tv that is that excessive?

I am watching NBC. Yes my dear Americans, your NBC. I just have one question - how do you guys survive the commercial breaks? They come on how often? Every 4 minutes? It is driving me nuts. In Europe, you know "the old world", where TV Stations also make a lot of money, we have a commercial break once every 30 minutes. How long do you guys take to watch one episode of Law & OrderI? I mean, for real - WTF?

Now I'm not playing man - where is the link? :D -
I do think it is time for a gay rapper that has succes, homophobia is still way to big a problem in hip hop
-
Wouldn't it be great if Will was gay and he'd be in a secret relationship with Lil Wayne - we'd all together very soon get to visit AJ in the insane-asylum!!

Yeah I was thinking the same thing but I was afraid I would get slaughtered for saying that

Haha I think the video is fun, I mean we all know they dont dress like that anymore.. Jigga is even a family man. It's just for fun, it is almost a throwbak video. I mean look at Kanyes last videos - damn near close to art. I do think they respect the history of music, I think that is why they called the song Otis at first place. About our discussion: It's all love isn't it. We've all been doing this for a while now, haha. We've pretty much had the same discussion once a year for the last five years. I'm just happy that BigTed stopped posting long ass quotes from Chuck D's (He kinda has always been involved in our discussions haha) website that are completly off-topic "If the Armageddon in Hip Hop hit and there was no money in it, who would still be rapping?" - I think some of us would be surprised. Fact is, guys like 50 Cent, P. Diddy and Jay-Z (not Lil Wayne though, he hasn't proved himself to be anything but a Rapper) pretty much lose money errtime they decide to focus on music for a while. They found ways of making money beyond music, much more money. Those guys are rich as hell. Yet a guy like 50 is pissed off as hell when Interscope pushes back his Album and puts all his energy into still releasing it, even though he knows he could use his time to make much more money with Vitamin Water. I'm just saying - we dont know what is going on inside dudes like that. Most of them eat, breathe and ish Hip Hop. Just like us. They just have been more sucesfull making money of what they love.

Well.. I never said Lil Wayne is better than him.. So I hope the last bit wasn't directed at me. And dont give me that "I understand you dont get it because he is not on MTV"-ish.. Come on man. Chances are I know three times as many dope "underground" Rappers/Newcomers than you do. While your are complaining about the state of Hip Hop, I am listening to Phil Ade and Black Milk and so on.. The damn list is endless man, I am nowhere close to listening to all the dope stuff that is being released, for money and for free. I just do not have enough time, no one has... And please dont tell me that is not true, because I know for a fact that you did not even hear 80% of the stuff I am talking about. Hip Hop is as dope is it ever was man, fudge Charts.. Common came out selling 1500 copies of his first album man, and now (partly thanks to Kanye) he is a Hip Hop Superstar.. Dont believe the Hype. How is Hip Hop not exciting anymore? I think never since the late 80's and early 90's there have been so many Kids out there making Beats and rapping (and releasing dope ish for free) just for the fun of it, because they know they probably will not end up earning any real money. Oh and about 90% of them are inspired by College Dropout and The Black Album - so dont you people tell me Kanye and Jigga aren't Legends in their own right.

That and her stuff sucks. If I wanna listen to overproduced beats and heavily doctored voices, I might as well listen to Rihanna.
-
Does anybody realy care about Willow's album? I mean anybody here? I know it might be big news in the Disney Records Forum, but I dont realy see her appeal for true Hip Hop Heads

I liked this one version in which we could chose a lot of diffrent designs. I took one with pink or something.. i believe it was called lollipop and ya'll made fun of me saying I'm.. feminim

By the way I think you should not rap in English. I think it makes more sense to rap in ones own language and stick too it. Unless one has more than one "First-Language".

I speak German, I listen to some German Hip Hop too. I think your flow is pretty good, especially for a beginner. You sometimes sounda just a little bit insecure though, but I've heard a lot worse on the internet. I think you need to work on your lyrics a little bit more though. I like the subject, but a lot of your lines do not veel very natural, often times the lyrics feel kinda forced. You need to smoothen that out. Thats my opinion. I like the Beat.

Which is also called selling out btw.. If it would be true.. I doubt that. People just want to believe that because they can't handle the fact that they hace tunnel view and theyr favorite MC's dont. Except KRS ofcourse.. with his Hip Hop Bible bull****.. Get a grip. I know he is a Legend, but he realy lost it at some point. He is bitter and sometimes says and does very weird things and he acts like he is the ONLY ONE that knows Hip Hop. Next too that I think he is "overrated" - I know he made some ground breaking records, but that is a while ago.. When it comes to skillz he ins't that special and when it comes to content.. A lot of people came out since he was on his high point.. And a lot of them have more thing to say. I will always respect him, he made osme very important records and I realy am thankfull about that - but he is noweher near being one of the best MC's dead or alive. Kurtis Blow also was groundbreaking - people do not walk around acting like he is the God MC.

Them. They are Clones, I know, but it is a group.

They are, they still make Beats under the same name, they for example recenlty had a small Hit when they did the Beat for Lil Kim's "Download". It's a nice song, it realy has this classic TM feeling.- 254 replies
