I agree. He did not have the best flow and he did not have the most complex lyrics, but his passion was what made so many of his songs as great as they are. The Game also sometimes appeals to me because of that, he also is at his best when he brings in the passion.

But when I think about what it took to actually get the record together and everything that I went through on this record–which is something I can’t separate–I hate this album. A lot of the songs that are on the album, I’m kinda neutral to. Not that I don’t like them, or that I hate them, it’s just I know the process that went behind it. I know the sneaky business deal that went down behind this song, or the artist or singer or songwriter who wrote this hook and didn’t want to give me this song in the first place. So when I have that kind of knowledge behind it, I’m just kind of neutral to it like, ‘Another day, another dollar.’ As opposed something like The Cool, which is more of my own blood, sweat, and tears, and my own control. Man I'm realy bumping that album a lot the last few days. This was when the Funk in G-Funk still sounded dirty. This might be my favorite track on the album, but almost the whole album is flawless in its very own way. Who the hell needs Detox?

They probably offered them a sitcom which focuses on two urban kids, and when they declined they did the same thing with JJFP. So the same concept but ofoucrse not the exact same show.

They realy both got a lot of tv and radio time here and the both went Top 10 at least. Maybe it was diffrent here. One More Chance was realy great but I'm not a big fand of the doctored version of Hold My Hand. I'm glad I still have the original on my computer because it is much, much better.

Saigon just released his album

I loved Maybe man, haha, one of my favorite tracks on that album, I remeber we all once had a discussion about how I could like that song I think Maybe, 1000 Kisses & Nothing On My Mind (even tho it didn't make the cut) realy captured what Borne To Reign was supposed to be about - Will slowly fading to the background because he has done it all and has nothing to prove, yet doing just enough to be still very present with his smooth flow and on point lyrics, and Tra Knox giving your ears a massage and setting the right mood. If Borne To Reign was all like that, it would have been a crossover classic, but the way he released it it sounded kind of like a compilation to me, like he lost the concept somewhere in between the album production (tho songs like the Intro & Bloc Party were nice songs, they somehow do not sound like they are supposed to be on that album.. And ofcourse something Willow Is A Player isn't supposed to be on any album).

One More Chace was huge, at least over here. So was Hold My Hand.

Coolio realy should get it back together, the production on his last few albums was so terrible, it's sad realy. It sounded like your average MySpace Rapper.

I didn't know that about Coolio's abum. It makes sense though, cause the album is much more lovey dovey than Gangstas Paradise.
